pretty sure we already have a thread like this in the catalog

...

...

Did anyone even watch this show?

lol gay

Literally who?

...

...

this thread already exists

where?

I fucking loved Dragon Tails even as a teen. Goddamn that pink one and the chubby blue guy were cool and the adventures were nice.

How many normie hot topic girls have worn that fucking monkey's face on their tees without knowing where the fuck did it come from

What the fuck is this calarts bullshit

Zig & Sharko, at least it seems like it since I have never ever seen it posted on Holla Forums

I regret nothing

...

This ones looks so similar, same soft colors, extremely tin lines, similar design, etc.

This looks scary as fuck

Second pic is also very scary.

I've only seen Chalk Zone, Dragon Tales and Robot Jones. Seriously, Robot Jones is so underrated. Was there an explanation as to why in the first time it was released his voice was a robot voice but when released again it had a kid voice with a robot overtone?

Anyway here are some cartoons I watched as a kid.

Isn't the 2nd season of this lost media?

Same producer, mon amie. See also: Space Goofs.

I liked Mike Lu & Og but only because I thought Mike's voice was hot. She was voiced by Nika Futterman, who still has a hot voice.

The Mysterious Cities of Gold.

Technically an anime cartoon, sort of, but it was a Japanese French production about Spanish kids having adventures in South America.

Spoilers: El Dorado turned out to be real, but it was made by aliens in a volcano, and the aliens were cheesy villains who used their gold UFOs to try to blow everything up, and El Dorado was destroyed, or some wacky ass shit like that.

Great soundtrack though.

Heyyyy, I kinda liked that one. I think I missed the finale, though I got fairly close. Mutated Collector was late in, yes?

They're also making a new version of Lucky Luke, but only with the Daltons.

:^)

Agreed. Shame she doesn't get more work.

Yep, along with a few episodes from the first season. Shame, too, it was a pretty good series.

...

Huh, I'll give it a watch… it looks comfy as hell.

Hope you like it, user.

can we let this fucking meme die

I had the space goof video game when I was a kid. It came on 6 CDs.
It was shit.

Im trying to remenber an old CGI mini-series about space and the planets. It was an animated 3D series about a trio of NASA robot drones, which travel in space in a space Shuttle. One of the robots, with a male voice, was a biped robot. The female one, was a tracked/wheeled one, and had a robotic arm, And the last one, with a young voice, was a flying drone. I watched it, but cant remenber the name. Please, help me, Holla Forumsmrades.

...

Nobody has ever brought this up besides me

For the longest time I was convinced that there never was an F Zero animated series.
I wrote it off as me misremembering the amount of cartoons based on Vidya and creating something in between Sonic X and Kirby. But then I'm rummaging through my buddy's games and I find this

never ever

What the fuck? I had a dream about those three robots. I didn't know it was a show.

They're using NASA to experiment with psychotronic technology again…

I had these recorded on tapes from like the 12 tapes my parents recorded of t.v. (all the t.v. I had)

There was this crap 90's British cartoon with three little robots who would do Astroboy stuff, and they had crappy robot voices, and they had some name like the Tele-Tykes or Tele-Bots or something. This is driving me nuts. They were like the Powr Puff Girls but CRAP.

user come on…

I remember this

Good luck understanding french, tho.

...

Xavier: Renegade Angel had a small following last I tried discussing it.

Only around here, but in my areas nobody watched it/dared to
Or should the rule apply to our shack, because i have a few tricks here
And one i cannot remember its name, some environmentalist shorts with a female fly teaching kids how to be cool nifty citizens, first episode was something about a diesel boat against a sail boat

He was like in the middle of the show.

The Secret Show deserved a movie, if only because of a 5-10 minute intro of things slowly going wrong in the old ladies show intro.

Got it! Fucking Tele Bugs!

what do you think [CHANGED DAILY]'s name really was?

true canakino

People actually watched this cra-
I CAN'T DO IT

Chainged Deilystein

The guy who forced the kid to melt stinking cheese in a silver plate all the fucking time?
I don't remember him being dressed poorly, he was Napoleonesque, and i also dont remember the kid being an inuit/native

I thought Dragon Tales was really popular with girls and little kids.

John Doe.

Can't get over the fact that kid was some sort of midget adult.

