What worlds do you want in KH?

Kingdom Hearts 3 worlds confirmed so far:

Mount Olympus (Hercules)
Kingdom of Corona (Tangled)
San Fransokyo (BH6)

The last one is downright criminal that it hasn't been in it.
You get little mermaid and all the other princess shit but no Sword in the Stone?
It just seems like prime real-estate, at least for references or something.

Internet tells me Merlin was in 1, 2 and Birth by Sleep but it has been so long I have no memory of him at all.
Did remember that one of the default names for the Gummy Ship is Excalibur.

Can there be a world with no nomura ocs? I'd want that one

No

Tangled and BH6? Gizmoduck and DW in KH never ever.

Noice. What other characters have they done?

Merlin's roles weren't that big and I'm not even sure if he was in BBS.

They've only done world based on movies or really old properties (and it seems like they're doing it again) but I'm wondering if they'll ever do something based on a franchise that started on TV. Not that I can think of anything extravagant they own though.

They've always stuck with Disney movies

are the KH games any good. I never played them because the combination of disney and anime art styles put me off and now I regret it.

Talk about missed opportunities.

The KH games are decent. Even the worst game is passable gameplay wise.

Just be warned, KH games are varied in gameplay styles. Command Menu games are the most solid. Command Deck games are in second place of functionality (because they were handheld games first and foremost). The remaining other gameplay styles? Those are the passable tier.

The big attraction of KH games is controlling a character and enjoy the ride as you befriend Disney Characters. Some characters do better than others at gelling with Disney Characters. Sora being the best at meshing with Disney.

Are these the only worlds they've outright set to be in the game yet? I'd shoot for a Wreck-It Ralph world, but copyright would have that one dead at the doorstep. At least try to get some Phantom Blot manor up in that shit though, Mickey's been too hung in the shade to keep showing up out of nowhere and poppin his jaw like he's hot shit.

Merlin was in BBS's Radiant Garden. That was what Hollow Bastion turned into, right? And I'm pretty sure he only appeared for, what else, but to hold the fucking Pooh book again.

The gameplay is fun if you like action RPGs, fairly simple and clean. But the story's a complete clusterfuck; don't even bother with that.
Here, let me give you a sample of what you'll be missing out on.

so much darkness. Maybe I'll just stick with a walkthrough or rent it at a redbox. Is it available for xbox 360 or was it only available for the PS2? Also, was Epic Mickey any good? I remember reading it in Game Informer back when I used to read that magazine and the game looked genuinely interesting.

Naw, sorry. Outside of a few Nintendo portable games and shitty mobiles, the franchise only ever made it to… well, more Sony systems than they should be pushing to sell one series on, let's leave it at that. They're coming to a head with the port collections on PS3, but I guess that probably doesn't help you much either.
As for Epic Mickey, I never did get the chance to play that one. Too poor.

dude, that would be epic

sorry, eyes were off. i thought sword in the stone poster was black cauldron

Anything to do with Disney's Duckverse (Paperinik, Darkwing Duck, the duck triplets) and Wreck-It Ralph. We could get some serious meta comedy with the Wreck-It Ralph world (e.g. dialogue gags regarding home consoles). Keep the Marvel and Star Wars shilling out, and none of that furry nonsense.

so what about marvel/star wars worlds?
those should be on the table surely?

I'm not so sure. Kingdom Hearts is practically about worlds based on Disney-created IP. Bringing anything outside of that theme would probably clash with its aesthetic.

I'm hella onboard (pun intended) with Treasure Planet world. The world boss for Atlantis should definitely be one of the stone guardian statues corrupted with darkness, with the boss BGM being an arrangement of FF13's Desperate Struggle.

I don't know how to say this but I think I'm fucking sick of seeing Hercules represented in Kingdom Hearts

I want The Song Of The South and Der Fuhrer's Face.
And Epic Muppets.

Yeah..would've loved to see Duckburg or St. Canard being a world in KH3. I used to kid that the only way we can see Gizmoduck in KH is if he's a summon.

Would you want the DuckTales Remastered recast?

Gargoyles world would be great, but it'll never happen.

It's not that bad…isn't it?

See (or hear) for yourself

It's OK, it doesn't sound too bad. Average.

Though the new VA sounds more heroic as Gizmoduck.

If it makes you feel any better this will be Hercules' final showing in the KH series. Why? This will finally be the only time Hercules is a world partner in a KH game. In KH1? You didn't get him as a world partner. In KH2? You got Auron from FF10. In BBS? You got rookie teenage Hercules, not him as a hero.

