AT went berserk with its hiatus if you catch my drift, Preboot wont air until who the fuck knows, just 2 episodes to finish their season and they won't bother to air them
Let us remember what we've been through and what we have yet to look forward too.
Nathaniel Mitchell
And the Lolcow of the year award goes to… Power Girl Autist !
Hunter Moore
who said cuck
Charles Ortiz
JOJO LIVES How are all of you? Is anyone hype for the next ep? What are we up to now friends? Sheer Heart Attack? or Atom Heart Father? Missed the last few episodes last I heard was Harvest+Cinderella.
Dylan Watson
What are we up to? Duwang is beautiful, Shigechi had his sandwich stolen and Killer Queen is out. And KQ looks kinda weird in anime form. He looks more like a gaunt ghost than a cat.
Connor Gray
-Rohan punching an 12 year old kid -Josuke burning Rohan's house -Mikitaka the Ayy lmao -Highway Star
This week's QUALITY was unforgivable
Charles Hernandez
Up to Quiet Life already, eh? Did they use Deadly Queen like ASB? Or did they go full reatard like with Pearl Jam (Seriously, Pole Jam? Even after Araki gave his go ahead on Opal Jam?)
Christian Lopez
Yup, it's still Deadly Queen.
Jose Cruz
More like Holla Forums Jam
I'm honestly suprised that they didn't change Cinderella, but considering Cinderella is not that big of a band compared to Queen or Pearl Jam that shouldn't be much of a stretch, or maybe they didn't went full asshole with the copyright like with Bad Company or Surface
Josiah Long
Though, I have to say the Shadowed Version of Killer Queen looks badass though.
Ryder Morgan
So how is 7SU2 coming along?
I haven't really been following it since I think last year.
I hope it hasn't died yet.
Juan Hill
It hasn't They updated Red Light Special's art last week, during the Power Girl autist outbreak
Connor Fisher
Still chugging along. Most main character assets are done at this point, work continues on sprite and arts and music while we figure stuff out for the battle system. We hope to have a short playable demo within the next few months.
Have some concept art to tide you over.
As always, it'd get developed faster if we had more help!
Ryan Lopez
Di..did DP just pulled a Dragon ball super on us at the end?
Cameron Thomas
Holy shit, that made me fucking cringe in a way I don't think Araki has done quite before. It's like he was reading too much Junji ito at the time.
Adrian Carter
But you have to admit, they made Shigechi a lot more, how should I put it, adorable? Especially we know he's going to croak next week. RIP Shigechi, you adorable little ball of greed.
Zachary Jones
And speaking of Dragon Ball, I found this one a couple of weeks ago.
Jacob Johnson
OK, who is this semen demon?
Samuel Harris
true, those bounce sound effects are too adorable
Heyy das pretty good, also damn i am not used to listen to that on japanese, kinda overwellming
Kevin Nelson
She hasn't been officially introduced yet, so mild spoilers: She's a police officer who worked under Ryohei and investigates Josuke and MC as suspects after the whole Angelo event
Jacob Peterson
You know what we need? A collab between Junji Ito and Araki. A bizarre horror story, if you will.
Asher Bailey
There's rumors that Diamond is Unbreakable is only going up to 24 episodes, and another saying it's maxing out at 39
Which one should I believe? How will they change the art style for Vento Aureo?
Jaxon Cruz
Given that Kira might just end up being a four parter, we could see them just ending it after that with a nice round 24 episodes.
Dylan Fisher
Do you think Vento Aureo will go for a more crime noir/sin city art style for the season?
Henry Howard
...
Camden Moore
Hopefully by hiring an artist who can actually do Araki's style. Part 4 has looked like trash.
Nicholas Torres
I hope for that too, though I also want to see them bring back the cel-shaded openings that season 1 had
Landon Flores
Look pal, if you're trying to make it the equivalent of Dr.Pillgoblin you are not doing a good job at it The art is nice tho
Luke King
yes
Though to be fair Stardust Crusaders had some QUALITY as well. Likely their saving the budget for another upcoming scene, but certainly seems odd not to go all out with a scene involving the lead villain, then again they also did that with Stardust Crusaders
Mason Ortiz
You know what, you fuckers are about on par with Homestuck General. Take your circlejerk to /a/.
