So apparently everyone suddenly cares about illegal immigrants and feel they deserve the right to be here for 17+ years without even trying to become a citizen.

What will be the next flavor?

Allowing convicted child molesters to work in daycares. That's the progressive thing to do.

>not a word about changing (((immigration))) law

It's amazing that they cannot make a disconnect between illegal aliens and mexican immigrants. To them it is completely interchangeable, probably due to how they've slowly been acclimated to saying "illegal immigrants" and then "undocumented citizens" without them even realizing what they were hearing.
There is no such thing as an undocumented citizen, if you're a citizen you have documents.
There is no such thing as an illegal immigrant, if you're here illegally you are a foreign invader.
Call them what they are, illegal aliens. The fact that people advocate for the acceptance of illegal aliens flooding into the country to leech off social benefits meant for tax paying citizens encapsulates how retarded the masses have become, they haven't thought about what's going to happen when they're old and decrepit and there's no more money in welfare or social security or social programs like fire fighters and police, because illegals sucked it fucking dry to feed their children, send their children to school on government scholarships, get food stamps, free housing, all while living tax free, now they have the fucking gall to say it's UNFAIR that either they become a citizen and be held responsible as such or get deported back to the shithole they crawled out from. What's unfair is that we the taxpayers have been paying for THEIR free ride, well the bus stops here, it stops now, and they need to get the fuck off because they didn't pay the bus fare.

I'd never heard the term "undocumented citizen" until your post. I searched for it, in quotes, and apart from it being used by one journalist and a couple of pro-immigration groups on college campuses, all of the mentions of it were in fringe right-wing media. So, you're correct that it's a nonsensical term, but nobody is "acclimated to" saying it. It appears to be something that a few people on the far left are pushing and a few people on the far right are getting hysterical about. Ho hum.

It's true that the term "undocumented worker" or "undocumented person" has become common among people who think that "illegal immigrant" carries an unnecessary stigma.

Incorrect. The term "immigrant" is a value-neutral term. To immigrate is to "move to" a place, just as to emigrate is to "move from" a place. Illegal immigrant is an acceptable term. Illegal alien is accurate, too, but the term has fallen out of use even with anti-immigration people.

Welfare is a small portion of the discretionary Federal budget, and a minuscule portion of the overall Federal budget. The two biggest threats to Social Security are demographic problems (the baby boomers are going to drain the program), and the fact that many Republicans want to privatize and/or destroy the program. Illegals put more into Social Security than they take out.

Fire and police departments aren't social programs.

"Government scholarships"? lol

It's almost impossible to live "tax free", whether you're illegal or not. If an illegal owns a house, they pay property tax. If they rent, their landlord pays property tax out of their rent. Property taxes help fund the schools to which the illegals send their kids, btw. And their kids are citizens anyway if they were born here. They pay sales tax every time they make a purchase in states that have sales tax, which is most of them. And unless they're getting paid strictly under the table in cash, they pay Federal and state income tax, Medicare, unemployment, etc., because it's taken out of their check before they even see it.

What the fuck are you even saying here? Most DACA recipients, for example, want to become citizens. You're verging on incoherence.

Really, the problem is that neither Democrats nor Republicans are serious about solving the problem of illegal immigration, but for different reasons. In many states and districts, Democrats rely on the non-white/immigrant vote to stay in office. Many Republicans, on the other hand, are soft on illegal immigration because businesses of all sizes like having a flexible, cheap labor force that's not likely to report labor violations. McCain is soft on immigration, for example, because Arizona agriculture depends heavily on illegal migrant farm labor. Same in California. A lot of the agricultural areas in California are Republican, and elect Republican representatives, but those Republicans are usually soft on immigration because the agribusinesses and producers in their districts depend on illegal labor.

The illegal immigration problem could be solved with the following steps:
1. End jus soli citizenship rights.
2. Regardless of what happens to the so-called "DREAMERS", make it a matter of law that no amnesty will ever occur again for people in that situation. That would discourage people from bringing their children here in the hope that they might benefit from another amnesty in 20 years.
3. Pursue and prosecute visa overstays more aggressively. Many illegal immigrants who are here actually came in legally on visas of various types, but then stayed after their visa expired.
4. Increase enforcement and penalties for employers who knowingly hire illegals. If a business owner is looking at 10 years in Federal prison for each illegal he hires, he's much less likely to hire them. Fewer jobs=fewer illegals.
5. Increased enforcement on the southern border is necessary. Notice I say "enforcement", not "walls". Walls can be gone over or around, and oftentimes under. There are tons of tunnels under existing sections of wall, fence, and border checks.

Most of this stuff isn't going to happen.

Then you must have been living under a rock for the last 12 years.

Tor posters are the worst kind of retards.

They're not "undocumented citizens" they're Mexican citizens.

Feel free to post examples that demonstrate that the term has been in common use for 12 years.

...

We're all illegal immigrants

Indians had no laws against Europeans coming here.

Besides, a lot of Americans have at least a little Indian blood. 'Cause they didn't have any laws against us fuckin' that squaw pussy, either!

.....

I fucking hate that image
Native Americans were literally fighting eachother for territory long before Europeans showed up. We established our borders and they didn't do jack shit

I FUCKING LOVE THAT INFOGRAPHIC! IT GIVES OUT PILLS AS RED AS THIS POST! AS A Holla Forums OLDFAG I WISH WE COULD HAVE MORE REDPILLED THINGS SUCH AS THIS.

Cry moar and stop getting your history lessons from Wikipedia soyboy none of you people here are native to this land so stfu and stop crying about immigrants

You have to go back kike

For better or worse, we rekt their civilization, the country now belongs to Americans. It's not about moral equivalency. If we as a people decide we want to do something, and can enforce it, that's the way it works.

I want to turn US into an open borders country and enforce it by deporting those against this to an ecuatorian country.

Well, get the majority vote then.

What exactly would be the practical advantage of open borders other than "feelz" for taking in people from "shithole countries"?

economic wealth and prosperity, like what our found fathers wanted

1) Open borders
2) ????
3) economic wealth and prosperity

You're missing step 2. Given the extreme concentration of wealth in this country, I'm pretty sure that would drive wages down.

This. I'm not even going to give the other faggots the dignity of a (You).