KH3 will be the last chance to get this right.

Anyone else think that Nomura should stop aging Sora? Keep him as a boy having fun adventures with Disney characters. Once he stops being a "boy" the Disney nostalgia childhood link is severed.

The idea of a young man hanging out with Disney characters like a sort of manchild? It feels wholly unappealing. Plus Nomura did say that Sora is the central protagonist of the franchise. KH is Sora's Story. If so, then keep him young like Ash from Pokemon.

I mean you people did play Birth by Sleep? It has the oldest playable characters, Aqua & Terra. Those two did not mesh well with Disney characters because of their ages and combine that with their notably mature personalities and dilemmas. Ventus being younger did a better job.

It does feel partly justify his aging VA, at least in English

Or we could have this thing where his story ends, which serves as a beginning for new stories. Like the rebuilding of the Keyblade wielders' order, or sealing away the worlds as they once were, and so on. Things that a kid has no business doing.

What you've got to understand is, these games take ages, literal ages through to make. And Haley J definitely ain't getting any younger… eugh.

does he still get work or did he retire from acting?

...

Looking at this pic just gave me an idea. If Nomura makes Sora too old, then Data Sora can be used. Data Sora is like a Digimon essentially and cannot age. Just have him escape the Datascape into the real world (realm of light) and let him have new adventures in Disney worlds as of yet unseen in the series.

they did a few Star Wars and Marvel figures

which, actually seeing as Nomura designed the figures and Disney owns the above two that's an interesting sign right there

This was on the Square Enix side, to be fair, but it's worth noting that they used TWEWY characters in DDD, which are technically not Final Fantasy games at all.

Is that Catwoman? Nomura made her look like Batgirl or Batwoman.

Well she has a tail so its obviously catwoman.

Kairi is the second worst character in KH (worst being Aqua the waifufaggot magnet). She really never needed to exist. But since she does I wish Maleficent would kill her off to teach Sora a lesson about him defeating her in KH1.

Anything to get rid of Kairi who now we're supposed to accept as a "fighter" who can kick ass. Bullshit. That reeks of Feminist bullshit. Then again Aqua herself is just Feminist bullshit as well.

So tired of these unrealistically competent twat characters.

Scrooge's VA died since then

as far as i can tell, he's mostly did comedy bang bang & some low-budget movie rolls. sounds a lot like his sister

bit better knowing aqua's only a threat because of magic

What do you mean exactly?

On a separate note, anyone else glad they changed Sora's (and the OCs protoype designs) design to being a human? I got nothing against anthro characters, but Sora's literal half assed animal and human mix to his design was plain old ugly.

If you're going to design a Non-Human do it right. Whether it's a made up type of bipedal anthro like Klonoa and Disney's Beast or a bipedal familiar animal, you do it right.

If this game came out a decade earlier I woulda been stoked. Unfortunately now that I'm closing in on fucking 30 I couldnt give less than a shit about it. Coupled with the fact everything disney puts out these days resembles that animated food-porn film more than sword in the stone or sleeping beauty.

Modern day Disney makes Leftist themed propaganda bullshit movies. Zootopia comes to mind. That and anyone sick of Disney's Pro-Female anti-male propaganda themes in their media?

Fuck Zootopia, Tangled, and hell even Big Hero 6 couldn't stop itself from injecting a support character who's catch phrase is "Woman up!" It's just sickening and a blatant attempt at mentally brow beating growing boys into accepting twats as superior to males.

And of course Western girls grow up thinking they're tough and shit. They don't realize that the only kinds of men who stomach their shit are Western emasculated men who are conditioned to take their shit and put them on a pedestal.

Didn't they confirm Frozen too?

I mean it'd be retarded to not cash into that.

It's THE most popular animated film in Japan, of course they're putting it in. Not to mention Tai Yasue (KH's co-director) has said he wants to put the film into KH3 because his daughter worships that stupid ass movie.

Hmm looking at this pic and the current furry threads we got on Holla Forums, Kairi would have gotten more porn made if she was an anthro all the while keeping the male characters human. Furries for whatever reason are really good at cranking out decent to quality pics of female anthros even if they're no longer relevant or if they're niche. Case in point Fifi from Tiny Toons or Jenny from Bucky O Hare.

KH1 was a story about heroism and destiny mixed and mixing in classic disney was a pretty original concept. Good stuff. Modern Disney seems to cater to weird fetishism more than anything. I had a grown ass man at my office tell me he wanted to fuck the MC from frozen. It's honestly a bizzaro universe.

