Most Marxists nowadays espouse ideas that the left establishment would abhor (which is why the vast majority of them haven't actually read works by Hegel, Marx, etc). Antonio Negri's work on "Empire" was especially good, since the book was just one big critique on social justice (he calls this the identity fight), the civil rights struggle and feminism. For Negri all of those things are just elements of a wider imperialist strategy to divide and conquer. Levi Strauss made the point also that culture and ethnicity are important and that to blend them all into a melting pot and erase them would be a huge loss. Even Adorno made the point that now culture is an industry in the world (literally known as culture industry), where popular culture is now being produced similar to how a goods are made in a factory and that these goods are especially made to manipulate a population into docile and passive behavior, no matter how bad things are.

Going even further with this, people like Zizek are now just memes for the left. They don't really care about his ideas, all they care about is his fame and celebrity status amongst the left. All Zizek does is add some semblance of intellectual and scholarly thinking to their wider political umbrella. Socialism wasn't always synonymous with marxism, and not all forms of it are necessarily bad. Capitalism can be defined as an economical system designed to allow private entities to generate as much capital as possible on the grounds that more capital in the economy = better lives for everyone. Socialism can be defined as an economical system designed to directly benefit the interests of common people.

National socialism still allowed private entities to generate capital, but it placed restrictions against the sort of kikey bullshit that people always complain about in a capitalist system. The number one restriction, and probably the defining economic trait of national socialism, was the prohibition of usury, also known as charging interest.

That's right, every loan was interest-free in national socialist Germany, just like it usually was in Medieval Christendom. If you wanted to loan out money, you had to agree upon a fixed value to be payed back to you rather than an interest rate, and you weren't allowed to rip off the person you were loaning to.

This lowered the price of just about everything so, when paired with a little nationalization of some public utilities, the prohibition of usury enabled the government to charge some very low taxes. National socialist Germany was an economic miracle because it put more money in the hands of common people, and it didn't restrict the ability of private businesses to make make money themselves.

Marxist economics are retarded for a number of reasons. Gottfried Feder, the number one economic guy in Hitler's think tank, compared it to curing a sick patient by cutting off his arms and legs and head, and with good reason. If you want to talk about marxism as it exists in real life, the government is only one entity, and it can't be expected to efficiently generate and distribute enough capital to support the people adequately. Shit like the holodomor happened because the extremely inefficient process of redistributing food throughout the USSR took years to hit Ukraine, and during that time nobody was allowed to grow food because otherwise that'd go against the marxist theories. That's a big problem with marxist socialism: it demands ideological purity, to the point where its practitioners will kill people for going against the theories. The USSR did get better about this as time went on, but National socialism is much more concerned with reality than with theories.

If you want to talk about marxism as it exists in pure theory, aka "true communism(TM)," there is no way to prevent heirarchies from forming without a government, which creates a heirarchy. It's literally impossible outside of small communes, and that's why the government of the USSR was never able to dissolve like it was originally intended to. National socialism is, as I said, concerned with reality, and it therefore doesn't try to enforce impossible conditions onto society or dangle them before it.

As far as I have read, and what other Natsocs have said, that the economic system should be a means to a greater end, and that the system should adapt which ever way to maintain its purpose of achieving that greater end. It seem that the "Socialist" model is really a philosophical point (economically serving the in group), rather than a structural point. Thats good and all, and even the more "capitalist" (for lack of a better word) types here would agree to that in principal. I would say economically we are all tribal and protectionist to varying degrees. We want to see economic prosperity for domestic populations while being guarded and competitive in favor of our own people in foreign trade. The question is how you get there, and which economic system is the most accurate to reality (and thus works best to serve the people). That is really what the argument should be.

But when you have that type of discussion, it seems like everyone goes back to those same post-enlightenment divides of "socialist in the marxist sense" and "capitalist in the marxist sense" and arguing over terms, intentions, and jewishness. When what you should be arguing over is which economic policy or system is most reflective of reality and thus ultimately which will be the most beneficial to the people.

I think the terms socialist and capitalist should be dropped from the vocabulary for something that reflects a new economic spectrum that is more of the essence of what we are talking about. Something that comments on market based solutions vs centralized based solutions that avoids the marxist influence.

Artificially setting the price of money at zero is a great way to destroy your economy. It was the reason that medieval Europe was dirt poor and almost completely bereft of currency. All the gold and silver flowed away to areas where money was treated better.

Interest drives capital growth, and is what allows things like pensions to exist. Setting rates to zero is analogous to putting old people in a wood chipper.

You could still profit off of loans by agreeing upon a fixed amount to receive back from the loan; you just couldn't hold people in bondage for years upon years upon years to your loan with interest.

Real value isn't generated by usury anyway. Real value is generated by goods and services. Capital generated from interest is more or less capital generated from nothing, which is obviously unsustainable. Ending usury means that the amount of currency depends solely upon the labor of the people, which makes a currency backed by labor. In a system that allows usury, the value of currency will constantly go down as inflation skyrockets out of control to fulfill the need for more paper to pay off interest, as it's doing in the west right now, and it will be a true fiat currency backed by nothing.

And Medieval Europe was hardly dirt-poor. You can go look any one of thousands of fabulous palaces and cathedrals still standing today for proof of that. It's just that feudalism doesn't exactly put money in the hands of the common man. If it wasn't quite as wealthy as it is now, that's because common people weren't allowed to generate wealth, and private enterprise was nigh-nonexistent.
