this used to be a temple dedicated to Nemesis according to archeologists

Islam destroys history.

Europe rebuilds it.

moar liek "europe rebuilds their culture and then invites hordes of raging muslims to destroy it because after all there are no differences between cultures"

this is Eastern Europe we're talking about

...

Destroy the shitskins first, rebuild architecture from 2000 years ago after that

I think Romania should restore their capital first and foremost. It looks like shit.

Why can't they leave the history as is and build a replica down the street?

This. Also:
lol

As a Romanian I find that offensive

there's not much value in preserving the truncated wall fragments as they are, beside having a field of ruins where all you can get from the past is a measure of the ravages of time
there are lots of places like that in europe already
recreating what once was with the purpose of making the place usable today as it once was is much better

but
I seriously hope that this is just what the 1year administrative work did cost, otherwise it's a joke

Nah, they’re just going to rebuild them out of plastic.

but foreign powers won't intervene if we rebuilt architecture

Kek. It's true though. And as a European it makes me mad to think about what the commie jew fucks did to our beautiful and historic cities on our continent.

The decadence of western society never ceases to disgust me.

restoring an archeological site? decadence?
did you check the definition of this word?

I think it will come in handy in the next years.

As a romanian, I can tell you the capital is absolute garbage. It's a post-soviet shithole full of dilapidated commie block spam and stray dogs.

It was MUCH better back in the day.

Say whatever you want about the tenets of Soviet Socialism but the commieblocs are intimidating.

Shouldn't have turned on us after Jassy

They need to be blown up. Bucharest should and must be restored to it's former beauty.

Oosh fam. It's almost painful to watch. The left absolutely HATES beauty.

Hail Caesar!
Leftists butthurt everywhere when the might of Rome rises from its grave

romanians may have more slavic than Latinoc blood now but they're doing the right thing

It's a post ceausescu shithole. The soviets had little to do with it. Stalin even liked that type of architecture.

Caucescu was possibly the dumbest human being to ever run a country.

The man barely finished elementary school.

It's a good idea.

There are some ruined Palaces in Italy (and other areas) that are better off being restored.

How cool would it be to go visit a Roman era mansion and experience it as it was… instead of just looking at a ruined building.

They should also do this with Caracalla's baths. It'd be better for tourism.

Yeah, aesthetically and culturally it was shit but you have to give at least some credit for getting us out of ((international economic traps)) and paying off all our external debt before he was "conveniently" removed from power and shot.

Get ready for some statues of kangs.

Roman heritage is a masonic meme spread by Transylvanian faggots. The true Romanian genotype is Thracian.

Prove me wrong.
Pro tip: you can't.

This 100% Roman kang shit needs to stop now.

A genuine nationalist is always preferable to a globalist, no matter how high the bodies are stacked.

Falxes are pretty metal 2bh

"Solomon … in the eyes of Israelite historians, marked the apex of Israelite achievement. Curiously, no reference to him or his father David, or their empire in a non-Israelite source is known … "

– Isserlin, The Israelites, p72.

Daily reminder that Romanians literally think they're the last true Romans.

Reminds me of how Greece was considering rebuilding the Colossus in Rhodes, to attract the much needed tourism.

I mean, with 21st century technology, it should be much easier, right?

Turns out they don't have money to make such a thing.

Solmon worshipped demons and had about a thousand pagan wives though which resulted in israel being cursed. If that's their high point, what is their low point?

...

This is Romania we're talking about.
EUR 4.5 mil means EUR 300,000 for the project itself and 4.2 mil for bribes and pocketed by politicians.
Would be nice if it actually happened though.

Reminder: Most historical buildings and documents in the Balkans were destroyed bu the t*rks during their invasion. Their purpose was to separate the people there from their historical roots.

...

...

rude

I would start asap, (((ISIS))) is destroying historical landmarks everywhere

It'll be easier, BUT just so you know, a standing (with two feet apart) statue is architecturally "impossible". Think of the Statue of Liberty.

I'm of course not saying in the future with stronger/lighter materials we cannot "recreate" it to be the ones shown in PAINTINGS.

...

Why would ISIS target Romania of all places?