She was barely in the game and always more of a princess peach character ie always in another castle. Plus she was unnatractive.

No shit, Zootopia's teaser explaining what anthros are? Cringe inducing. Also that upcoming Giantess movie is going to be annoying as fuck thanks to Giantess Fetishists.

Thank you, this. Kairi is unattractive as hell. Doesn't matter which version, that includes her clones. She's flattish, no ass, no shapely feminine figure with hips, and boring as hell personality wise.

Say what you will about Princess Peach, but her design is not ugly and aids to the imagination of attractiveness. Kairi on the other hand had this ugly uneven short hair style in KH1 while KH2 she's just bland looking with longer hair (and some fags want her to cut the hair short again). Also KH1 Kairi had this ugly ass HUGE head like a Sonic character. Combine that with the huge hands and feet and she looks freakish.

Overall though? KH females are trash. You're better off fapping to other females. Even Pokemon's lolies surpass Aqua the most overrated KH female ever.

Do you mean food porn as in Feast or Ratatouille? Or are you talking about that other "woke" film?

If you want to get autistic about it kairi's really only an ideal. Something to motivate the protag. I got the feeling that if sora and kairi ever settled down, sora would get bored pretty fast. But yeah, KH1 kairi has the figure of a troll doll.

God, seeing that again makes me wanna go full 4th reich and I hate larping.

I doubt it dude. Nomura writers Sora as a standard lacking guy, meaning like all protagonists. So I don't see him getting bored of Kairi fast like you suggest. Never liked that whole true love monogamous forever bullshit all media does and implies with their stories. So it's not just a Disney thing.

Not to mention that Kairi is written very unrealistically, Sora himself is a Nice Guy. Women don't like dopey Nice Guys, they like the assholes, bad boys, etc. So Kairi's dedication to Sora is just fictional fluff for idiots to eat up.

The problem with writing females realistically is that most heroes would be sexually unsuccessful in most stories and the dweebs, geeks, dorks, and beta males who buy into the media would rage (see Digimon Season 2). Seriously look at Sora in KH, he's not smart. He's not as good looking a Riku right down to being bony while Riku is in better shape. And Sora has no money (plus it's implied Kairi was adopted by the town mayor so you know she's sort of upper class). Under realistic circumstances THIS is what would happen to Sora:

youtube.com/watch?v=EstRx-NbKlQ

Skip to 1:30. It really doesn't help that Nomura doesn't have a clue about how to craft competent and appealing males. Have you seen his handiwork in FF15? Noctis has good looks, but his personality is that of a whiny spoiled brat who is nothing without his body guards. And if he's not whining around he's a slacker constantly sleeping while his body guards do all the work. The only time Noctis did anything admirable was avenging his mother's killer. That's it. Every other piece of media makes Noctis unappealing.

But this thread is about KH, and honestly I wish Sora would wise up and be less lame, starting with his script/dialogue.

I emphatically agree. I think Disney Love™ has alot of negative real-world implications as well.

I played the first two and recall less about the 2nd then the 1st. As far as I know the series never moved past sora's hero's journey and never saw his natural transition to hero king. Disney and Square*adjective* are never going to show that transition. Kairi was the catalyst of sora's growth as a hero, but eventually he would outgrow her.

I thought that was the point of the story line? Noctis has to grow up and also learn to defend himself.

You see in the other games of KH? They focus on other characters. These other male characters have stronger characterization and dilemmas. Riku, Roxas, Axel/Lea, and Terra are wholly overall more popular than Sora due to themes of tragedy or character growth. Sora overall has a problem and it's how Nomura executes him.

Nomura has aged Sora, but refuses to let the kid mentally mature and learn his lessons or absorb positive values. So he stays as a willfully ignorant happy go lucky idiot without a care in the world. And when the other male characters face consequences, hardships to overcome and turn out stronger afterwards? It's easy to see why Sora is lame and why he's amassed critics.

I get the impression that Nomura keeps Sora as a Dumbass Hero with no common sense and lame preachy speeches about friendship so that he meshes better with Disney Characters. A big part of KH is the Disney Worlds and Sora being the central protagonist has to interact with Disney characters a lot more than the other characters so that's why Nomura keeps Sora hammy, cheesy, and lame in all aspects.

The other characters you play as? They're either too boring to hang out with Disney Characters, too hung up on their own inner demons, or plain old too mature to believably interact with Disney characters.

