I'm not a Marxist but Capital is a worthwhile read. Even if you think a lot of the potential problems with capitalism can be fixed with market solutions, there's a lot more to it than a lot of polacks would have you believe (not that they've read it).

This is capitalist econ, moron. And the price is effected by the cost of production. These graphs are used as visual aides for determining the effect some legislation will have on the economy. Really common sense stuff, tbh.
The general assumption is that a completely free market will always tend towards equilibrium.
If the government fixed a price on a given good below equilibrium value (ie, you may not sell this product for any more than this price) you end up selling more than you can produce through market forces alone. Fewer people will work in a low profit business while more people will afford buying the products of this industry.
If the government set a minimum price for a certain thing above equilibrium value, you end up with a surplus of that good. More people will be willing to work in a high profit field and therefore produce more, while less people are going to be able to afford this product.

It's for visual aide purposes, mainly. you don't really plug hard numbers in these graphs as much as apply your understanding of how certain things will shift the lines one way or another. Like a new technological advancement will translate the supply curve rightward resulting in a lower equilibrium price at a greater quantity relative to the previous equilibrium.

The reason why this is so is because in order for a collectivized economy to work, you must eliminate the values one has placed upon his works and the useless commodities such as currency for ones actions. If most of you had read Kapital, this is what he outlines.

In no way was this too make everyone feel giddy and gleeful because of a new found equality amongst everyone, sure that keeps the workers moving as a cohesive unit, but at the end of the day this is about raw production without limitation and middlemen such as money or business heirarchy getting in the way. The statement of Marx is simply this: If we need it, we have the means in order to produce it at will. If you look at it from this perspective, you can understand how this with proper care can be implemented fantastically. Adolf Hitler, say what you will about him, gave us a near ideal Socialist state by taking the foundations of Marxism and picking up and correcting where Karl had left off. Adolf had realized that the dream of Marx did not fall into what the human mind would allow, it needed individualism and a sense of determination and focus to drive it onward into a productive utopia. It gave the people exactly what they needed, a sense of purpose and belonging along with the drive to produce what was to be needed of the nation.

The battle most of you are fighting has been taught to you by our bipartisan ideology of leftism vs rightism. In reality, there is no such thing as the left or right in trying to create an ideal future for the people. Hitler knew this, Lenin knew this, and Stalin knew this. When they look up at managers selling out their fellow workers for the possibility of promotion and stock options, they focus on women and minorities as managers instead of the practice of stepping on the laborer to squeeze out more revenue. They say "I can't get ahead because of mandatory diversity" instead of "I can't get ahead because I am being exploited".

When they look past this at their companies stock holders, they see financial firms. Financial firms that, until recently, wouldn't allow a non-WASP through the front door. These firms trade their stocks on behalf of wealthy investors, and the richest of these investors hire firms to manage their investments, which are traded by other firms. A number of people of Jewish descent work in low end firms, and some have migrated into the so called White-Shoe firms that service wealthy and powerful clientele now that social restrictions have eased. They focus on the people used as surrogate laborers for the wealthy and think "aha, I've found the culprit".

The Capitalist himself is invisible to the people of Holla Forums. They live in a layer of reality that Holla Forums blinds itself to with hate. The real redpill is realizing that much the pushback against class oppression inherent in the system is being channeled in the form of oppression of those who are not like ourselves, and the pushback against that oppression bleeds momentum from those not blinded.

You accept the red pill, you can stay and see how deep the rabbit hole goes. You take the blue pill, and you go back to posting about how the Jews are behind everything even though the facts don't pan out.

one of the things about karl's books, is that he was genuine and really thought his ideals were applicable. he really thought if those ideals were to be put in place, society would be better and blah blah blah. he thought a thing like communism would only work in already successful societies (like britannia), but reality hits you hard. communism turned out a shit, as pictured by other philosophers, before it was implemented. also, karl was a shitty, shitty person. never worked a day in his life, had a bastard son and didn't want to raise it, leeched off engles to publish for him. all of these are reasons good enough to denounce his ideology and him without mentioning he's a filthy, filthy kike. don't be a dickturd, read at least two of his books (das capital, communist manifesto).
