Depends on your starting weight. You can't go wrong with 6kg though. You may need 5kg or 8kg depending on your natural strength though. Also, a bench with barbell is great. I swear by mine.

I'm 145lb if that helps

Start with what is just barely uncomfortable.
Lift it once. If it's difficult to do so, go a bit lower. If it feels "normal" go a bit higher.

I'm a redneck that uses gallon milk jugs filled with sand. I just simply slip them on to a plank of wood and lift away. I find that two jugs for one arm is very effective for me.

Shut up, you pussy anime poster

Nearly 10 years ago I was in your position then tried the program 15 Minute Hell

My life has never been the same

I'm going to get swole, just you wait and see.

You should able to manage at least eight reps without failure or near failure. 20lbs sounds about right.

Take that gun and shoot yourself with it.

Post your torso, faggot. I need a giggle.

Basically, anything in a rowing motion.

Also, work to maintain proper posture even when not working out. That tones your back as well as your abs and shoulders.

I already work on the posture thing because I usually sit at my computer in my free time and I don't want to end up with back problems in ten years.