That's the only edge Sora has over the other male characters.

They could have done a better job because when so much promotional media around the protagonist is showing off his negative traits? It's hard to give a damn about him.

The lengthy development time for FF15 also doesn't help with the first impressions.

i want a release date

2018 is the release date since no KH game was released this year. Plus 2.8 is coming out in 2017.

There you go. So that means that KH3 will thankfully skip Disney's Gigantic.

I played the first two. Think the only characters you could play where sora, riku, and roxas.

Never paid attention to that one. The cast looks like a kpop boy band.

I am biased. I think heroes mature to end up something like Conan. Its a larger problem in media, never allow the hero to properly mature and keep them as you said,

To draw a comparison to adventure time, the show started as the story of a boy hero and never decided on an ending. The creator left seasons ago and the show is kept alive for profite reasons, catering to the whimseys of its tumblrite fanbase.

well..yeah..

Sora spent a few years basically in a floating tube while his memories and body were trying to get back together while all that time Riku and the rest of the gang were doing everything they can to combat and find out what Organization 13 was up to and trying to do.

It makes sense that Sora would mentally still be a child while everyone else is a brooding mess that works for them, it won't work for Sora and in ways that lack of maturity benefits Sora because while everyone is willing to be afraid Sora's lack of fear due to his carefree nature and childlike attitude helps him to take on fights and battles, He will mature up but at a gusto for fighting for his friends and the overall theme of Kingdom Hearts is all about Friendship and the bond it creates, in that regard It's okay for Sora to be a childlike dude while everyone else isn't because Sora is literally the key to friendship and invokes that element.

AT's issues was it was hijacked by hipster writers that used the show as their personal therapy sessions. Writing in episodes where Finn's character completely takes a 180 to simply talk about his feelings or love interests.

It got really creepy and of course CN was ignorant to reel in the writers because AT still brought in viewership while Tumblr being the amazingly ignorant people they are, used the show's writers as a way to say "SEE THIS SHOW CATERS TO US" and yeah…the rest is history that we have a jojo thread on about daily.

But with Sora and Kingdom Hearts…yeah it's true, I doubt Nomura had plans for an ending and years before came out with the stuff like Organization 13 and the whole Keyblade war stuff.

But man it's also due in large part that Disney is Disney and they saw how successful the games were and probably force Nomura to keep making these games like Konami kept Hideo Kojima under lock and key until Kojima just gave up near the end of his run to make his own company. Nomura however continues to suck it up because the games provide money and in Japanese culture why give that up ?

In the first two games you only get Sora. Roxas plays identical to Sora and you get him for the "literally 5 hours long" tutorial and Riku you get for like a split second for a special ability in the final boss of the second game.

You can play as King Mickey in certain boss fights, which they added more events in 2 with the International and FM+ releases, but you have to die as sora. Mickey completely rapes everything but he can't kill bosses.

In Days you play as Roxas, in CCOM and RE:COM you get a whole story mode centered around Riku after you beat the game, in Coded and RE:Coded you play as Data Sora which is absically KH1 sora, and in BBS you play as Ven, aqua, and Terra and each has their own story modes.

What the user said:
Is really true. BBS exemplifies this with Terra, Aqua, and Ven. Ven is almost literally Sora thanks to some evil magic mumbo jumbo and he meets a lot of disney characters like Sora does. Aqua meets a lot of Disney characters but she barely interacts with them and to them only appears when they need help saving the day from the random heartless that appear. Meanwhile Terra is a dark and brooding asshat and basically only meets the villains in each world and when he meets the cartoony good guys it's always a little weird.

Riku is a little like Terra, he meets disney heroes but he always comes off either as an ass or he turns all goofy like when mickey is around. Sora is exactly like Ven, and there is no real equivalent of Aqua because she's basically a support character not only tieing up strings for Terra and Ven but to every single disney world she visits. She's the story equivalent to a maid. Roxas on the other hand is a little weird. He rarely directly interacts with disney characters. In 358/2 Days I can only remember him interacting with Tinker Bell but I imagine he would act like Sora too since the magic mumbo jumbo.

I thought about that too, but then KH1's international release had Roxas in it and older Riku, and then there was that secret Boss in Final Mix.

Nomura I think has a general idea he wants but doesn't have it down on paper. KH is basically what it feels like to be in his head when trying to write a game plot.

What the fuck is all this shit? Are these the hand held titles?

well I think Nomura true, had an idea what the overall story is but he gets pressures from Disney and Square to add in elements to include Disney stuff.

