The alt-right are so retarded they think this film is an endorsement for fascism

Are you really this bored?

...

unintentionally, yes it is.
just like michael douglas was supposed to be the bad guy in falling down.

that would be heinlein's work. it's one of the things they kept from the book.

Yep you can't make this shit up, the alt right are completely gone

never heard this term before
is it like the terrorist organization alt-left that Sessions is cracking down?

explain

Show me what part of the movie where humans were supposed to be in the wrong?

yes

The book deliberately had pro-fascist themes, the movie was meant to parody that, but did a poor job because you have to understand the basic themes of something to parody it.

as the movie progresses you find out how controlling and prone to rage he was and how he decided to kill his family then himself.
haven't you seen the movie?

Verhoeven was never that much against the germans, as he deliberately made the allies just as bad in Soldaat van Oranje

The exact same allegory can be made for fascism. Hell, any political movement is full of hivemind faggots. That's how politics work in the first place, though.

It really didn't, though. The only evidence for this is the supposed military worship of Heinlein but the society is not at all militarized like in the movie. Most people think the military is a waste of money and has outlived its usefulness.

yes but under reds stuff is collectivized and ironically class mobility is much lower.
i'd say they do it on a completely different level.

Chart related.

That reminds me of Brick Top from Snatch.

The writers tried their best to make the audience hate him. In the directors commentary they talk about portraying him being cruel to dogs to make people hate him.
But the audience loved him because he was so charismatic.

I'm not talking about authoring power of the government, but the hivemind of the political advocates.

Your example picture shows the opposite of a hive mind though.

It shows some people who obviously like Chinese cartoons who are holding up signs. And some people who seem very confused and creeped out by them.

Who was the limp dick who made this? Cringey as fuck, m8.

If I know my history right, classes were still supposed to be present under fascism. Just forking for the common goal of the nation. Nationalism on steroids if you will.

Communism strives for a classless system with no religions(sex, individuality, etc.) with no perceived authority and where everyone is taken care of according to their duty and need.
Ergo, hivemind.

That's not the definition of hivemind. You are thinking about group mentality and the hierarchical control that comes with it.

You think I have recorded the name of every person who makes a picture and posts it on the internet?

You dont know your history then I guess.
As an ideology Socialism is classless too.

The specific difference between Hitlers Socialism and communism was the means in which it was achieved.
Communism called for a revolution where the current system is replaced by socialism where as Hitler wanted orderly transition towards socialism.

What's up with all the Alt-left trolling today? Shills trying to distract from Barcelona news?

...

it doesn't have to be.

fascism endorses itself.

Not those people, just Holla Forums.

I mean the worst they came up with a character flaw was anger issues which becomes more ridiculous in the reaction to it. His bitch wife basically takes his money and then cuts all contact so he can never see his daughter. Any man would be angry at that shit and if you had previous issues with anger you'd be over the edge.

That twitter faggot that's doxing people called us anime nazis and linked the site.

What''s Michael Bay, Sweet Dee, and Elliot Rodger doing there?

I don't agree with most of that but anime fags deserve to die

Never in my life have I been called a lefty before.

But what I said is true if you read his speeches and mein kampf.

What was Showgirls an endorsement of?

Wew, it's fun watching lefties and Commies explain how it's different

It still bothers me that there are people who "get into" National Socialism without realizing that National Socialism is literally Nationalism and Socialism. The whole point of National Socialism was to create an alternative of Socialism that didn't involve catering to Jews, shitting on the economy, or letting capitalism go batshit insane.

how is it the same?

So many retards in this thread

...

We were always libertarians, anti-idpol leftists, or right-wingers who satirized liberals as the medium is pozzed now, but it probably attracted the people that we were mocking because of Charlottesville. It got linked by a liberal Jewish hypocrite who doxed people (some of it which labeled the wrong people) while profiting from it on Patreon, later whining about getting doxed back in return. He tried to play off the infornation as fake "haha, you Nazi losers aren't getting to me", but he's going into full panic mode.

His followers probably found everything on Holla Forums so distasteful that they found their home on Holla Forums, not getting that we're being heavily sarcastic.

Is he doing an hk stunt flip?

labiaplasty?

So essentially Hitlers socialism was grounded in reality where as Marxists socialism was not.

I'm legit disgusted.

Give me your examples yourself or fuck off. Read a book is a typical fallacy that leftypol employs.

National socialism is basically the prussian system that Germany had till end of WW1 with boosted bismarch type socialism that has an actual purpose.
As in using the tools of socialism to keep the people healthy and WORKING. Nothing more since the only people that should survive are the strong ones.
Not make them dependent on the state. The state comes out of people. Nothing more.
Or in other words, Hitler just took things what worked from the right wing and the left wing and made a third, centrist way.

Communism does the exact opposite with it's complete corruption of socialism. It makes people completely DEPENDENT on the state through various social mechanisms regardless of your ability to work.
And at the same time takes every piece of individuality from the people.

