If anything, most children would be overeager to consent if they thought well of the adult wanting to have sex with them even if they didn't entirely understand what sex was. That said, I'm for extremely early (preferably pre-school) sex ed and I also don't think it's actually harmful to anyone involved to have sexual experiences without extensive knowledge of sexual conduct even if there were no such sex-ed.
