So are we like the new generation of outcasts like the punks were to the 70's? I can't wait to read what they say about us, if they even remember us.

Have we, or will we, ever give them something to remember?

DATAMINE THREAD

I doubt it. People remember punks because they were at least a presence, if nothing more than occasionally you'd see one walking down the street or something. As for us, the only way you can tell that we're here if you are elsewhere is if your a colossal fag that wears meme t-shirts and greentexts on facebook group chats. Plus there is something glamorous about punks; people who were fed up with the system and weren't afraid to show it. There's nothing glamorous about sitting in your bedroom shitposting all day every day, even if it's in the same rebellious spirit.

As for giving them something to remember, I don't think it's necessary. We are anonymous for a reason.

So what, we just fade into history as another fad?
We are something. We've had something to say and the world heard us.

Sure, not every one of us were directly involved in all the infmaous hacking, but we were the infamous jokers that prank called pizzas and doxxed.the intolerant and hate. And we're just as intolerant and hateful about the things people are just as intolerant and hateful about that matters as little as anything else that could possibly matter. But we're just as knowledgeable and opinionated about the things that do matter and no one but us actually listens.

You know what we are. This is our beaten haven for all the trash and garbage that no one else has the time for.
I think it's time that Anonymous started their own interweb-based journal that reports on everything that is, and was, popular and hip. If we don't someone else will, and we all know it'll be a train wreck.

We are outcasts but we won't be remembered because there is nothing to remember us by

It's simple, we take artwork and stories posted and we showcase them on a certain basis - weekly, biweekly, monthly.

We can have a hacker culture section under a /g/-based article section.
We can showcase the latest traps and give interviews, along with the latest /mu/ based bandcamp and soundcloud artists.
We can post political reviews over time frames of news events by analyzing the popular Holla Forums and /n/ consensus on the matters when they arrive, into one or two reports on the U.S., and one on the world.
We can host polls on fresh memes and humorous greentexts.
/x/-based creepypastas
We can sell onaholes and interview the latest Holla Forums and /aco artists along with fanfiction artists and animators or weeaboos and post their opinions, reviews, and art under an /a/ and /h/ article.
This week in Anonymous history

After everything is finalized and edited, fact checked for originality and authenticity, we can post the finalized edit of our article with a picture of an interviewee or someone's artwork in multiple web-based formats like .pdf and .cbr - son on and so forth.

Shut-up homo.

A fraction of proceeds earned could be donated to certain causes like petitions for internet security, in petition and support for the prevention of net neutrality and data-mining.

We could print hard copies, get an anonymous publisher, maybe Hotwheels could be on the first cover. People don't come to these sites just to waste time jacking off or reading shitposts in their free time. people come here because it's interesting and cool and it isn't going to be interesting and cool for much longer if we don't make something of ourselves worth the while.

And a journal or magazine is how you collect similar ideas and interests into a record so that we don't lose all interest and memory to some biased Higg's history book because of newfags, redditors, SJW's, and paid lobbyists and shills flooding our pages with anti-gay, antifa, black on white porn and antisemitism.

No, punks, like most normies, care about look and attention, they have gfs and things like that, we are more like monks.

Dataminig thread, but a cool one.

Our presence is more like a one-stop truck stop on the outskirts of some old highway, or a one hit wonder from some summer-hit pop singer. But after a decade of being here you would know that it means more than that.

You can bet that each and every user that has ever posted on halfchan or here has a profile under some NSA index. We're not anonymous to the government, we're anonymous to the people around us. You became a fad and can't come to terms with that truth.

But now people have found something new, and for those of us that have stuck around or are returning for the content and quality we grew accustomed to before becoming a fad, it's hard to rekindle that old spirit. No matter how hard we try, it's just not there. And I think that's because people aren't using this site for anything more than a good fap and a good troll. This is where people with similar interests and ideas come to fit in when that opportunity isn't readily available outside of the web.

There wouldn't be an email list, or any solicitation. No issue would contain some bullshit sign-up shit requiring any information whatsoever. And if you want the issue you would come to the thread where there would be a download of your choice for the specific file format you want to read it from.

We would start off by posting each new issue at a certain time of the release date. Maybe if moderators like it they can sticky it. And it would need a name of course.

And if people want to buy the copy they would have to order it from a separate and trusted supplier that maybe our creators could supply.

Lol, there should be sections just for fapping. And all articles unless given a different name by the creator should be cited as 'Anonymous'. Anonymous everywhere in the magazine just as Anonymous is everywhere on the site.

So if anyone has any ideas on how I should get this started? I'm all ears.

Of course there will be a gaming section, highscores and any game get togethers. Upcoming conventions for gaming, anime, guns, you name it.

I could use any helpful open software that could help me to edit this material into a digitized style. And any legal water I should be cautious of.

We will fade into history, all our shitposts lost, like tears in the rain.

No, we are outcasts like Down's Syndrome kids at a public swimming pool.

I'd read it.

I wouldn't really describe us as infamous. Most people probably don't know anything about imageboards, or if they do their knowledge is basically "isn't 4chan some kind of hate website?". We aren't even destined to be forgotten, as the wider public don't know about us. How can you forget something you never knew?

Nailed it.

Good man

Mostly because of the anime. Wanking to cartoons really doesn't do anything good for your social credibility.

Well, OP, what would you like the board to be known for?

It's not strictly covering one board. The idea is to cover the Anonymous theme as a whole, all boards and relevant material.