Aw shit, I remember they made another show with the same artstyle and animation.

it shows at the very beginning of the intro how he used to look dude pay attention

so fucking preachy, hated this show so much.

Is this some passive-agressive scheme to force to watch chinkanada animation, buddy?

It's weird how this show came out in 2000, but actually felt like a 90s PBS show.

Did you watched the show, and then forgot about it?

I didn't know it was released in the 2000's? I was very young during the late 90's and early 2000's so I guess they blur together for me.

they just absolutely fucked it with season 2. went from looking kind of badass to looking like a swanky retard made by tumblrinas using flash.

remember that one moment of the 00's when "sekrit guvming spies" became popular and we got a shitton of stupid shows about it?

...

Bucky!
Captain Bucky O'Hare!
He goes where no ordinary rabbit would dare!

...

seriously

You had no cable as well?

Funny how everyone remembers Sam & Max as as a vidya gaem but never remembered that it had a cartoon show.

...

I remember seeing this show, too.

I remember that show as well. Who did the voice of the mom? Her voice seems familiar I wonder if she still got work.

...

I watched robot jones.

I watched all of those but 2 and 5, but I didn't watch 2 and 5 out of personal preference.

That show was nonsense I still watched it though.

This show looks very familiar.

THE LAKE

THE LAKE

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME FIND THE LAKE?

Really? Most remembered it as a tf2 cosmetic item.

I never see this shit posted

Spydogs anyone?

schway

...

I just saw one episode of each one.

What's the middle one called, that robit looks familiar.

As far I know it's about the bible. I think the robot's name is Gizmo.

Superbook

i saw this in some european network in my cable like 3 or 4 years ago at like 2 or 3 am
th quality is very…yeah

Was that from Discovery Kids?

This was a Ouiboo toon based on some Not-Harry-Potter books for girls

Except the coconut whatever watched all of these

Come along take my hand let's all go to dragonland

What was up with the French anyway?

Foreheads

i remember this
Was somewhere in between Winx and W.I.T.C.H

For some reason I didn't like the CGI moments in the show. It looked like a sort of uncanny valley thing and the animations felt kind of stiff. That and they tended to reuse a lot of the same backgrounds for the CGI stuff.

...

thanks, yeah I watched it

Anyone remember Bureau of Alien Detectors (B.A.D.)? While the show wasn't too spectacular. And I think there's a story inconsistency of them trying to keep aliens secret from the public and also what appeared to be a set up for a story arc's that never got concluded. (Which Roswell Conspiracies a few years later would thankfully avert).
The biggest positive I saw is the main characters of the series were all great and skilled in their own unique areas. They made for a cool team.

I saw Space Strikers. It might possibly be first sci-fi series I ever watched as a kid.
Who knew that an unfortunate side effect of being struck by a micro meteor shower may result in you being turned into an evil Darth Vader like cyborg (by the enemy) who now wants you to get revenge against humanity and rule the galaxy.

Why did Nascar even back a cartoon series that nothing like actual Nascar? There's loops and jumps on the track and all the cars have unique special abilities like rocket engines, short flight mode, driving on two wheels or the guy who had a tank turret.

More like a fivehead or sixhead. Has it ever been said why they were designed like that?

...

The hero we deserved.

I did, honestly. I even wrote to the show with my first email.

I find it funny we actually have a What About Mimi board now.

...

...

...

I'll be damned, you're right. i had no idea.
What a world. But hey, I did like the show years ago, too bad the eclusiveboard is mostly lewdness.

sometimes I think that God doesn't exterminate canada because they made EEnE

canadian cartoons are kino

I wanted to fuck Goleeta so bad as a kid

I'm not even British

Most people don't realize it was a comic series before that.

The comic series was my favorite.

Ooh, can anyone make a .gif of the last one?

...

neat

The more I think about it the Nascar cartoon more or less reminds me of those Hotwheel movies.

Cool. Could you do one for the flipbook corners of the Oddity Odyssey?

Drunk user here, I did a full review of the show about two years ago. The reused assets are mostly in the first season and second season. By the fourth, there is hardly any asset reuse and they actually start to use some new camera angles and more complex animation.
Most of your point still stands though. The 2d animation was so much better.

imdb.com/name/nm0005176/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t30

I think we only got season 1 in my country then they took it off the air.

...

