The fact of the matter is that in modern western society and I could argue almost every other society throughout history, but that's another topic women are much more powerful than men.

For one thing, do you want to have an influence on your grandchildren, or not? Because if you have a son, there's a very good chance his wife will take the kids and all his possessions and earnings and never let him actually parent them. Of course this means you'll also never get to see your grandchildren. And on top of that, could you stand to see your son suffer with the life of the modern western man? Openly hated and shunned at every turn? I couldn't.

I want the best life for my child, and it's a simple objective fact that women have better, longer, safer lives. They are given every advantage in life, with every major institution openly discriminating in their favor, and of course I'd want my child to have every advantage in life.

Now I know some dumb faggot who thinks he's a chad despite being on a taiwanese wood carving imageboard is gonna respond by getting offended that I just pointed out that women have better lives. But note that I'm not saying they're better people, quite the opposite. This is where having a daughter can be honorable. You can do your part to try to create at least one good woman. She'll get the advantages of being a woman, or at least most of them, and thus extend your influence into the future, but you can try to teach her to not abuse her power and actually try to make the world a better place.

Now some more observant of you may have noticed that I already contradicted myself, I already said that men have a very difficult time actually parenting their children in today's society, because it is made so easy for the mother to simply take the kids and ruin the father's life, let alone the kids' lives. So basically you need to find a way to have a daughter without another parent in the picture. I mean theoretically you could pretend to be gay I know most of you faggots won't need to pretend and do a gay adoption, but you have to not only find a guy who agrees with your parenting style, which as I've described is obviously unorthadox, you also have to find a guy you trust completely, because while he might not be able to take the kid as easily as if he were a woman, a divorce could still fuck her up good, and totally ruin your parenting plans.

But there are solutions. Did you know it actually is legal for single people, including men, to adopt children? Needless to say, it isn't easy, but most western jurisdictions are not legally allowed to discriminate against you based on gender or marital status, at least in the matter of if you are allowed to adopt or not. However, they can judge based on these factors when it comes to pairing you up with specific children. So it is very hard, but still possible. Also possible is surrogacy, which is probably the best option for most of you (though due to health reasons may not work for everybody, including myself), simply due to it being easier to do, even though it's a shame that the fucked up adoption system would rather keep needy kids in foster care while encouraging prospective parents to turn to surrogacy instead.

But of course even after you get the kid you need to be careful, because as a single father, society will be out to get you, accusing you of child molestation and whatnot. I mean I did joke about it at the beginning of this post. But I think I'd do my best to put up with it if it could mean that I could have a kid that could have a relatively comfortable life with a powerful influence on the future that I could nurture to ensure she grows up to be a woman that is actually a good person, which is far to rare otherwise.

Yeah this is a good point, I don't mean to imply a parent is the only influence on a kid's life. What I was getting at was describing a few ways to minimize unwanted influence. Unfortunately school is tough to deal with, unless you wanna make her a weirdo that does home schooling. But you know maybe that's not such a bad idea anymore. A parent can strongly influence a kid's media consumption, though. Just most parents these days don't give a shit, and if they do, they don't think about how to do it properly. The trick isn't brute forcing your way and just banning them from everything you don't like. It's positive reinforcement of things you do like, and mercilessly mocking them for liking things you think are stupid. My loli is my hobby. The trick is getting her to like what you like. This is easy if you're the type of childish loser like me who goes on this site, as you likely enjoy cartoons and video games and comic books, things all aimed at kids. Work and career are the same thing, and it happens while she's at school, at least for most people. School is the biggest problem, but I've already thought this through. If you become a teacher you can be around her even at work for at least one out of 12 years. The tough part is figuring out when you want these years to be. If you do kindergarten then maybe you can cover two years (Junior and Senior Kindergarten), but if you do high school you can maybe be there an hour or two (out of six) per day for four years. Tough decision, with a lot of different factors at play. Both are influential times in her life, but they are very different times. Additionally, being a teacher also gets you some points for the adoption process. Already started this, I should have my teaching certificate by next year.

You basically just need to mediate the media consumed by your child, and be attentive to what's going on in school, so you can balance this out with your own lessons at home. Not saying it's easy, but might be worth a shot.

All this planning, conditioning and effort could be spent on other things if you just had a son instead of a daughter.
