I started with nothing, with no family help, cleaning toilets. Along with Common Core, I also forsee more policies being put in place that make it harder for teachers to discipline students, particularly nonwhite ones, when that's what's going to be necessary to keep these apes in line. I don't see myself being happy in that environment. Even if there are still schools where I can teach now and be mostly okay, in 20 years there won't be, and I'll have to have shoved multiculti shit down the throat of students to keep with the party line.

So I'm about 30k in debt with no degree and don't want to finish. I don't know what I can do, I'm unemployed now and looking for a low-paying entry level job though I have little work experience and most of it is McJobs. I have no prospects and no idea what I want to do or what I could do.

Nothing breaching non-disclosure but finding the kind of attitude and work it takes to start one would be helpful and you're probably not pozzed as fuck. I've got some ideas for start ups but asking someone whose already on the path can't hurt. Sage because only slightly related to thread topic.

What should be done and what needs to be done is tying up and starting up important networks now. Preferably through your own family, so that when the time comes, you can offer services to others while being able to rely on others for basic services like medical care and whatnot. Going back to what once was, with communities and close bonds between families and their extended networks instead of this atomized society where you just work yourself to death.

Well, it helps to have talked to people that own their own businesses and those that have started their own. Then you can see for yourself that it is possible, that you too can do it. Its hard to soar with the eagles when you hang out with the turkeys.

There are community college classes on doing a business start-up. The big thibg for your first business in my opinion, don't try to be original. Do what works. You are investing a lot into your first business, so you want to do something that works. If you were a farmer you wouldn't try to grow a new species of potatoe for your first crop, you'd use what was known to work well. This applies to making and selling all kinds of stuff. For example, you may have an original thinker like John Browning making new gun designs, but today? See Kimber for example, their bread & butter is making the 100+ year old design, the 1911 pistol. They weren't original in this, they just made what people wanted. Kimber today is a large company with hundreds of employees. I say, plenty of time to be unique, but can you run a hotdog stand and make it work? If you can't do even this much, why would you dream of building rockets? Build success on top of success, and that means having gaining an understanding of how a business works. Winners aren't losers. Don't lose. Now we know that we can't control everything that happens, but don't be so eager to open a shop that applies only to a unique and small set of customers. Everyone gets passionate about their ideas, but remember that when you are doing this profit, you have to be more detached and willing to let go of a bad business. Don't run a business where you lose your shirt trying to keep it afloat, that's what I'm trying to get across. Know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. If you manage that you should find that you can make some money and not get taken for a ride by your good intentions. The best thing is where you provide a nice product or service and get a fair return, not where you are scrapping at the margins.
