Yes. I especially noticed this with mainstream things like YT and FB. Before like 2013 FB was actually a pretty fun place to post. They had that groups feature, and you could also follow and post on a page's comment section as if they were forum posts. Which was a lot of fun getting to interact with different sects of people on weird topics. There was this page called Conspiracy Watch that had about a million likes and the comment sections were on fired with every post. That was back when your like count meant something to your interactions on the posts. So you had a million lunatics, boomers, teenage girls, and people like me, all arguing and posting nonsense and it was a lot of fun.

But then street shitters and Brazilian mongrels started to use the site more and more. They made these places very lowest common denominator. Of course zucc and jewgle took advantage in the drop in average iq and ruined the platforms. It's fucking impossible to even follow things you want to follow on FB now. All these sites are now designed to be consumption engines. You're not meant to be hanging around a comment section, you're meant to be interacting with as much content as possible. So the people who are not completely retarded and at least subconsciously realize that these sites suck seek out something different. They go to reddit, or half chan, or whatever. Places they shouldn't be but they're internet savvy enough and they want to have direct interactions, not just consume content. But they're dumb normies already infected with those inclinations so they come here and ruin this. At least that's my theory as to why you see halfchan memes all over FB and twitter. They come here, but of course can't abandon their precious social media.
