Not really, actually. GPS receivers only care about the timestamp difference, so they are agnostic to any potential clock shift that the satellites are uniformly experiencing.

It is also interesting to note that GPS coverage tends to follow cell phone coverage when you look at it in detail, as opposed to the expected blanket coverage that you would get from orbital signals.

That's because most "GPS" systems, such as cellphones, don't actually go through satellites. The cheapo ones just piggyback ontop of wireless carriers. It's called AGPS.

A true GPS receiver works pretty much anywhere, but it might be more accurate in certain areas (such as in North America) due to the satellite orbits.

cellphone GPS is only good for someone driving short distances and within a city. using it will drain the battery quickly, and it will never be as accurate. though some of them have more updated maps and traffic info, but all of that is useless if you cant connect.

It also reflects heat before it gets in too, venus is C02 atmosphere on steroids, its surface temperature is insanely hot.
As for C02 weight, it's still lighter than quite a few gases. That doesn't matter anyway, oxegen is also lighter, yet it doesn't fly out of our reach, wind stirs it up. CO2 is just less effective at reaching higher altitudes than gases like CO, which is why you hear them going off on how it's a worse greenhouse gas.
Personally I'm all for cutting unsustainable fossil fuels and using alternative and sustainable energy, so it doesn't really matter much to me whether they're artificially driving up scarcity or lying to the general public about that.
