I'm an Southeastern Asian/African equivalent of a quadroon myself, and for some reason I feel more comforted by hearing this than angered like one would expect for anyone with mixed genes. That said though I've never felt angry towards my mother for being mixed or my grandmother for racemixing in the first place(Though probably unlike that guy's parents, my mother was conceived during or near the end of a war), but I've never really enjoyed any racial or ethnic culture or pride. The closest I've gotten is just enjoying my American nationality, though I'd come off as more of a mild dixieboo than anything else.