Owen Diaz
So…you would rather talk about something that does nothing but frustrates its viewers with writers who think they are deep but really they as about as shallow as a puddle?
Juan King
How are those different? One is… the other is…. People are going to talk about it one way or another, would bullshitting our way through the weeks episode of Cuckventure Time before hand make you any less booty bothered?
Benjamin Clark
Thoughts on the OST so far ?
Landon Powell
...
Jack Gomez
...
Aaron Jenkins
As much as I love Queen, I don't think they'll get the rights to use any of their songs, I imagine it was a pain already to get Roundabout for Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency
Nicholas Morales
So what did everyone think of Jihad Cat's annie-may appearance?
Eli Hill
I don't know whether it was or not, I'm also not sure of how hard it was to get Walk like an Eguyptian
Luke King
QUALITY and a lot of iconic panels not being properly adapted made it a disappointment Like when KQ pops out for the first time is one of the most iconic poses and panels from Part 4, but in the animu it didn't got the dramatic close-up, and the QUALITY of Killer Queen's face and Bowie's hair going super Saiyan for no reason killed it
Andrew Perry
I felt the same way. I hope shit improves in future episodes, because appearance-wise IRA Feline is probably my favorite stand out of the entire series so far. The hand fetishist is one of my favorite villains too, and so far it looks like they're getting his creepy vibe down in an alright manner, but the super saiyan shit was gay as fuck.
Matthew Green
...
Kayden Cox
Ito already does bizarre horror stories though. Unless you mean double bizarre then you're an absolute madman.
Grayson Peterson
I'm just glad your butthurt autism attack hasn't completely ruined Holla Forums like you were trying to do. We're going to be in AT threads for awhile yet fucko, so deal with it.
I have no idea why you would want to discuss AT around here anyway, considering the show's content after season 3 it's borderline impossible to talk about it here unironically.
You would have far better luck on halfchan honestly.
Easton Price
I would only stretch that up to first half of S5 because Farmwold was amusing enough
Jordan Sullivan
Does jojos bizare adventure stay cucked after the second season with the cops and the diner scene or is that just a one time thing
I pretty much stopped watching right after the diner scene because 2 muh racism and muh evil whites scenes back to back is pretty gay
Jace Anderson
You know part 2 is the part that's often criticised for supposed Nazi apologism, right?
Jaxon Collins
Are you mentally retarded ?
If you're going to be the Holla Forums-wannabe, at least watch it for Storheim Or better yet, don't be a fag and read the mango
John Mitchell
Kill yourself.
Luis Price
This is a good answer thanks famioli
I don't even go to pol, ayy
You guys are pretty booty blasted about a simple question, like I said I stopped watching immediately after the restaurant scene where that fat guy is complaining about the black since usually in most shows that's where the downward spiral begins
I'm going to probably watch more now though knowing it's not that pozed
Zachary Bailey
Not just any fucking Nazi! Rudol von Strohiem is probably the most based National Socialist in all of fiction. As far as side characters go, (i.e. not main Brojo's like Okuyasu and Gyro) He, Polnareff, and Mista rank in my top three.
Joshua Wood
Part 2 shows the Nazi's as the good guys later on and being funded by the Speedwagon Foundation. The only thing I could guess you'd feel as if it's cucked later on is that Jotaro, Josuke and Jolyne are white-asian mixed and that part six has a larger cast of female characters, though it's below half. Besides, why wouldn't someone call out a black kid to leave in 1938 America?
Elijah Lee
So let me get this straight. You stopped watching the first fucking episode of Battle Tendency less than three minutes in because they had a scene where a thieving black kid was getting hassled by corrupt cops. You stopped watching less three minutes in because you believed that the story was pozzed even though it was based on a manga that came out in 1987.
If I understand you correctly, you saw a nigger and corrupt cops, which offended you to the point that you stopped watching it entirely. Then you came to Holla Forums to ask if Battle Tendency had any similar content in it so you could avoid further emotional distress.
Basically, you got triggered by the scene and found it "problematic". I suggest you go open a fucking twitter account with the other over-sensitive dickheads and start bitching about trivial shit nobody cares about.