Those are the 3DS ones yeah.

But lets not forget the following ones

yeah….this game series is a mess for releases.

Yeah, the "spinoffs" are actually mainline installments that you need to get the whole story. It's why KH3 is going to be a clusterfuck.

358/2 Days on DS is about Roxas between KH1 and KH2 and it intersects with Chain of Memories. It introduces a new character Xion that may or may not be important later. I'm hoping not since her story was ended perfectly in the game.

Re:Coded on DS is about Data Sora and King Mickey as they try and figure out what the fuck is going on with Jiminy's journals after KH2. It's the worst game in the series so it's easily ignored. It doesn't reveal anything you can't figure out yourself.

The above 2 were turned into cutscenes for the HD rereleases.

Birth By Sleep is about Terra, Aqua, and Ven and takes place before KH1 and explains how everyone got Keyblades. This is the main reason Coded isn't needed because the Final Mix version of it basically gives you the same message as Coded.

Then there is Dream Drop Distance which sets up KH3 directly, taking Sora from where he was left off in KH2 and puts him where he needs to be to start KH3.

BBS and DDD are the most important story wise, you'll NEED to play them to get the whole story. Days and Coded are less so. Coded is just a complete shit game while Days had some really nice redeeming factors, but if you buy the two HD collections you don't even need to play either since they made them cutscenes. You'll have most the story up until DDD which isn't in either of them. DDD is however in the 2.8 HD collection which has a whole new side story about Aqua, and the cutscenes from the Canon parts of the cellphone game.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Cellphone game that is complete fucking trash. It is literally 350+ missions of the EXACT same monotonous garbage on the exact same monotonous maps and a majority of the game isn't canon. Only around 300-375 or so is and that's what they're including in 2.8.

Lets see, there is:
KH1 KH1:FM on PS2
COM on GBA and RE:COM on PS2
KH2 and KH2:FM+ on PS2
358/2 Days on DS
Coded as a Jap exclusive cellphone game and RE:Coded on DS internationally
Birth By Sleep and Birth By Sleep Final Mix on PSP
Dream Drop Distance on 3DS
and then there is the failed browser game X and then Unchained X which is the much more successful cellphone game.

KH:HD REmix 1.5 has KH1:FM, RE:COM, and 358/2 days, but Days is only cutscenes
KH:HD REmix 2.5 has KH2:FM+, BBS:FM, and RE:Coded, but RE:Coded is only cutscenes.
Upcoming we got KH: HD 2.8 which has DDD, Aqua's side episode that takes place during her adventures in the Dark Realm after BBS and takes place around sometime before KH3 and is supposed to help lead into KH3, and then it has special cutscenes made from the events told in the cellphone game.

And then finally we'll get KH3.

That's 8 games currently out with plot relevance and important details (Some, much less than others) and then 2.8's exclusive Aqua story is going to supposedly add new plot details, so that's 9 games spread across 8 consoles, 7 if you disregard the browser game. So that sets up KH3 as the 10th game in the series and since it's coming out on Xbone it'll bring the console count up to 9, 8 minus browser.

i dont want your fan speculation, i want SE to say when the fuck the game is coming out.

i just want this shit to end so i can end my shit up

When Sora first woke up in Traverse Town in KH1? Sora was wondering about where he was and asking questions. In KH2? Sora woke up on the basement of some abandoned mansion from a world he's never been to before and he doesn't find anything about the situation weird at all as he blissfully went on his way. Hell it took Yen Sid to point out to Sora that his current clothes didn't fit him and he needed new ones. Nomura seriously has a terrible handling on how to present the protagonist.

I want to like Sora, but as he is and getting worse? I feel a resentment towards the kid. No different from Luffy from One Piece who I grew to detest because of his infantile and overly exaggerated idiocy.

You can still have an optimistic young male protagonist who isn't a fucking annoying idiot, look at Zack from Crisis Core. He's not cunning or an emo, but no one can say given his execution that he was stupid. That's what I want for Sora development wise. It's either that or if Nomura (and Tai Yasue) insist on Sora still being infantile? Then just de-age Sora so that his attitude is reflected physically.

As the stakes keeping on getting higher I want Sora to mature and handle the situation adequately.

Nomura said a long time ago he already has the final scene of Kingdom Hearts in mind. Wonder if that's changed in recent years.

As for your Hideo Kojima bit, the man may have been Konami's lapdog for making games, but if we're honest his games were Hit/Miss. Never thought he was that great.