Is this a parody account?

the socialist Wholecaust
wat

That is why I've always thought they were sort of a left-right hybrid. The socialism and the individual capitalism in their vision was both stripped down, but they still encouraged some unrestricted trade as long as you also contribute to society. They're nowhere near a completely chaotic and anarchic system that the term "far right" would imply. But then the autistic far left academics realized that this would mean they're hypocrites for calling Nazis far right so they coined the "the political spectrum is not a straight line" and the "there is an economic spectrum and a social spectrum" memes, which if you even gave it just a bit of thought into, completely fall apart.

research.calvin.edu/german-propaganda-archive/hitler1.htm

It's just Prussianism with a new coat of paint, ie a thing that worked for 100 years which is more than any actually "socialist" system can tout. Its just nationalism and protectionism with the government colluding with businesses which are considered good for the national prestige and the people. Krupp being beloved by the people is an example of this while his American counterpart Carnegie was an asshole until he mellowed on his own later in life. Krupp was forced to be a nice guy by the state from the start and Carnegie only became a nice guy after realizing he'd been a dick for 30 years. Likes like enforcing nobility on businessmen without a full manorial system.

That said if natsoc has a flaw it is that it enforces adaptive behaviors on faggots and libtards who deserve to die instead. I want the liberals to snort, abort, and contracept themselves into oblivion while in Germany they forced these trash to live half-decently.

National Socialism could be defined by love of a people.

Americanism could be defined as unwavering hatred for your people's enemies.

Both end up in a similar place but the character and emotions behind them are very different.

Ultimately merchantilism, protectionism, and imperialism work every fucking time. Keynesianism, socialism, and free trade fail every fucking time.

Even the commie numbers are inflated and the holohoax never happened, though it should have.

America exterminated at least a million worthless injuns to create the most militarily dominant empire in history(yes even more than the Brits since they could only defeat the next 3 largest great powers at once). I make no excuses for doing what is in my interest.

tbh a monarchy gives more freedom to the people than anything to the left of libertarianism.

That scene where the wife is talking to the cop about Bill and admits that he never drinks, never does drugs, and never hit her or his daughter (she said "it seemed like he could" and tries to change the subject) but still got slapped with a restraining order because of his temper and "the judge thought we should make an example of him" supports that claim. The cop looks at her in disbelief. You can just tell that Judge Rachael Muffdiver Goldstein fucking shafted Bill Foster in divorce court.

Veerhoven didn't read the book. The book is not a satire.

You're actually the moron.

Im not sure if I completely agree.
Nazi Germany introduced things like the welfare state which was a big change from what had gone on in the previous century.

In both Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia the government claimed not to own the means of production but in both countries they did.

Fascism always exists to promote & protect the established ruling class. They're not "rebels", they're useful idiots slaving for the plutocrats.

Prussia had a welfare state. It had public healthcare, guaranteed days off, a nationalized pension scheme, the works.

Well no in Germany they could just shut you down if you did something they didn't like but they did not appoint anybody to run your business, dictate what product you make, ect.

That said I prefer more cruelty and strife in society, hence I want Americanism which is basically fascism where the government has two forms of recourse: total non-intervention if you aren't fucking around and immediate execution if you fuck around in any manner. Faggots get killed, thieves get killed, though fucking up society also get killed.

I prefer brutal authoritarianism with minimal overhead which is what America had for 80 years and almost had for 200 years until it got fucked up beyond all repair.

They teach you that in college?

Because Pinochet and Franco along with most fascists definitely improved the well being of both the local elite who were invested in their nations(ie like actual nobility) and the general public. Liberalism kills a country slowly and marxism kills it quickly.

Also there is no reason to be "rebels" unless you have a faggy leftist underdog fetish. Why wouldn't you want to be the stronger party and mercilessly crush your enemies and win easily? Why don't you want to win?

I dont think people like Hitler were representative of the ruling class.
He was a struggling artfag.

Mussolini was the son of a blacksmith and a schoolteacher from a small village.

Who were also Anarchists.

And he promoted and protected the plutocrats.

Did you miss the scene that elegantly lays out the failure (and the remedy) to democracy?

One day someone will make a live-action adaptation of Starship Troopers.

Funnily enough it was the left that shat bricks and branded the film as Fascist propaganda when it was released.

The movie was satire, yes, but the source material was a clear endorsement of Fascism.

Some Jewish libertarian who wants to keep Hochfinanz going.

Only reddit thinks that the book is better than the film.

t. illiterate burger

I like Dostoyevsky, Hesse, and Gogol. Starship Troopers just wasn't a very good book.

A not very good book is better than a shitty film.
No one who has seen the film, read the book and isn't a drooling retard knows the book is better, even if the book is nothing special.

What do you have against the film? It's a great action film with really good visual effects for the time, great set design, great music, and lots of comedy. The book is just lowbrow scifi trash with no redeeming value.

They did make an anime of it and it was fairly close to the source material. It's on YouTube if you want to see it.