Dominic Bennett
Put it this way: You're eating dinner with your family and friends, and then some shithead comes and starts shit-talking your guests in front of everyone, you would get angry at that retard no matter what Change the characters involved and it would have gone the same way, MC and company are eating dinner, shithead drops by, start insulting MC's friends, MC beats the living shit out of aforementioned shithead, proceed
Nolan Diaz
So do you just drop things entirely after the first sign of them potentially disagreeing with your politics or some shit? The ironic thing about you crying about part 2 being cucked is that the Nazis are good guys in that part.
When the wops are talking shit about Smokey Joseph shits his pants more about them fucking with one of his buddies and his grandmother than the issue of them being racist.
Logan Martin
I understand that, but is crying about why someone is being a dick at the black kid who just so happens to be a friend of Joseph. It's like he doesn't realize the time period where whites openly voice themselves in public on not wanting blacks in their stores.
Charles Ward
mah fuckin nigga
Oliver Williams
Ayy lmao, I totally didn't just see the thread in the catalogue while looking at other co threads and decide to stop In and ask, jee wiz you sure are a retard user.
Obviously people were racists in the time period but if I wanted to see blacks being harassed by evil white men I'd go watch any other show or movie ever based around that time. I was literally just asking if this is a persistent theme throughout the rest of the show since it happened twice one after another within like 5 minutes of the start of the season.
It's not even that I care that much anymore but seeing the same thing over and over again is pretty lame. Especially when it's forced in, granted I did only get like a little into the episode. But my question was answered that it is NOT a persistent theme so I'll probably watch more now.
You can all calm down now.
Ethan Carter
Why?
Nathaniel Scott
You asked a retarded question, user. If it was a recurring theme in the show, Anons here wouldn't follow this series nor have a general that encompass 3 to 4 boards on Holla Forums.
Liam Richardson
Well if you get that asshurt over an incidental character who effectively disappears after this scene, you might as well stop now.
In part 6 a black guy ends up surpasses his white master against all odds and wins.
Charles Jones
Not only does he win, he's single-handedly responsible for more MC and secondary character deaths than any other villain in the entire series so far. This isn't even counting the fact that he probably killed hundreds before doing the time reset shit.
Father Pucci was a real son of a bitch.
Robert Reyes
Not to mention he'd probably shit blood when he gets to part 3 and realizes one of the MCs (and probably the best side character not counting Polnareff) is a black Egyptian named Mohammad Avdol.
Nathaniel Cruz
This is a major fucking art problem that I never ever thought about
Benjamin Ross
I view it as him raising his left heel and leg slightly enough to give that illusion.
It looks strange regardless though, there is no disagreeing about this. Araki is a strange motherfucker and his art and stories reflect this.
Christopher Bennett
His right hip is raised and the leg is hyperextended. It's not as bad as you make it out to be.
And he is a gay priest after all, who knows how flexible they are
Levi White
I don't think any amount of stretching could make the body work like that
Austin Hall
Welcome to JJBA. Enjoy your stay. If you actually naturally achieve these poses then you will rightfully be immortalized within the Jojo hall of fame. Good luck to you in this endeavor.
Jackson Morris
Didn't Araki say some of the poses were actually physically impossible?
Noah Ortiz
You don't need the author to tell you that one. Some of these poses are only possible for the immortal gods.
Connor Bell
But all of the poses are mostly just simple contortion, part 1-3 are mostly action kung-fu poses and 4-8 are sexualized stand and man fuccboi
Kayden Hughes
HE'S SICILIAN That's Italian. He even gets the KKK to attempt a murder no way is he black.
Mason Brown
(checked)
Anyone can explain how Gay Black Priest is related to Jamiroquai?
Connor Sanchez
They're twins. A woman who gave birth to a dying half-black stillborn switched it with Weather Report.
Julian Adams
First, Italy was taken over by niggers, making dirty wops, which were impure italians, who originally had blond hair, like the true ubermensch second, just because someone came from another part of a now bastardized country of illegitimate bloodlines does not make them of that country's main blood
second, enrico and weza were either both or one of them was adopted.
Jose Campbell
Then explain Weather Report's Joestar birthmark?
