After reading the Bible, the more I think about it, the more I wonder if Christianity would be better off divorcing the religious aspect of it and just focus on the philosophy. Is there such a book like that? A guidebook to stable civilization that has Christian-like morals and incentives without the confusing business of what does and doesn't please God, and how much he may or may not be pleased?
