That isn't to say subgroups simply don't exist, but they are very few and far between, only do a single show or 2 per season, and are in the process of dying even then. GJM is decent, but they are pretty liberal with the translations for the sake of flow and readability. Merchant was a new and promising group, but last season or so they decided to transition into smalltime speedsubs, for whatever reasons.

I'm sure there are others, but I'm not recalling them off the top of my head so whatever. Do keep in mind that every group listed here will only do a few shows per season.

It's great. Idol shows are great. I'm really looking forward to the episode when the gothloli appears. But fuck do I hate the lead. Her hair is so stupid. Just so dumb.

Also, from just watching the first episode, I didn't get any sort of sense of that backstory. Maybe they'll expand upon it in episode 2 or something. Right now it's pretty much a regular idol show.