It was shit. The animation, screenplay, voice acting, and character interactions are extremely stiff. The story is like your typical dull adult shonen anime with lame 2 dimensional boys, nohomo bromance, and muh honoru. The characters behave like absolute autistic retards, for example that fag who was petting a dying bug only to get BTFO, literally what the fuck was the director thinking when he came up with this? The score is reddit tier 80s low budget synth rock just like the ones from cuck fury and other half assed neo-retro flicks, and impressively, it always managed to feel really out of place.

Fuck off. Starship Troopers is one of the most influential scifi books ever writen.

Its a good book

The graph is not even align properly, get your shit together and start using vector program.

And thus resource is not depleted blindly.

Do you commies ever stop blaming your failures on other successful people?
People don't become more evil the more money they have. The world isn't black and white. It's the money that you didn't get through hard effort that corrupts you.

Hitler and Mussolini reigned in the "plutocrats" and demanded that they work for the people, the nation. Or else they had to fuck off.

The book is a solid juvenile sci-fi that focused on the training and campaigns of power-armored supersoldiers utilizing novel tactics and technologies (man-portable guided missiles, rocket boosting from cover to cover, integrated infrared optics, HUD displaying waypoint, squadmate and target location and so on, all in the 50's) against hordes of equally technologically advanced insectoids and their allies while using the scenario to explore all sorts of themes like the balance between individual freedom and duty to one's nation.
While the movie is just another shitty hollywood space marines versus space bugs with mediocre music, set design, costume design, cinematography, humor and a bland "who really is the monster?" message.
If it wasn't for the special effects and gore, no one would remember it.
The movie is just lowbrow scifi trash with no redeeming value.

They got the designs and, from what I've seen, combat right.
But the plot and characters are pretty much copy-pastes of the most generic archetypes and cliches.
Probably still better than the film though.

Literally the term comes from the French Revolution and those on the right side of the aisle supported the monarchy on those on the left were Jacobi s opposed to it. Whoever made that graph needs to be killed.
Leftism is synonymous with egalitarianism not "things that aren't anarcho capitalism"

Jacobins*, wrote on my phone :^)

They're IRL special ops grade at best. No actual enhancements, be they chemical, mechanical or genetic are done to the MI.

Skinnies are technologically inferior to the Federation and the bugs do not possess technology as we understand it. They use purpose grown bugs to do most tasks.

The movie became Starship Troopers late in production.

The Jacobins also supported what would be considered the prototypes of turboleftism today, which is why they later called ancaps, cuckservatives, proto-Nazis etc as right wing out of spite and ignorance because they want to associate those people with the monarchy and all its apparent vices. Come to think of it, the ones who called the Nazis far right were also turboleftists, while the combination of some individual freedom, a strong state and a united national will is anything but far right.

I meant as in "bulletproof, flying, nuclear missile armed and capable of fighting in NBC environments".
Isn't a supersoldier a supersoldier regardless of whether he's a cyborg or just wearing powered armor?
It's not like any modern spec ops could take on a mobile infantryman.

I don't remember the Skinnies level of technology being brought up, but the bugs had FTL spaceships comparable to the humans, both they and the Skinnies had laser or particle beam weapons, carried by the soldiers in the bug's case.

I know.
Whether it is called "Starship Troopers" or "Bug Hunt" it's a poor film.

what did he mean by this?

...

So it's just autistic. It's no War and Peace, it's no Strugatsky novel, and even as juvenile scifi it's nowhere as good as Canticle for Leibowitz. It's just shallow.

Are you implying there was anything like it before? Or outdid what it aimed to be?

It's lowbrow, but it's entertaining. Unlike the novel which is lowbrow but still lame.

...

Every other "earth versus the space bugs" movie.

Was the aim to be shining example of hollywood's ability to take things and turn them to shit?
If so, it's only rarely been outdone.

So it's just autistic. It's no Det Sjunde Inseglet, it's no Kurosawa film, and even as soft/pulp scifi it's nowhere near as good as Das Frau Im Mond.

6/10

Both of those images are psy-ops. Not very good ones either because of how obvious they are.

At least they're obvious to anyone who isn't a complete moron.

...

With large scale battles and mock propaganda theme?

80's-90's Verhoeven isn't shit.

You're the autistic one here.

There isn't even action. Woman in The Moon is more comparable to 2001 and Metropolis.

So commie militias can take over more easily?

wtf I like Hillary now

The book states one mobile infantry man can easily take down 10 battle tanks

...

...

motherfucking this

It doesn't paint them as incompetent.

its not even that. Its more dangerous.

Its and advocate of meritocratic republicanism. But is heavily anti democracy.

Stick to analyzing hentai, lads.

That's completely retarded. Monarchists were the right wingers of their day, with the classical liberal revolutionaries being the leftists.

Monarchism is the only valid system, tbh, and freedom was almost irrestricted under it. It comes from God directly, what else do you want?

Yeah it doesn't gracefully flop from side to side like a cock.

kinda funny. when this was released every leftie thought it was an actual endorsement for fascism and should be banned. they even thought basic instinct was an anti gay movie. verhoeven himself has said that he doesnt know maybe it does endorse fascism who cares lol
