This movie was terrible

Zootopia was just as shit, with an extended reference to the god father that most parents are too young to have been around for at this point, a hamfisted plot and then another stupid reference to breaking bad. The entire plot should have been open and shut since 'night howlers' even as a country term would have been picked up on by someone if they did two seconds of research. The pacing is retarded, with the rabbit having 2 days to get a job done, only for it to be 1 day a few hours later, unless a brief nighttime trip went for several hours longer than indicated. Its the usual sporadic pace and if it wasn't Disney I would immediately think it was one of those Dreamworks movies where they make them in such a way they can be chopped up into 20-30 minute '4-D experiences' at theme parks by cutting out all the needless chuff.

Like they took a script for a cliched movie about a farmboy and his family in the American West who gets washed down a river and finds a wolf puppy, and just replaced all mention of humans with dinosaurs and dogs with cavemen. Just to market it as a dinosaur movie to kids.

Nobody said it's amazing. But it's still decent and better than zooshit, wherever else disney farted out recently and other 3D sperg outs. I don't expect more than what you described from western animation and yet it still manages to let me down so when we have even some decently generic status quo it's a progress. But then even that is overshadowed by pure autism so we can't have even that. Woe is yiff.
