This will take a long time, be warned. VP9 is slow but god damn is it good.

Yeah, mine looks a little more like that. Only difference is I set -b:v to 0k and tweak my quality with crf. You'll get much better quality relative to size with it. You may have to do some mental math while it encodes to make sure you don't overshoot. Also if the video is in the 8+ minute range, you will probably have to use 32k for audio quality.
