There has been civil unrest and rebellion in Senegal for a very long time now and a lot of the southern provinces (Kasamance) are plagued by rebels, Jammeh is apparently now discussing with the rebels and asking them for military support so if shit hits the fan, which it most likely wont, then you will have civil war in Senegal and a war along it's northern border with Gambia.