Jonathan Turner
Show me the panel because fuck if I remember that, also that only further proves that one or both of them is adopted
Eli Foster
...
Jordan Evans
Fuck, messed up that post.
My point was going to be that because Pucci absorbed the green baby he got a joestar birthmark and so do all of his blood relatives i.e. Weather Report. Also remember his main beef with Weather was that he was dating their sister and didn't even know it.
Eli Clark
Pucci gets the mark because he absorbs DIO's holly stand, yes, but I don't think that transfers to anyone else, I think that's just another thing, that I also can't explain. Part 6 was really weird and I kinda got a little lost after reading about dio having 50 new bastards with stands and people turning/not turning into snails
Jeremiah Cooper
They make it a point that it only manifests onto Weather after it does on Pucci and that all those with the mark are being drawn towards one another, fucking re-read the part if your so confused.
Gabriel Taylor
man, part 6 is dumber than I remember
Grayson Edwards
I know this sounds stupid, but some people are saying that chapter 8's antagonist will be Kars
Jackson Baker
Never made sense to me.
I rather it was Santana if we were going to have a Part 2 villain; which I find unlikely as a possibility anyway
Bentley Diaz
The KKK was in Florida
Julian Perry
Some people are saying Tsurugi might be the antagonist, because of Paper Moon King being based off the song Paper Moon, which has lyrics about the world being fake. If this is the case then the stand would need to evolve into a stronger second act, maybe it could be called "Dark Side of the Moon"
Christian Jones
It's probably some OC donut steel, like 90% of the cast that they'll try to shove in your face
Adrian Clark
You realize the first 7SU had original characters too, right?
Dominic Rogers
It's probably the worst part so far.
Samuel Barnes
No, that's definitely Part 5.
Sebastian Reed
...
William Cox
But part 5 had good secondary characters and evil henchmen. Giorno was a terrible MC though, and while Diavolo was a creepy as shit villain his stand was pretty much just a shittier version of The World. It also made no sense why he didn't just get someone to shoot his daughter or something instead of doing all the convoluted bullshit so he could do it himself.
Part 6 was completely forgettable trash though, and if it wasn't for Pucci's time reset shit nobody would remember it. Jolyne and FF were cute though.
Hudson Davis
Gio is pure bullshit, his plan for making a vaccine for Purple Haze's life-eating virus was bullshit
Julian Jones
That whole chapter confused the shit out of me.
Easton Wright
will 7SU2 have a "main villain" like Vins?
Landon Wood
Yes. Spoilers ahoy:
The main OC villain is a Pillar Woman named Yuutu (U2) who escaped Kars' genocide tens of thousands of years ago. Her mask is the one Vins used in the first game to become a vampire, and her goal is to destroy SPW, recover Santana, and use the arrows to give herself a stand and create a stand user army
Eli Turner
And how does Kira's quest for a quiet life gets involved into her plan ?
Jayden Carter
It doesn't - unlike Dio and Vins, Kira's desire to lead a quiet life doesn't connect him to Yuutu and her anti-SPW agenda. Basically, while you're solving serial killer mysteries in Morioh, there's other shit going on you'll have to deal with at the same time involving SPW, Pillar Men, Hamon, and Joseph
Has anyone tried making something like an alternate part 7 not set in the SBR timeline?
Jackson Foster
not afaik
Oliver Cox
I thought of some ideas for what it would be like
Mason Price
Yeah, for a second, the moment you had to fight them. The only exception was Vins, since she was a major villain and almost the center of the story for MC. So unless she is the equivalent of Vins for this part, she's probably the waifu of someone on the team, that they wanted to put in the game and she's going to stick with the party 90% of the time. At least that's the feeling it gives me from reading and watching how she's presented.
Andrew Kelly
So, from the blurb here and some concept art, you've determined that she's someone's waifu and will be in the party 90% of the time? Because that's literally the extent of "how she's presented" at this point so it just sounds like you're projecting.
Also, Part 4 is in a single town and Part 3 was across half the planet. You're going to see pretty much all of the NPCs more than once, and some of them may even be in the party. If that's all it takes to make a character a "waifu" then the game probably isn't up your ghost alley.
