Putin and Erdogan call for an end to the Syrian war

Another great move by Obama to lose Turkey as an ally. Its not like the country holds any kind of strategic significance or anything…

Fuck off back to Reddit you collosal faggot. Filtered.

Gee this doesn't feel like a set up.

Fuck off cuck

kek. Turks are backstabbing roaches by design. The only reason they're in NATO is because burgerclaps and yropoors wanted to save a few bucks on mission sorties bombing everything around roachistan.

Now that turks fulfilled their purpose as gas station and open gate which flooded yrop with millions of shitskins, they are dropping them and putin takes up the pieces and larps alliance.

My guess is that the coup a few months ago was Western backed.

Very good. Let's put an end to this Obama legacy.

You will hang the first, first poster.

faggots gonna fag

If Trump knew what he was doing in the Middle East he wouldn't have picked Pence to be his running mate.

Of course it was, that's why Erdogan immediately started Putin's dick afterwards and started his campaign in Syria. The Russians told him about the coup, he managed to stay in power, and now has to play nice until he sees an opportunity for backstabbing.

I thought it was a coup created by Erdogan himself since he fired government officials and judges that didn't seem related to a coup at all. Also because it was a very embarrassing and half assed attempt at a coup. Maybe the US is just getting incompetent.

...

this is my issue with the "western backed coup" theory
It makes a lot more sense if the coup was made by Erdogan to strengthen his position and as an excuse to fire the secular military officials.

What would have been the reason of NATO to take him out? he was already subservient to their position and just wanted carte blanche to kill Kurds (which is much less than other countries have asked in the past).
As I see it, maybe he was asking for too much money when it came to the refugees deal, and European Countries wanted someone that was much more passive and manipulable.

Erdogan is a loose end and incompatible with the long term goals of Israel and Saudi Arabia. Something recently made him go to Russia and beg, unless he's going by a plan he made on his own.

Refugee money makes sense. But he's also a renegade who pits the EU and Shanghai Cooperation Organisation against each other to get the best deals for Turkey. He's not fully on the EU train and constantly flirts with Asian cooperation. When the EU nixed the new Russian pipeline via Bulgaria Erdogan made a deal for it to go through Turkey. This must have pissed off the EU, US and NATO elites massively. NATO was probably ready to blame the coup on Russia.

Russia's alliance with Turkey effectively blocks all Eastern pipeline routes to Europe that aren't under their control. Europe is increasingly dependent on Gas because they have rejected nuclear after Fukashima, rejected coal due to global warming and renewables cannot support the whole grid. They are increasingly beholden to Ruskis.

He already did a 180° by the time of the coup, he publicly apologized for the fighter downed, was having meeting with Russians and Iranians, etc…

Basically he was all for it at first using mainly FSA and cie as proxies (even having side deals with IS) in Syria to gain oilfields, but it changed after a bunch of bombings by IS + Russian tourist sanction which essentially killed Turkey touristic industry which account for a shitload of the economy + full fledged Kurd rebellion while he had made some serious, work, progress and concession almost pacifying them for real. Then recall that Erdo career lives on stability.

Add the fact that the Russian intervention of fall 2015 did completely reverse the battlefield, with SAA slowly mowing down the rebellion. Meaning it's only a matter of time until SAA wins.
Then the fact that out of desperation by the turnabout the US started arming the PYD (which is just the PKK: Syria edition) and encouraged them to cross the Euphrates which was a big fucking red line of the Turks and there is no doubt that Erdogan was about to change side and cuts it's loses.

And then an EXTREMELY VIOLENT coup happened, his hotel was bombed and there was a firefight that left some of his bodyguard dead (nearly all the newspapers in Turkey, Russia and Iran say he avoided getting murdered because the Russian warned him, some go has far to claim it's a spetsnaz team that got him out, possibly one of the SAR teams they have in Syria and that his hiding place was a Russian consulate), the parliament was bombed, plane were shot down the Turkish army mowed down people with .50cals. And then Erdo and his cabinet directly accused the US to have been trying to kill him… (IE worst case of diplomatic incident known to man). That's not something you stage for… for what? Purging? Erdo purged the army and the police on two separate occasion, the journalists and judges on a third… And he's still there. People voted him in repeatedly EXACTLY for that.
That's the thing that doesn't make sense.

So yeah there is little doubt that the coup was backed by the US, and that it was probably rushed because of some reasons or another (the reason given is that they were going to get purged anyway so they had to move quickly).

Or you know, he doesn't plan on dying.

The CIA-backed Gulenist coup. Erdowan was waffling - Turkstream will bring in a lot of shekels - but that's what sent him full bromance with Russia.

Even more the Turkish stream will be a double pipeline (while originally the Turks wanted a single line, because double means massive expropriations, etc…), meaning that they basically agreed to everything the Russians wanted.

Also there are lots of rumors down the tubes that China is gonna step up. They're the ones most of Syria oil was exploited by originally.

It's said that Russia is working on a sharing agreement for the air and naval base with them (that could be announced by the end of the week at a BRICS summit).

A single pipeline would have meant the Turks would export as much gas as the Russians (14M each). A double pipeline means that it's gonna be 75% of Russian gas coming out of it.

why does Holla Forums still pretend like obama makes any decisions for himself as the president?

Very nice post, I think that you got it right. I read somewhere that Erdogan was being used by the USA as an useful idiot to go into war with Russia, but he realized that he was being played after he got no help from NATO when Turkey shot down the russian plane. He probably stopped doing what the USA wanted and that's why they attempted the coup.
