If you didn't feel fear your odds of survival would drop as you partake in dangerous activities without taking any safety precautions.

You need to know how to recognize and acknowledge your feelings when you have them and then use them as a tool along with logic and reasoning in order to make decisions which will improve your life, mental well being, and relationships with others.