Josiah Nguyen
And the fact that she was basically the only npc getting posted on the old threads? or even talked about? That you put her in the tumblr pic with the main protagonists? apparently she was even more important than rohan since he's not even in there.
sounds like you're butthurt because someone disagree with you
So there are other npc that are important or going to be in the party, but you decide to constantly only show her when talking about them? why would you do that?
If when i'm going to play the game and you'll prove me wrong then good, but i doubt it.
Joseph Morgan
These seem interesting but if you don't mind I have some ideas to consider
The name I like the use of Johnny Cash however this name breaks the pattern of being a 'Jojo' as you can't really make it out of his name. You can however make it Jijo, or Joji as 集 has an equivalent character in chinese of 'ji' making the Bangkok setting fitting for an admittedly 'on the nose' joke.
Also it's hard to tell who he's the son of unless, like Josuke he's an illegitimate child of Jotaro, Josuke, or Giorno.
Last the stand seems like it's ability while different is a little too close to Kraft Works at least to me. Might I suggest that Crazy Train is an 'unstoppable force' stand Where no matter what it's punches will hit it's target without being effected by the resistance and that it could break the typical limits of range by having a charging attack that however would require it to stay on one path until it hits something making it somewhat easy to avoid and leaving Joten unprotected during the attack. Also it would make it rather fitting if he manages to break that limitation during the final fight and fit with the chorus of the song.
Jack Rodriguez
Because she's the first OC character who appears in the game, and the first one which we designed, so there's extra concept art of her sitting around. Also, because she's already been "semi-revealed" in official art, meaning she's an NPC character we can talk about without spoiling stuff too much.
I mean, do you want every single NPC character to get spoiled, user? We could show off content for other characters but we've been intentionally avoiding doing so for the most part.
Isaiah Ross
Chances are he's only posting her because that's the only concept art of an NPC that he has. Besides the main character designs and Stands 7SU2 is in such early development that they don't even have an idea of what the battle system is going to play like let alone what the other NPCs are going to do. At least that's what it looks like to me. I don't think this is waifuism, though it could be, it's just the fact that they don't HAVE anything else to show. Just concept art and the like, and even then just concept art of a few characters.
Adrian Wright
Man, we posted concept art of a different character earlier in the thread. I'm just going to have to dump a bunch of them, huh? Spoiler'd in case people don't want to know yet.
Completely untrue.
Dylan Moore
Joji might also work, I was thinking he would be either the grandson of Jotaro or Josuke, the man who stole the skull would be named Professor Till Rammstein, and he works for the main villain, who is the daughter of Giorno names Dianna Rose, which is a reference to Dianna Ross. The chapter would also introduce the concept of prologues, which are like a stand's incomplete form.
Xavier Russell
You might wanna give yourself more time after Stone Ocean than just 20 years.
Jacob Ward
30 or 40 years then. Some other members of the Joestar bloodline would reappear, in this case Shizuka would be older and her stand would gain a new act known as The Invisible Man, as a reference to the Queen song of the same name. Dianna's design would be a reference to Marilyn Monroe, her stand would first manifest as a virus that takes over computers, it then becomes self aware and gains a physical form. Her Stand is called Computer God, its main ability is digitizing matter as well as being able to hijack electronics and cause rolling blackouts. Its design would be akin to a Terminator's skeleton but more armored, with a large power button shaped core in its chest, as well as a power glove-esque device on its left arm. The head would have two glowing red eyes and a triangular crest similar to The World, but on a face akin to a robotic skull with its teeth in a permanent grin. To go with the whole computer aesthetic it would also have tron lines.
its stand cry would be similar to Dio's or giorno's but like Soft and Wet it would throw in a similar sounding word, so instead of "mudamudmudamuda" it would be "mudamudamudamouda", "mouda" meaning heavy hit. Unlike the other Dio bloodline stands its body would primarily be silver with yellow for the head crest, core, and tron lines. Crazy Train would have a very steampunk design, primarily using copper, gold, and browns for the body with the face and limbs being blue. The face would have no actual mouth to speak of, instead having a cowcatcher-like jaw piece and a smokestack that sits on a crown-like crest. the design would be based off a steam locomotive, as well as being rather bulky.
