Pick something you like that includes social gatherings of some sort, and go gather. Examples include: tabletop gaming–go to a game shop, sports–go to a sports bar, etc. You can also try out organizations that are meant for socialization. Go join the Elks Club, or Masons, or whathaveyou. Church, if you can stand it. Just do SOMETHING.
