Why user?

Impact gets used a lot on image boards, so I just went with it for most of them. Like I said, I've got all the layers. Suggest a better font.

Just use a different font for each one depending on the context. For example, the Madagascar penguin one could use "Lithos" ( see: adoxographist.wordpress.com/tag/african-font/ ).

Also you don't have to write both "Holla Forums" and "Holla Forums", only one is enough. I usually go with "Holla Forums" because banners represent the website as a whole, and to distinguish us from 4chan (or any other imageboard). And stop using text glow, either don't use glow at all or use "soft" glow (in GIMP it's called Alien Glow), see pic.

The middle one looks the best in the thumbnail. It's the most legible.

It won't look good in every case, especially when all the other text has the same glow… You can make the soft glow stronger and it would give you a similar, but cleaner, effect.

Okay, well I'm going to need consensus on that one. The last time I made banners, someone complained that I DIDN'T have "Holla Forums" on them as well as the Holla Forums logo.

Bottom line: I like the way they look, as is, but I'm open to changing things if it makes them better. If you're just out to complain because your aesthetics don't run that way, then I'll leave them as is and the rest of Holla Forums and the BO can figure out what they like. And if no one likes them, that's fine, too. It's not like I'm losing any money on the deal.

Cool idea, but the execution is just terrible. Having the Holla Forums come out at the top of the image is awful, and it would have worked so much better if it moved with the rest of the image, or was in black to match the text on the image itself.

Redwood was "the niggerest nigger" who used to be a mod on 4/co/. He used to throw fits and delete threads that insulted his favourite shows/cahracters. He'd also make threads then delete/ban posts that disagreed with him.

He was one of Moot's mates from his youth, if I recall. He was literally a nigger, that's not some meme. I do recall there being an image of him at either an animecon or something similar dressed as a Japanese schoolgirl, and it was terrifying.

Anyways, he only got the mod position because he and Moot were best friends. Considering Moot always made jokes about wanting to be a girl and dressed like a bitchboy, everyone assumed they had something going on.

That's about it. Doubt anyone could "storytime" it, but there's a bunch of archives and screencaps of Redwood being a nigger and banning things within seconds, all for free. I'd have to dig back into my folders to find some.

If you're having trouble compressing a GIF then just upload it to EZgif. That's what I did with all my animated banners; I finalized everything and exported the GIF uncompressed then reduced its file size in one click on EZ.

The logo is more the standard Simpsons Yellow. The darker shade of Moe is more due to the low-light scene and cel transfer. I can make a version with a different color, but I hate how I'd have to edit each frame's color for it thanks to how Photoshop does animation for GIFs now.