Forgot to mention. Sora needed new clothes because he got older, yet Sora doesn't reflect on the fact that he lost a chunk of his life in some abandoned basement. And that the mystery itself is worth investigating? Come on.

When Zack escaped from the Shinra Mansion basement and discovered 4 years had passed his reaction was "What is going on here!?" Sora doesn't have anything close to such a reaction.

Hmm I often suspect that Nomura intentionally made Sora stupid during that part of KH2 so as to ease fans who skipped Chain of Memories. Think about it, if Sora ever truly got curious to actively find out why he was in that mansion basement, he would inevitably find out about the Organization Members he slayed in Castle Oblivion, find out about Namine, eventually DiZ who moved him to Twilight Town's mansion, etc. All of this would necessitate playing Chain of Memories. And Nomura could not do that as it would feel like shafting the fans who didn't play Chain of Memories. So instead Nomura chose to write Sora poorly for the continued profitability of the series.

look at Aqua, Ven, and Terra
Terra's a badass keyblader who overpowered two different masters, can use the power of darkness, and can turn his keyblade into a fucking missile launcher
Ven's the swiftest and the ability-heavy character. he's got a great mix of combat prowess and some good magic
Aqua, on the other hand, is the worst at straight up combat. she can't even block with her keyblade, something the 14 year old sora was able to do against a TITAN, and relies on her strong magic ability to make up for her mediocre combat

That's always been a cliche. Males are good at physical combat and females are good at magic which requires intellect. This is all bullshit because men are more intelligent than women. So naturally men should be portrayed as the superior mages and sorcerers as well.

It's always the same routine, guy who fights physically is dumb. But mages are always portrayed as intelligent, and who gets that role of being intelligent? The twat character.

I swear I wish Aqua and Kairi were killed off. It would improve KH, but Disney is the biggest Gynocentric company in the world, they would set billions of male babies on fire before letting a fictional good looking cunt perish.

Meh. It's a video game written by Japs don't get so hotheaded about the whole thing. Terra is so fucking stupid he straight up gives away information about different worlds to everyone, Ven suffers for it and Aqua is the only not retarded one. No I'm serious Terra is so bad it's hilarious how bad he is and Ven/Aqua clean up every mess he leaves because, Ven is merely naive and young not as fucking asinine as Terra though, Aqua is actually older than all of them I believe in her twenties but I could be wrong about that. Don't kill Aqua, she's a decent character but Kairi needs to fuck off for sure.
TL:DR Japs write schlock in place of actual goodies and fanboys piss themselves all the same. The IP makes money, the fans love drivel and the cycle about Nomura's belt fetish continues.

...

There are a whole cavalcade of things they could do with the TV shows, but at this point it may just complicate things. Nomura said this was the end of a saga, implying that there's gonna be more in the future

I'm honestly just pulling for Max and PJ to show up at some point.

The pet theory that she'll be a third playable character sounds awful. Kairi is a bland character who's just basically girl Sora. I don't need to idiots running around with keyblades, especially one who can barely use it.

To be fair, most KH women are fairly plain looking, which makes sense when you consider that anything to sexually explicit might not mesh with the Disney atmosphere the games try to have. Even Tifa was toned down, and Nomura's the same guy that gave her her massive titties!

That said Larxene is the most attractive by a country-mile, but I think it's more the robes than anything, because they give everyone hourglass figures. Marluxia, if he was the girl he was originally going to be, would probably be attractive too.

I always put Aqua and Terra at the same age, and yeah, it's fictional, dunno why people get butthurt their anime game about disney and final fantasy isn't accurate to some moron's insecure beliefs on gender.

Obligatory.

NOT AGAAAAAAAAAIN

…Can some kind user give the proper picture, please?

oh fuck

Here's a worse scenario. Imagine Nomura deciding to give Kairi her own game and in it? She gets to explore much desired worlds before Sora. Like Toy Story, Incredibles, Sword in the Stone, Wreck It Ralph? And the list goes on. I would feel annoyed.

I didn't like missing out on Stitch's world in BBS because it went to characters I don't care about. I also disliked how Maleficent's world was also wasted on that lame trio. To see a character I despise who I know is just shit getting privileges over worlds I've dreamed about with Sora who is the main hero? That would just be infuriating.

