For those browsing this board, you've probably noticed a sudden increase in the number of anti-Trump rhetoric here. Many of the opposition claim to be "oldfags," people who insist that they have been an integral part of the board culture here since the exodus, and decry a perceived decline in board quality due to the influence of "redditors" (a pejorative for people who support Trump, and a word for shutting down discussion).
To those people, those "oldfags," I ask you one question: Can you prove to us of your status? Can you prove to the rest of Holla Forums that you're as self-entitled to defining the "board culture" in Holla Forums as the rest of us?
At the very least, there are people out there that can speak for our interests, people who hold more legitimacy than these "oldfags." Take for instance, a minor internet celebrity by the name of MurdochMurdoch.
Many of the themes and imagery covered in Murdoch's videos display striking similarities to the thoughts, opinions, and views expressed to people in Holla Forums. His earliest video dates to June 2015 - Admittedly some time after the exodus, but still early enough to serve as valid credentials for somebody familiar enough with Holla Forums to be considered a true, legitimate "oldfag," as opposed to the people needlessly bickering about the board's condition.
Notice how on most of his videos, and, by extension, in the minds of many Holla Forums users, that Trump is seen as the ideal candidate.
Now, if somebody like that, somebody who is an accurate representation of this board's views, is wholeheartedly supportive of Trump, then why are there still anti-Trump prose being spouted among users of this board?
It's not simple shitposters, either, for some of the anti-Trump messages posted can reach a few paragraphs of length.
I expect a rational, well-constructed, thoughtful, and coherent defense from these so-called "oldfags."
