An earlier leak showed that earlier this year, Hillary wanted Trump, Carson or Cruz to win because she thought they would be easier to beat (which is what many other leftists were saying around the time). She referred to them as Pied Piper candidates and wanted the media to promote these guys. She did not take into consideration that Trump would be charismatic enough to still bring in people and be hard to beat.

1. There was none; those big encrypted files were bluffs/fake
2. The switch hasn't gone off yet… maybe it takes some time
3. Whoever infiltrated wikileaks was able to disable it from firing

Really impossible to know anything… we just have to judge for ourselves how things go. If they destroy their credibility and we never hear from Assange again, we'll likely assume they were compromised.

We don't know the extent of that action – whether it was limited to leaning on Ecuador or whether the Wikileaks twitter and website were simultaneously compromised – and we have no way to confirm Wikileaks as the source without Assange. We do, however, know the political bias of the intervening State, so if the leaks they're releasing start (((conveniently))) implicating their opponent, Donald Trump, we'll know why, and we'll be able to clearly articulate the reason why the other leaks were valid and why these, or portions of these, are suspect, depending on their contents.

Given the limited time they have left before the election, and their total inability after numerous attempts to discredit Wikileaks in full, if they did anything, I would expect them to sneak a few massively damaging Trump emails into another leak and hope they can maneuver people into a false dichotomy of either dismissing the leaks in full or accepting whatever they manufacture about Trump, and it's critical that we're able to sidestep that, discredit those specific emails because of the possible man in the middle, and continue hammering home the rest of the leaks. It's far harder to manufacture 1000 fake email chains than it is to insert a couple juicy fake ones to an otherwise authentic 1000 real email leak – See: the BritAM leak, with its one "let's use chemical weapons on Syrian citizens and false flag as Assad's forces" email, substantiated by however many other emails about absolutely fucking nothing.

Yes, someone else is running it, Assange's internet access was cut, we don't know if he has phone access. If they are compromised though we get the word out early before too many counter measures are taken.