Also you mentioned that KH women are plain looking because of the Disney atmosphere, but I disagree. Even Disney who is filled with SJW/PC Watchogs/Leftists still design visually appealing females every now and then. For whatever reason Nomura does his best to de-sexualize any vagina original character. It also doesn't help most of them are Kairi clones, even Aqua is a "parallel" to Kairi. But I digress, not going to waste much more on this issue. You want fap bait? You look elsewhere because Nomura isn't delivering.

Aqua isn't decent. She was "competent" because every male character in BBS was a moron and yes that includes Xehanort who got his ass handed to him by a twat. Oh sure Terra was fighting him from within, but it doesn't paint a good picture. Regardless of context whenever a male loses to a female, the male is seen as a failure.

That cringe inducing "I''m Master Aqua" scene is just bullshit. I just cannot take women warriors seriously. That is the fantasy of a geek, dweeb, beta male feminist. Women are nothing close to that and by creating these shitty cliches we end up with generations of stupid mentally emasculated men who buy into and glorify everything women have never been.

It's just infuriating to see how many guys eat that shit up. And I can't stand it when these same emasculated loser males create their own stuff like Gravity Falls or Avatar's creators. Myke and Bryan were blatantly simp male feminists going by how big a joke the male characters ultimately were and don't say Iroh, he's just one character that was masculine and he was a mere support character, not a major player.

Anyone remember that stupid scene where a skinny woman like Jun beat the Ryu from Street Fighter parody guy in arm wrestling? Painful to watch this emasculating shit.

Anyway back to KH, I just can't take women seriously as intellectuals and warriors because that's not what they are. And another concern is Sora. Kairi is going to learn how to fight and her attitude even before getting keyblade training is that Sora is hopeless without her. Can you imagine how lame Sora is going to look once Kairi learns how to fight? I can see Nomura turning Sora into Kairi's punching bag (she already smacks him around in the intro of KH1). Basically a fighter Kairi means Sora is to be pussy whipped and that just makes him even lamer than he already is. No growing boy or any man looks up to a pussy whipped male.

Frankly one of the reasons I despise Naruto, the character, is because his pussy whipped nature was disgusting to watch (that and his general lack of self-respect). I've never seen a Japanese man produce a series where the man has dignity when in conflict against a twat, even Yusuke from YYH was totally pussy whipped by that bitch Keiko (and he was supposed to be a delinquent bad boy no less). I don't want to see this with Sora who is a Nice Guy meaning he generally has less of a spine, not too much dignity, etc. than other male protagonists. Seeing Sora accept insults by Kairi and the like would just make him wholly unappealing as a main character. Especially when the reverse would never be accepted (that Sora trash talks Kairi and smacks her occasionally because of stupid double-standards).

PS - I know you're going to bring up how Sora trashed Larxene, but remember Larxene was a villain. It's a whole different ball game to have a male hero not take shit from his long term love interest, that's the real game changer.

Held in the spaghetti all week, did you, Holla Forums?

Since you asked nicely user

Wide World of Sports (ESPN)

And people say KH is "easy to follow" when you know the whole story.

Please, can you show us the are where the woman didn't touch you?

Thank you kindly, user.

It is, if you've been following it.

I want Scintilla, or Gunmetal City.
The Mouse will eat GW. I have foreseen this.

Grimdark and Dark-darky-darkness-crawling-in-my-skin don't mix well, user

Are there any Non-Disney series/franchises that you wanted to see in KH as worlds? Do tell.

No. Set it on the Litany of Fury. Make Gabriel Angelos and the Blood Ravens keyblade wielders. Make their world "A Grim Future." Where the Darkness has gotten out of control and mutated. Chaos Space Marines and Heartless fight side by side.

Sonichu, Tails Gets Trolled, Incontinent Student Bodies, Jack, Crossed, Jack Chick tracts, and My Little Pony.

Anyone else fed up with how creatively bankrupt Nomura is when it comes to character creation? How often does this guy rely on "clones" to get by? But that's not the point.

What I mean is that every single time Nomura invents an original world to explore for the original story it's populated by boring humans. Anyone else tired of that?

RPGs typically include different races/species in their adventures, but in KH? Every single plot heavy original world is composed of uninspired humans. Even the team that made Chrono Trigger said when developing Frog and Robo that A team of only humans is boring." Needless to say Nomura has experience working in big FF games that include different races. FF8 which was ironically before FF15 the most realistic looking FF game had the Moombas and Shumi's which belonged to the same species. FF10? It had the Ronsos.

