So under communism, I would be allowed to work at any job I want, correct? But why would I do this if all of my needs were provided for? Furthermore, who would work the shitty jobs no one wants to work? What if everyone just refuses to work, your precious little communist Utopia would collapse in no time.

It's 2016 how stupid do you have to be to believe any of this? Not even trolling.

also it's always a laff when propertycucks try to argue that there needs to be forced incentives to do work and that they believe in a free society at the same time

Hey now, that's assuming you survive being sent to the gulag because the latest Ten Year Plan fucked up, or being put up against the wall because your interpretation of how to best achieve a Communist society differs slightly from the cadre that won the bloody struggle for control of the Party

In FullCommunism robots do the shit.
In socialism, you have to work. And, unless you can do a higher "quality" job, you'll be doing the shit.

BUT! More people means less workhours, same pay.

It's current year, why have unemployed while other are over-working? Not even trolling.

op is a retard that had seriously never heard of a robot before

You can say the exact same about capitalism. In both communism and capitalism you need work to survive, so obviously people are gonna work so they can live.

But, even if all needs were provided for without a single person having to work, people would still work on their own accord because people like working. People want to make something of their lives and very few people want to sit around and do nothing forever. In fact it's been shown this can cause mental health issues in unemployed people today for example.

We get asked these questions a lot, we have seen them a thousand times and we have refuted them a thousand times.

Lurk more.

Sorry about your asspain buddy but this isn't a central tenant of communism. Marx just speculated it would become feasible at some point after society is allowed to develop peacefully for some time and achieve material abundance.

No you faggots, you don't work, you don't eat. Everyone in communism will work, robots or not work, parasitism should not be tolerated as it is in capitalism.

Each according to his abilities = what he is trained to do from birth, the profession of his aptitude.

Each according to his needs = the collective commune provides for the health of its other members, and feeds those who cannot fully provide for themselves, such as cripples, and those with other health issues (however, completely non-productive people such as the retards will be sterilised)

...

a better question would be, why do you believe the jews run the world?

SO ITS THE CURRENT YEAR AMIRITE

jesus christ Holla Forums is filled with irony

Nice strawman. Read Culture of Critique and you'll understand why that question is stupid.

that isn't a strawman you stupid fucker

another proof Holla Forums is near mentally retarded

nice spook

You spelled book wrong

It's amazing how flexible the religion of communism is. After every attempt to implement it failed because people just didn't bother working, now we have "LOL ROBOTS WILL SAVE US". Bravo.

It fell because of bureaucratization and state capitalist centralized planning that stagnated the economy. Russians in the Soviet Union were more hard working than they are today.

It in fact capitalism which does not motivate people to work hard enough, since most people work bullshit menial jobs no one needs.

define "needs".

Why would stuff be provided to you if no one works? Why wouldn't you work on something and reap the benefits?

He who does not work, does not eat. Your needs are provided for because you are a active member of society.

wow look at me I'm Holla Forums and I read a lot lol :))

It's an interesting argument, for sure, but I'd need some harder evidence for his claims- if you have sources, I'd be interested in seeing them. I don't have a ton of corporate experience, but from how I understand it, higher-ups tend to spend significantly less time doing "productive work" but end up shouldering larger responsibilities for decisions that they make.

Large responsibilities, like having to fire the workers if thing don't go well?

For a start, here's a video on what motivates us. Goes against the grain of "conventional wisdom."