Chase Brooks
I forgot to mention that the reason that Rammstein stole Dio's skull and why he's being chased by Joji and the gang is because he wants to use the skull to clone Dio
Ethan Stewart
Speaking of OC NPC, how's [Hero in a Dream] going ?
Robert Ross
Tsurugi is like 9, though.
More.
Isaac Martin
...
Leo Wright
Boingo and Death 13 are the main examples, Janken Boy wasn't exactly evil, just too much of a brat
Julian Allen
Proof that Holla Forums is the sith board.
Nihilism is our force lightning. What can you take from a board that has lost everything? What can you do to us that the ppg reboot didn't
Blake Cook
Though, calling Boingo evil is a bit subjective. Boingo is completely harmless. Mannish Boy on the other hand.
Joshua Moore
What you can do to us that an entire season of Adventure Time turning into "NTR+Evangelion: the cartoon" didn't ? What you can do to us that year after year of our favourite comics being overtaken by cucks and tumblrcunts didn't ? What you can do to us that Squirrel Tranny, Kate Leth's Hellcat, [UNSOLICITED OPINIONS ON ISRAEL], IDW's Judge Dredd and so many other bullshit didn't ?
We just didn't fell into the abyss, we came back from the fucking thing
Who knows where Dio found Mannish Boy, that child wasn't human, I can assure you that
Liam Parker
Boingo could have become a reformed character, and he's not the same tier as say Dio or Enya and son. He's sort of on the same level as Hol Horse, a dick really.
And Mannish/Death 13 wasn't even fucking human, look at those fangs.
Liam Perry
Should I tell you about the other characters of Heaven and Hell and their stands?
Isaiah Rivera
pls don't
Juan Moore
If she's after the Stand Arrow, wouldn't make more sense if she went after Keicho, Akira, Atom Heart Father and Kira himself ?
Parker Fisher
They might interact with regards to Kira's arrow, but she's more interested in SPW since they have multiple arrows and also Santana, who she wants to breed a new race of PillarPeople with.
It's one of a few stands that's more of a "town feature" than part of the story, so it's been put on the back burner right now while we do plot-related stuff. It's still going to be the comic store, though.
Parker Edwards
Do they have a stand idea for this character yet? I think a cool name for it would be "Queens of the Stone Age"
Camden Ortiz
Or Hawkmoon 269 (or if it's too on the nose, H-269) or Until The End of The World.
Landon Robinson
I'm not trying to, I'm just trying to add things to something that's meant to be completely seperate
Hunter Bailey
I could think of a few more
Ethan Ortiz
Princes of the Universe fits the theme.
Jordan Morgan
I was going to say he could have stolen a random babby and turned it into a vampire, but then I remembered they first encountered him during the day.
Ethan Cook
Did she found a way to cheat on sunlight ?
Isaiah Thompson
Nigga wot? Jolyne in the hole fighting all those assholes while under the effects of Survivor was one of my personal favorite parts of Stone Ocean, on top of a number of other memorable battles such as Jumpin' Jack Flash, Limp Bizkit, and the fuckery that was Bohemian Rhapsody.
Also everybody says Foo Fighters the best and while she was great best girl of Part 6 was definitely Hermes.
Joseph Cox
Well Santana and Esidisi showed they can climb inside of and manipulate the human body, so she could be hiding inside a human who she reshaped to look like herself.
Kayden Sanchez
No. While is an option, it's easier to live entirely at night in 1999 than it was back during part 2, and she has more experience living around humans than Kars and co. ever did, so she's quite adept at blending in.
Juan Cox
I'm wondering if Angelo will play a part in her schemes since he is technically a living stone creature.
Cameron Myers
Probably not, its not like he can do anything anyway, really.
Colton Harris
Well vampires and the pillar men have shown they can reshape and reform organic matter and make all kinds of monstrosities, so maybe she could reshape him into a stone golem servant to do her bidding in daylight. Since the Angelo rock never talks she could have taken him out while leaving the rest of the rock there.
Christian Jones
The rock could be shaped into a golem, but it's still rock. Neither Angelo nor the pillarpeople have the power to make someone a "Rock Person" like in Part 8 or whatever. If he got reshaped he'd still be incapable of doing anything, he'd just be golem shaped now.