Anyway when KHX (chi) showed up I wanted to see some robot or beast race keyblade wielders. But nope seeing the KH Back Cover cut scenes from 2.8 all we get are boring ass humans and that's it. For a high fantasy series about exploring different worlds Nomura is just wasting the opportunity.

Then again going by his vision of FF15'' which Tabata is trying to respect, he's the kind of man who prefers boring humans and only designs Non-Humans when he's ordered to do it like with Red XIII from FF7 (bet that in the remake if he could, he would drop Red XIII).

PS - Pre-existence copyrighted characters like Moogles don't count as they weren't created for KH's original story and belong to their respective series.

Sure thing, pal.

Those are all mindless creatures except the humanoid Nobodies. Come on, Final Fantasy in general has always included Non-Humans since the first game. The first game had that robot that helped the party reach Tiamat's dungeon.

Would it kill Nomura to design original characters for the story that aren't humans? It's a staple of JRPGs of all sorts. And just in case, no Disney characters don't count either for being pre-existent copyrighted characters as well.

Goofy's son Max being acknowledged as existing would be cool to see, could fit in easy as a knight-in-training for Disney's goofy little military.

Still waiting for this

Sora was going to look like THAT? Looked up this Klonoa character and my what a difference. Klonoa looks cute despite being a mixture of animals style of anthro. But Sora there? He looks like a furry and a human had sex and that abomination version of Sora was the result.

All the Nobodies still have their consciousness, there's that Dusk that talks to Roxas after all. Also the humanoids can apparently be "devolved" to lesser Nobodies since there was talk of Xemnas changing somebody into a Dusk as a punishment.

Mind, it wouldn't have worked on Xion, what with being a Replica and all.

…How the hell are we gonna get her back? I know memory is the key, but beyond that, I don't have any real idea.

The idea behind Xion itself is retarded. Memories literally given form? Haven't been this angry with a character's creation since FFX's Tidus being a dream.

Granted Xion is even more stupid, destroying Xion erases the minds of everyone who ever interacted with her as they forget all memories about her.

I will never like the stupid idea of these clone characters that Nomura keeps on inventing. It's a miracle that by now he hasn't created an Alternate Universe where we see Good Xehanort or something.

For what purpose…?

REGARDLESS OF WARNINGS
THE FUTURE DOESN'T SCARE ME AT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL

Same could be said about Metal Gear, you know

The South (Song of the South)
Auschwitz (Anne Frank)

This is true, same level of amusing convolution.

That film wasn't real, jackass.

THIS! FUCKING THIS RIGHT HERE! NEGADUCK AS HEARTLESS BOSS BATTLE C'MON SQUARE ENIX!

Would any of you play a KH game where the whole game is set in one fully realized original world that Sora explores without any Disney characters in sight?

It would be like Sora is exploring and having a massive adventure in one fully detailed world ala Final Fantasy, but with KH gameplay and mobility. So not like FF15. Personally I wouldn't mind such a game. Especially if it benefits Sora's development as a character.

Holy hell, is there still no news on this game?

Anyway, I want an Atlantis World and a Dead Man's Chest World .

There is no more news for KH3 this year because SE is trying to build hype for FF15 and 2.8 Prologue which releases in 2017.

After that? It's KH3's showtime. I just hope that this time around Sora is less idiotic. Dream Drop Distance seriously hurt the kid's image.

Hm? What'd he goof up in there?

Getting in touch with Roxas seems to have been a good thing.

Incidentally, fuck does that boy have a crowded head.

Sora for lack of better words was portrayed overly idiotically without a care in the world. First thing he does in Traverse Town after Neku betrays him to Young Xehanort is claim "We're friends already anyway!"

Did you remember how Sora acted towards Namine when he learned she was manipulating his memories? He told her he wasn't happy about what she did but can't get angry at her because of the way the fake memories made him feel. His ultimatum was that after the entire mess with OXIII was finished then they could be friends for real since she wouldn't be used like a tool against Sora.

The point is Sora acted more grounded vaguely like a real person in KH1 and KH CoM, but from KH2 and forward he deteriorated into an idiot with no common sense. In DDD? He was at his worse. He was simply way too stupidly written, the Neku incident was just one of his faulty scenes.

Hm. It'd be interesting if they tackled that in III, and found a way to explain the deterioration with how his being is unsettled after all that futzing around in there.

…What the fuck bumped this thing?

No one checked out the 1.5/2.5 PS4 Remix trailers and the new 2.8 CGI intro? Plus the new KH3 screens of Sora in the top of Mount Olympus?
