Art of the Deal

I want to discuss with you people about weather you think that the Trump movie was sanctioned by Trump. It is on netflix. It has the lowest possible rating (because all the youngsters on netflix can't take a joke) and it's about 45-50 minutes

I think it's called "Art of the Deal" from "funny or Die" or whatever.

When I turned it on, I was ready to be hyper triggered because of all the media Trump gets. But to be honest, I thought it was hilarious, so I don't know.

Did Trump mastermind this movie?

Johnny Depp plays Trump.

It is also very similar to the chapters said in the art of the deal, of course it exaggerates a little bit though.

What do you guys think? Did Trump want this movie to be made?

It doesn't have to be a long thread, I just want to know what you guys think.

They used the name "Donald J Trump" in all of the credits

they even used Martin Shkreli in one of the credits

Are they allowed to do that? I mean, I don't know, it was so amazingly close to the Art of the Deal, that I feel that Trump must have seen it and liked it

It's not negative. It's much better than expected.

It wouldn't surprise me if Trump was behind it. Every major controversial thing about Trump that's released turns out to be a leak.

The tapes where he bullshitted a journalist pretending to be an employee of himself.

The erotic photos of Melania.

He plays the media like a fiddle to ensure constant coverage and interest.

Just like all those supposedly leaked celebrity pornos had to be authorized by the celebrities to be released legally.. Trump had to sign off on this, since it uses his book's name and presents itself as an adaptation.

Depp's marriage was sabotaged by the powers that be directly after this movie came out as a result. They bribed Amber Heard as well as tempting her with promises of Depp's fortune (no prenup). And they intentionally did it on the day Depp's mother died to do maximum damage.

The movie is actually secretly pro-Trump if you watch it carefully.

Sage.

seriously, that's what I was thinking after watching it.

Also, we have to remember the context of Johnny Depp. It's funny because as Trump, he tells Ivana that she won't be buried in the Taj Mahal because she is not his second wife

well, Depp just got red-pilled by his wife's break up. So for him to say that is funny because they are basically in the same boat on this issue.

After watching it, I was left with a feeling of "wow, Trump may have paid them to do this. Or he may have sanctioned it saying that they could make fun of him, but they must also be accurate"

I mean, you could say the same thing about when Turmp went on SNL, but he wanted to do that, and he definitely approved of all of the skits, or else he wouldn't have done them.

It was made like a movie from the 90s/ late 80s, where in the end the kid (who is suppsoed to be us, or america, becomes Trump, but it's not dystopian at all.

I guess it's the latter

Feel free to kill yourself anytime

there is still work that must be done before I do that.

ok, so what about SNL? Why did he go onto SNL, if he knew they would be parodying him?

I like this short. At least the normalfags are sick of furshit just like us.

the Trump short was great right?

I mean, sure, they hinted at racism a little bit

but they inserted the EXACT libertarian/ conservative white man's tlaking point.

"It's not that I don't want black people in my apartments, it's that I don't want tenants that lower my property value"

THAT IS EVERY WHITE PERSON who isn't a democuck. "I want to go to the suburbs because they are safer than the city. That's a dog whistle! it's because of niggers!

Anyone got webms of scenes from the movie?

sage for unfunny shit

I watched it last night. It was a fucking cringefest from start to finish. I don't know what the fuck people are smoking who say he "nailed" Donalds voice and mannerisms. This shit is like an SNL skit thats not remotely funny dragged out for 50 minutes.

The short Darth Trump parody was a million times better, it was parodying him and making fun of him but it was actually funny. I kept thinking through the entire thing that the entire cast and director must have dropped LSD before making this movie.

The Trump cards are the best ones.

They are the actual "Trump Cards" in the movie

I thought it was funny as fuck BECAUSE the voice was all wrong and it was shabby. I thought that every "criticism" was weak at best, and everytime he did something that was "do whatever it takes to win" I think only made him look stronger.

I just want you to know, that your rating of the movie is the same as normies on netflix who were absolutely horrified that someone would paint trump in such a positive light!!

maybe you're autistic?

That would be pretty nimble navigation, even for Trump.

GO BACK TO REDDIT

No it's okay, Holla Forums can do without more cancer threads. Pull the trigger.

Like I said, my girlfriend and I thought it was really funny. We expected it to be stupid and fake criticism, but it seemed like polite banter to me.

we were left being wholly sure that it was made by Trump.

Now

That's

What

I

Call

Triggered

Last night on Netflix it had 3 out of 5 starts, right now it's 1.5 thats not the lowest rating dickweed.

So the normies are voting down because they are horrified that it painted him in a positive light? are you on fucking drugs? It couldn't possibly be beacuse it is possibly the worst movie/short since Gigli and that there are a shit ton of Republicans that subscribe to netflix…….. Not that it matters why they rated it shit because it definitely IS SHIT regardless.

This is some of the worst shilling for one of the worst movies in recent memory. Go back to cuckchan or reddit with your obvious bullshit trolling/shilling.

This is how I know you are full of shit. Thats literally all it was, stupid and fake criticism. It could have been done in 5 minuets but they dragged that dead horse out 10 times longer and repeated the same garbage lies the entire time.

You and your girlfriend need to get your heads checked.

its meant as a jew media slam piece and its actual effect is to deify the greatness of the man who would be king.

dubs confirm

I haven't sen the movie and don't plan to, but I caught thid clip of Depp doing his shitty Trump impersonation that was an all around cringefest. I don't if I hate the laughter from the brainless liberal audience or Jennifer Laurence acting like this was the most mindblowing impersonation ever done before.

how is that not a positive thing? That the impersonation was horrible?

It completely illustrates how horrible these people's true ideal of Trump is.

so you're saying that you could write a book, and someone could make a movie completely based on that book without your go-ahead?

Someone could have made a lord of the rings movie, 1 for 1 portrayal, and Tolkein wouldn't have to know at all?

I think you are being naive.

weather it is a hit piece or not, Trump would have had to seen it and green light it, wouldn't he?

I'm not commenting on the positive or negative perception of the movie. I just found that clip to be painful to watch.

I'm not sure if this is shilling for a movie but I'll watch the movie later.

nah

I realize it looks like I am though.

I'll stop, I have gotten the answer I was looking for I guess

It wasn't based on the book at all. They may claim it was an "adaptation" but there is almost zero correlation between the two other than the superficial.

Would they make a movie about him without his go-ahead? Yes just like they do to everybody else.

What I find really surprising is all the glowing reviews of Depps performance. "spot on" etc. It was literally a bad caricature of everything the MSM believes about him. Nobody who has actually watched Trump give a number of speeches or interviews would think Depp came anywhere close to a good impersonation. I was shocked by how cringeworthy it was. The timing, the insipid insinuations, the constant tropes of him being a raycis mashoganoost etc. It seems like something a HS drama class put together.

An Art of the Deal movie would actually be pretty good, I read the book and if you made it just a biopic that started with Trump in high school it'd be p good.

...

Tolkien kinda died in 1973 user. I don't think anyone notified him.
