As nice as NatSoc sounds on a theoretical level, I doubt we'll ever have anyone passionate enough to be a leader anyone can agree on. That's aside from the fact that if burgerland ever did break into another civil war, or anything even remotely resembling such a thing, the US would more than likely end up forming several smaller countries, rather than retaining the land mass it has now.

It probably won't happen any time soon, but if it does, it's not going to end well for anyone. No one that I know is willing to lose internet, fresh running water at the turn of a knob, electricity at the flip of a switch, or the ability to purchase food at the local grocery store, among several other things we take for granted every day.

Would it be nice if the government changed and we could get rid of the undesireables? Sure, but I don't see it happening any time soon. You have tons of people with ARs and similar firearms, but they aren't willing to use them until things get so bad that they really need to. And by "really need to" I mean having to hold up a store to get your family something to eat, even if it's just a loaf of bread and a package of cheese.
