I have been noticing a trend on all the boards of Holla Forums, which you should be typing in the address as 8ch.net httpS←-

that there are tons of data gathering threads disguised as "I'm bored so whats all your info".

here are a few examples of data gathering threads. you don't think they are building a profile on you? this is disgusting.

one of the biggest reasons why shills are using datamining tactics is because they want to destroy anonimity. It's that simple. this all goes back to what became of 4chan. namefags. goons. globalist agent involvement in chan website history. the constant infiltration of our very culture. the invisible war. we are percieved as a threat. they expected gamergate to be their final killing blow upon us, but it backfired. now donald trump is president of the united states of america. we are on the winning side and it's our job to root out evil by simply telling the truth. the truth needs no lie to support it. the truth needs no propaganda. truth is easy and simple because you just have to tell it like it is. that's who we are and that's what we do.

WE WILL NOT FEAR AN INFINITE NUMBER OF SHILLS THAT SURROUND US.

If you disagree, there is no shortage of web forums more to your liking, so why don't you shills go fuck off and go use them where you can be judged by a name and not the merit of your argument? because there's no good discussion there. they need to come here where they will have an audience.

This is a link to a thread where the Holla Forums mods deleted a huge portion of the OP information. I would like to believe that it was a harmless joke. I would really like to. it only serves to fuel my paranoia about what we are facing here. it fuels my paranoia but also fuels my desire to dig deeper and function as a tool for the truth why would they not simply change the red text as a joke, rather than deleting all the information listed in the OP just to add one line of red text?

yet another shill tactic being used is a slightly more recent rehash of the "reddit namecalling" trick where a shill attempts to discredit a user. basically it's a slightly longer fake story of "le reddit newfag go back" meme where they try to convince others to believe the story by adding more fabricated details. basically by saying something like this:

beware the number chart data mining scam. in this scam phone numbers are broken up into different threads asking for the first three digits in one thread and the last four digits in another to see who had the most "phone dubs". this is done to connect IP addresses to phone numbers to make doxxing much easier for shills

the shills now even more desperate after having been exposed over and over again have failed in their attempts to discredit, downplay, and eradicate the knowledge of their lies and tricks by switching tricks to poorly compensate for their constant failures. they have now made up yet another pathetic sore loser trick out of even further desperation. the shills are now datamining themselves (with fabricated information of course) and intentionally NOT asking for stories, names, or any other information because they believe that this will trick others into giving their information freely since they are not being directly asked for it in an obvious fashion.

basically in this thread, OP and about 90% of the posters are all the same person, or a group of people working together to create a narrative and the illusion of there being many anonymous posters participating in the thread all at once. if you have some experience with shills you know this thread is basically a giant fabricated conversation designed to get other people (who are not in on the entrapment scam) to reply to the thread because they believe that all the other posters are genuine. if you read the thread carefully you can see it's loaded with bad advice also aimed towards the innocent thread browser. shills really enjoy giving people information that lures them into a false sense of security. shills and other dishonest people do this to other innocent people in real life constantly, not just on the internet.
