Thoughts on Liberation Theology, and other left-radical christian movements in general?

As a Christian, pic related if they endorse and utilize violence.

I do love Correa though and wish he had more guts to move beyond socdem.

If they can keep the commune from falling into theocracy then they are good to go

fuck off christcucks

Jesus loves you. :3

I wouldn't mind doing an independent study of Liberation Theology but i also don't know shit about Christianity other than the basic stuff, i'm going to read the bible first but then what afterwards?

Secularism is a plot to further the myth of individualism and further prevent the lower classes any ability to organize with each other

you think individualism is a myth, or secularism makes it's own myth of "individualism"?

The most based form of Christanity

Jesus

Is

Not

Real

Of course he is, we hang out every thursday we're not busy and he makes the BEST chimichangas

Woah I didn't know deadpool browsed leftypol!

Religion will ultimately ruin and corrupt any movement into something authoritarian. It should be used as a comfort for your dying grandma and people with down syndrome. It has no place in a political landscape.

Stalin agrees

religion was the entire structure through which the civil rights movement happened

Secularism is stalinism now? Try harder, christian

Fedoras mad as heck in this thread

They're my comrades.

Remember the sacred words of Jesus:
Communism will win

2nd Timothy 3:1-4

Seems like neoliberalism will win tbh.

The best thing Stalin did was getting rid of religion, it's such a waste of time, haven't you read Dialectical Materialism 101?

Religion will die once full communism is achieved. Supporting the radical left will be your undoing.

Not every radleft is a Bolshevik you know.

That's not what I meant, in a communist society almost no one would freely choose religion. In most socdem states religion is declining and most churches are a social club rather than people who deeply believe. As it turns out having more stability, education, and generally good material conditions makes people less likely to believe in religion, shocking I know.

Oh you again.

No thnx

Doesn't Norway have a Bible belt?

That's your problem not mine, I'm all for ending poverty. Just know that achieveing a socialist society would lead to a lot of empty churches.
