The alt-right doesn't seem to grasp that getting peoples attention isn't necessarily a good thing. All they seem to be accomplishing by raising their profile is enlarging the number of people who deride them.

They just think their making progress because of the success Trump is having. They fail to realize that he's playing to a much broader-based kind of right-wing populism, which is working so well for him because people are dissatisfied in general, and because he has quite the talent for self-advertising. He's basically his own brand. The alt-right fails to realize that they actually represent a pretty insignificant portion of his base. I doubt that most Trump supporters have even heard of the alt-right. To put it bluntly, every self-identified 'alt-rightist' could drop dead this instant and it wouldn't hurt the Trump campaign, hell, it might actually help it.

Sure, the "Alt-Right" as racial nationalists is a relatively small number of memesters, but our propaganda has been picked up by the masses. Even if every one of our members was an OC creator, between 4pol and 8pol we'd still be outnumbered in terms of content creators. By simple law of averages, there will most likely be more high-quality Holla Forums content creators, even if there is not a significant difference when compared proportionally to population.

Additionally, as a number of other people have pointed out in this thread, our ideas can't be condensed into the size that would be necessary for a 1-image or 1-post meme: they are ideas that take time and critical thought to fully understand (at least for stuff that isn't just a board-specific inside joke).