Cameron Torres
Well he seemed capable of moving some of his body before Josuke had Crazy Diamond hit him a second time. He just seemed to be stuck in place by the rest of the rock. I just don't think it would be too out of place of a thing to happen in this series.
Wyatt Anderson
That's just cuz he hadn't fully merged with the rock at that point. He can't even control his stand after the second time Josuke attacks him.
Brody Garcia
Because Diavolo's number 1 priority is keeping his identity secret, in a world of stand users how would he know if she was really killed? Or what if she was handed over to someone who could fake her death? Or read her memories?
Diavolo would have to kill her himself to believe he's totally secure.
Completely false, although arguably more powerful he had a complete upper-hand as long as he couldn't be ambushed, hence his obsession with staying anonymous.
Because Araki wanted you to carry about the gang as a whole rather than just Giorno, he hasn't made a singluar MC focused part since like part 2.
Diavolo is underrated, he had an interested power set and he acted fairly plausible for a legit mentally ill character.
shit fan game
Ayden Morales
Actually you bring up a good point, what happened to Angelos stand? I know they crushed it in the rubber glove, but it didn't kill Angelo when that happened. Then he got fused into the rock, so he's not dead. So is his stand still alive and sitting in that glove? Or is he just braindead in the rock and can't summon it?
Matthew Cox
This. We can see he's got enough intellect left to go "Ugh" when Koichi says good morning to him, but that's about it. That plus the way the glove flopped to the ground after Angelo got attacked again makes me think he doesn't have the mental capacity to summon it anymore, otherwise he would have been using it to attack Josuke or something every morning when he walked past.
Grayson Anderson
This does raise a point though, how aware is Angelo in the rock? Same can be questioned about Enigma Boy later who gets the same treatment but with a book, honestly sort of surprised no one raises any objections on the fucked up shit Josuke does with his stand, to the point that it's probably a mercy the universe got fucked up and they were released from some form of existential hell.
Levi Morales
I started watching Stardust Crusaders recently and the original series was better
Mason Gray
Araki's art is great.
lmao man this art is shit
Jacob Baker
Well, Angelo was a rapist/murderer and Terunosuke kidnapped a bunch of people and tried to kill them, so it's kind of fitting. Also the only witnesses to those were Jotaro and Yuuya and they don't really seem like the type to complain.
Lucas Perry
who?
Colton Rivera
Highway Star
Julian Taylor
So he made Giorno boring as fuck on purpose? Why would he intentionally make Giorno shitty when he's clearly perfectly capable of creating secondary characters that rival or even surpass one of the better MCs in likeability?
I cared plenty for the gang as a whole in part 3 and 4, and definitely part 7. I'm liking 8's characters so far as well. Part 6 was sort of a mixed bag for me, but I still gave a fuck when they all died at the end.
Giorno however just felt like he was some side character tacked onto the main gang, sort of like that random little girl from part 3, except he never fucked off.
Gavin White
Everyone always blames the translation for Giorno being shit, but he doesn't even have that many lines. Bruno and Mista steal the show for all of Part 5, and Bruno would have made a better Jojo.
And that's not even getting into how GE is mary sue as fuck as far as stands go.
Cameron Morris
Giorno's dreams aren't even explained to the gang about 1/4-1/2 of the way through, until then they're just trying to survive in Passione until the Boss pisses off Bruno, kicking off the entire plot. Giorno's journey isn't a solo one, and that's the point.
I don't think Giorno was shitty, and neither does Araki. Did you just wanted a copypasted Josuke/Joseph/Jotaro again?
No, he was just part of the gang and was a newbie with shit to prove, hence why he suicidally does a bunch of OP shit to earn the gang's respect. He doesn't defeat Diavolo (despite the asspull) without growing or deserving it.
The Gang in part 5 is about as equally important as Giorno himself, which is the complete opposite of Diavolo.
I dunno why, but only english speakers seem to mix this, the Japs love all of part 5's characters equally.
Jackson Moore
No, and I don't think I implied that I did. I just found him incredibly dull overall.
Maybe some shit got lost in translation.
