Man this show was the tits. So much action, dark moments, serious character development, and a menacing villain. It's a shame it didn't catch on. The cartoon industry could've been so much more different with shit like this being what's popular.

The fact that the new blood from tumblr/reddit/4chan thinks that western animation has waifus is just proof of how bad this board has gotten in recent months.

Imagedumping and sharing is great when it's of things that are actually nice, but the same 30 pictures of a particular character being reposted is not nice at all.

Remember those cheesecake threads? Those were the same as porn dumps in essence, but they were filled with content that was both on topic to the board and relatively hard to find, when compared with generic porn that can be found in any booru or image host.

Really like this show. Shame it's so obscure. I always saw it as a good blend of funny, weird, and serious. Plus the voice acting was pretty good.

This show could get scary at times.

I remember A Man Named Krinkle and Incident on Ranger 7 where genuinely scary, especially when the enemy they fight is not some eldritch thing or a monster but a insane human inspired by Norman Bates.

AMNK also ends up with a really dark but realistic note, it was kinda tragic but the team did what had to be done.

I love it when cartoons get dark and real sometimes. Don't baby kids so much. Kids like to be scared and challenging them with harsh truths sometimes grows them as people. A dirty joke here and there among shitty randumb humor isn't what cuts it. We need serious but fun shows like this again.

To be honest if I'm allowed to gush about one western cartoon it's going to be Courage. I FUCKING LOVE THAT SHOW SO MUCH.

Yes! Exactly! Courage scared kids constantly. That's what made it memorable. The scares, the monsters, the music, and the occasional deep stories. Courage was great because of all those things. Only thing I'd love more than mature action cartoons would be more horror cartoons like Courage.

As a music nut I always love the music aspect. I think the most used are the funeral tune to give hint that something doesn't feel right or the banjo tune when when things are good. There's also part when he use a choir when Courage went to the bayou to save Muriel. He even use rare musical instruments like Javanese Gamelan set when Muriel went to a hotspring to heal her back.

Oh man that can be considered an average episode of Courage but it's still bring back a lot of memories. The musics are perfect even the final part when a harmonica played on the radio.

I noticed that Eustace voice change. His voice is a bit heavier here. But the voice actor did admirable job. My critique is that his quote "I will find a new love one!" is a bit off character. Sure he's greedy and cruel to Muriel but deep down he still loves her.

Not really, aside him being brought back with a new color scheme.

Since the CGI pilot is that true to the original Courage series, I'm hoping CN brings it back, even if it's just a single short season. It'd be better quality than everything else they have out there at the moment.

The CGI is fine but it's kinda falling apart a little bit when Courage said "The things I do for love!" and you noticed that they failed to animate his mouth. I prefer the old 2D style, just upgrade them a little bit.

Because they are acting like moral guardian no one need. That place was supposed to be a joke and people linked their reviews for cheap laugh at how naive they are. But some parents actually rely on these reviews. They are the one who treat their little demons as special snowflakes.

To be fair the first season was basically just monster of the week battle. Even if the later seasons were still monster of the week, at least they were traveling somewhere, or finding something. In the first season they stay in the city, the monster arrives, they defeat it, and go back to their "normal" lives.
