In US libertarianism there was always a form of cognitive dissonance, with them being pro free trade but also politically isolationist.

Globalism means the bourgeoisie class being kings of the world above the law. A bureaucracy with so many laws you are always breaking many of them for the rest of us.
It operates by putting materialism as the only value. You no longer have a right to life or freedom, you only get to survive if you obey like a good slave.
Globalists are megabourgeoisie that can exploit from afar with government backing and are never under threat from those they exploit.
