I just got Middle Ages Myths & Legends by H. A. Guerber. Don't know if it is any good.
I take some Icelandic tome of Nordic legends, "Mein Kampf", and the biggest compendium of Western Philosophy I can find. (Preferably ones that include Plato and Hobbes at least.)