Thanks fam.

I remember it as a comic. I'd completely forgotten the cartoon.

Well, it did only last one season

I only remember the episode where they thought Sam's belly was going to explode

Why?

Here's one that I've never heard anyone discuss. I think it was called Skyland or something.
It had an animu art style and came out around the time Avatar was getting popular, so I think they were trying to get some of its popularity. But it was shoved onto Nicktoons rather than Nick and only had one season.

...

I remember that, and I'm pretty sure it had two seasons. The kids dad turned out to be some famous resistance pilot. Also the Empire was stealing people's water.

Skyland

Danny Phantom isn't obscure.

I used to love that shit, but then I realized the bro would never fuck the sis or femZuko. Massive sadness. So did the show have a good and conclusive end or does it just end abruptly like some cockteasing whore?

...

It ends with them rescuing their mother from the villain dude, and I think maybe he dies or something. They don't defeat the empire though.

Well fuck. Do they at least get free water?

I don't remember, but that sounds like something that probably happened. Only other thing I remember is this one off side villain who was trying to combine the powers of tons of psychics so she could force all the islands back together into a proper planet.

...

Generic 00s style vs. generic 00s angular street style

People remember this better than Juniper Lee in my experience. Speaking of which, did one show just straight up steal the pitch from the other? Because fuck they were similar. I think they even had the exact same breed of talking dog.

Wonder how much of that is due to Nostalgia Critic

I think Disney just reran it way more than CN did Juniper Lee. I don't even remember them rerunning Juniper more than a year after it got cancelled but I know American Dragon was on Disney morning and action blocks for a good few years.

I remember they made a flash cartoon with an alien

I've seen at least half of the shows posted

What, Sam & Max?

Different user but I was planning to do it after my finals… That is, if no one does it before me.

Both are shit in their own special ways. Only reason I dislike the right one less is because I can at least understand what he's saying half the time. The other one is always just going "wiggity whack jack" and other weird ghetto slang.

wasnt this show just a ripoff of Avatar?

Season two is cute

I remember being so confused by cel shaded CG, when did that shit first start?

I made a cleaned-up one from the remastered version of the comic

That 1st episode went dark too soon

I'm proud to own the Telltale edition of Surfin' the Highway

British dub > US dub

Yes, but at least it didn't have a shitty sequel series that completely ruined the legacy of the original and the future of the characters.

...

...

Can't remember the name, but I saw like, one/two episodes of it, It was a show about a mouse and a Frankenstein monster, and a mad scientist with a Musicians brain.

I remember that the mouse and monster always wanted gumballs, and that the scientist wanted the monster so he could put the musicians brain inside so that he could continue his work. The musician would usually show thought bubbles with musical chords going on and music playing.

The episode I remember most though is a "time skip" imagine episode where all of them are old with beards. I remember it for the joke they had about the scientist and brain, the scientist was still trying to put the brain in, but it had turned green and instead of music, the brain showed a flatline with the flatline noise playing. Friggin dark for a kids show.

Interesting enough Galactik Footbal got released in the same year, also a French cartoon and had this weird mix of ""traditional"" animation for most scenes and cel shaded CGI for the football matches. For some reason when I first watched it(was 12 back then) I didn't realize the change in animation, like I knew there was a difference in the back of my head, but I never said "oh that's CGI".

If early CG cartoons count, Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles.
Got canceled due to low ratings. I remember waking up at 6AM to watch this and Beast wars.

Came into this thread hoping for Dragon Tales porn and was disappointed.

I had completely forgotten Starship Troopers Chronicles, thanks for the memory.

There isn't much good stuff from what I've seen.

OBAN STAR RACERS

...

...

Still, I don't think many people remember it.

I remember this show! It was fairly popular in my area and it was a darling on Jetix. I miss those times.
I want to go back, just for one say

For me it came on at 1 or 2 a.m. on Toon Disney back when that was a thing, or at least, I think it was before they became Disney XD. Still, the awkward time on a channel not everyone had guaranteed it's obscurity for a little while in my area.

Just watched a couple of episodes a few minutes ago. I'm surprised with how well it has aged. The art style is still pretty rough, but weirdly enough it looks pretty good in motion.

Actually, I suppose back then when something found popularity it doesn't suffer creatively as badly as it does now.

Where does the time go?
