Holla Forums news sources

Where does Holla Forums get its news? I don't just mean mainstream sources. Where do you find out about the stories that the mainstream won't talk about?

ITT recommend sites you use and generally talk about where and how you get news.

Avoid anything mainstream from the US, unless you want to rage, then watch a Fox talk show. Sometimes you'll hear unironic Holla Forums reasoning from the same MSM that supposedly oppresses them.

WSWS can be quite useful but it's run by perpetually butthurt Trots so take personal views of editors with a grain of salt.

For a steadier stream of useful info, try to network on Twatter for a bit. You'll find some decent guys that share good stuff regularly.

We should know what MSM is talking about to stay aware of what their talking points are and where they're moving towards in terms of rhetoric.

I just set up an RSS reader on my new phone. Give me some class-conscious sources I can populate it with.

For news I go to Politico, Guardian and Al Jazeera but honestly nowadays I just have my little Twitter bubble where I get news + opinions + memes + red pill on the news being reported all at once.

For opinions I go to a shitload of places.

Jacobin, the Nation, the North Star, Dissent, Socialist Review, Novara Media, Red Pepper, Voltaire Network, Viewpoint Magazine, CounterPunch, WSWS, In Defence of Marxism.

danke

added all of them, except Socialist Review didn't show up.

stimulator.tv/submedia

by the way what are some good academid journals with longer reads?
i know New Left Review and some London Review of Books articles

Le Monde Diplomatique is pretty good. I haven't read them since the beginning of the year though, but their analysis and reports are often interesting and original.
I think I will buy their next issue because I'm curious of what they have to say on Brexit.
You can find some free articles on a dozen of languages I think on their websites too.

Democracy Now

WSWS and l'Humanite are my current reads

Here's a new one about China, it's a Journal but they also have a blog that is updated more regularly:

chuangcn.org

There's also Monthly Review, which is a classic, and I've been getting into Telos recently

maoist rebel news is pretty good

no srsly tho just use TYT (aka fox news for leftists) and teleSUR, and maybe russia today.
jacobin and bunkermag are good but theyre dont seem concerned with recent world events

Deutsche Welle English appears to be the most non-partisan news source I've seen.

Of course, there's a difference between news media and analysis, and analysis sources are a very different beast indeed.

Russia Today :^)

socialist.net/ - UK site

socialistappeal.org/ - US site

Probably the best socialist news source ever.

Fox News and Alex Jones

The Intercept, Counterpunch and Twitter are usually where I check first.

Daily Stormer

Holla Forums

boy who would have guessed

npr, nytimes, fox news

everyone has an agenda so there's no point in only reading/watching one side.

npr is probably the least biased imo.

wsws

lol what the fuck is a newspaper? Do people print the news on paper? Everyday? That sounds wasteful as fuck
