Knowing this, think on production companies and studios. Huge budgets apparently, but the bulk of a major actors pay comes from the box office. if it flops they dont make shit. In fact their salary is more like a cap, they can make up to 10 mil lets say from net profits but no more than that.

CG effects save them so much over practical, im willing to bet most budgets arent even a quarter of the real cost associated with most films.
