The time spell was created by Aku, and as long as aku exists, it's in effect.

But if that's going to happen, wouldnt that mean the future would cease to exist already?

The second the girls were introduced, and ashi was made important, it became obvious that she's a key part of Aku's demise, and she will die.

It was obvious she was Aku's daughter because she fucking literally plowed through a whole army with superhuman strength. Last time we saw that shit, was Aku when he was a trap in the first season. Suddenly Ikara became stupid strong.

Ashi's human side and inherent goodness is what allows her to use Aku's power without giving into it. (example, when she was being electrocuted, she suddenly went berserker, got a strength boost and fucked up that moltar sounding motherfucker in short order.)

She will probably "betray" Jack and the scotsman's daughters, merge with Aku, then trap Aku and have jack kill her and aku

Just finished watching the latest episode. I was like "OMFG"!! Serious vintage Aku going through that entire last half of the episode! Greg nailed it! And ole skaramush! Man i was kinda sad to see him go. Aku's reaction when he discovered Jack still had the sword was priceless. "I was never here."

It's not that I hate her outright or hate that she's Jack's love interest, it's just that I have a lingering feeling she'll killsteal at the very end, and all signs thus far had made me paranoid about this (especially since it's CURRENT YEAR + 2).

That being said, her being Aku's actual daughter wasn't surprising; her turning into that SHAPESHIFTING SERVANT OF DARKNESS was, and the way they handled it was appropriately intense (though I had a sneaking suspicion that, too, would happen). That she triggered the tumblrtards and was part of Genndy's ruse cruise makes her even better in my book. We'll just have to wait and see next week.

i think i know how it will work out. We saw it in this episode. Jack is a skilled swordsman. He would know how to make a small cut that does very little damage but does incapacitate. If the darkness that we saw heal over Ashi is any indication the Jack must find a way to cut through the darkness binding her.

If i remember correctly the sword cannot harm a innocent/good person. Ashi is a good person and in some ways very innocent. So i think Jack will remember this and find a way to cleave the darkness from Ashi and then go after Aku with all the wrath in him. It will be fucking glorious!
