hard g as in mgfucging gill yourself

I dislike this webzone.

"L" as in "leddit"

It's soft g. I don't care what the creator says, you wouldn't pronounce "gift" with a hard g.

Take your botnet elsewhere.

GIGA: hard g or soft g?

Answer: Doc Brown was right, the prefix giga must be pronounced with a soft G.

F as in Faggot with weekbait posts just wanting someone to interact with him.

gif and gift are two different words, though. Get the gist of what I'm saying?

Jif is correct, but it sounds like shit and everyone says gif anyway.

No, giga is correct. Jiga was only later added as an alternative pronunciation because people kept pronuncing it the wrong way. It's like how "literally" has become to also mean "figuratively" because idiots keep saying things like "I literally died".

GIFs are images, Jif is peanut butter. Know the difference, it may save your life.

jfeg

joint fotographic experts group

I'm not the creator of GIF, complain to him. I also pronounce it as gif instead of jif, if that makes you sleep better at night.

It's pronounced Cif like the cleaning fluid.

hard fur as in yiff

Do you say jraphical? If not it's a hard g.

THERE IS ONLY ONE PROPER WAY

'G'-'I'-'F'

The 'g' is like a 'y'
Yif

But I would.

Except that's how you pronounce "gift".

>>>/g/
>>>/halfchan/

I use both interchangably because I'm not autistic

Do you pronounce jpeg as jay-feg?

I pronounce GIF as "yiff"

...

Choosy developers choose animated PNG.

LOL REEETTTAARRDD!!!!

"Enjoy you jifts"

gesus christ

Wow, this sure is technology.

FAM PLZ

the only thing you need to know about gif is that it is crap and must be left in the junk yard of history

Around others it's hard g like gift to avoid the argument.

But in my heart of hearts I know it's jif.

Giga comes from Latin Gigas, giant. And a G before I is always a soft G in Latin.

But how do you pronounce /g/?

This is now a bait thread

It's neat opening a thread four days later and realizing you made a brainfart that everyone got upset over. I thought people would've figured out what I meant when I mentioned "gift" but I guess not.

This is what happens when you sagebomb threads about actual technology in favor of MUH STALLMEME MUH LOONUX MUH EVERYTHING IS SCARY BOTNET ludditefaggotry.