Elijah Cook
There was barely anything to translate, he's like a side-note in his own part. Most chapters where he's even featured he either has no lines or someone else does most of the talking and then Giorno just pulls out some bullshit for the win.
I guess we'll see when the new translation is done but I really doubt it'll make a difference. Japs just have shit taste.
Hudson Green
This.
Let's remember that Japan also hates parts 2, 4, and 7 and think Phantom Blood was one of the better parts. Take whatever the Japs say with a grain of salt.
Tyler Morris
Araki tries to do something different with every part, and even "forgets" old characters because it's fucking amateur to bring back old characters for fanfare (see old joseph + jotaro in part 4, they're there but not enough to steal the spotlight)
part 5 was also arguably the last "shonen" jojo, Giorno is there to be the quiet "identify with this guy" character.
I guess Araki is just a dumb writer :/
Parker Garcia
Even if he has few lines, I think he could have said something in the original Japanese version that stuck a chord with people, but when translated to English it just comes out all fucked up and stupid looking. Like when the translator has to explain a joke because it makes absolutely no sense in English.
Cooper James
Well, considering how many story/character details he forgets in every single part…
We can't blame him though, when you're an immortal vampire memory is the first thing to go.
See, I don't remember any lines like that though. Most of his stuff translated pretty well from what I read.
I will admit though, his final attack during the Green Day chapter with 7 full pages of MUDA was pretty great.
Xavier Thompson
and this proves that summer is still here and needs to be go.
Cooper Robinson
True enough, but, JoJo is less about the writing, more about the fights, art and poses which fine for the most part. Though I would have like to see some characters that were enemies that were "retired" in previous parts comeback into other parts even for only a moment.

Mista, Bruno, Narancia, and Fugo were all well designed, beach boys, greatful dead, green day, and a bunch of other stands that were fought with names I can't remember had cool fucking fights, but none of it was written as well as the other parts, so, again, I forgot those things and what they even meant as far as the story went Fuck you and your implications, I can tell you only watch the anime because you're an ora ora ora faggot.
Carson Sullivan
great cuck chan meme my friend
In any case, you can see how Araki works compared from shonen part 1-6 and then once-a-month part 7-8 run.
He runs into plot holes and occasionally makes big mistakes because he has deadlines to meet, when he has an entire month to plot out a story you get great shit like Part 7/8, which have mostly minimal errors.
No, that was pretty well-written.
Diavolo and the gang's interactions were also pretty well done.
Araki's actually a great writer, please read his one-shot short stories/manga.
Julian Morales
man I'm actually mad right now, I don't usually become so disgusted by jew tactics.
Joseph Wood
Specifically, Under Execution Under Jailbreak.

Oy vey, I hope you don't live in Germany ya nat-see bastid, we have strong anti-hate laws…
Jason Gonzalez
Wait, I'm sure this has been brought up in the past, but what was the point of the little girl in part 3 showing up after they left her ass behind the first time?
Jose Gomez
Anne went to Hong Kong and was never seen again.
Lincoln Kelly
I think she was meant to be cute, but then she was just annoying.
Wyatt Brooks
I feel like she was originally brought on and was supposed to be endearing as a non-stand user character for a different POV but she was considered too annoying by the readers and Araki had to drop her in a hurried sense, similar to how supposedly Hol Horse was going to take Avdols place in the group after the Justice arc but he recanted last second.
I think Araki learned his lesson and utilized the 'Normal Character Locked out the Loop' in a much better way with Hayato at the end of part 4, but I dont think it's an archetype I want to see used again in this series.
Carter Cooper
He was probably mandated by his editors to include a girl character.
Xavier Peterson
I'm still wondering how that would have worked, since Hol Horse was buds with J.Geil and was responsible for Abdul's "death"

Colton James
Probably another flesh bud like with Kakyoin and Polnareff or some shit.
Gavin Butler
Maybe some sort of redemption arc for Horse. I do really like Hol Horse.

What do you think they'd do for a 3rd game after Eyes of Heaven?

You would need a gravity-based stand and then turn it into a Requiem Stand for tat
Dylan Campbell
You wouldn't need a requiem stand per se for such an OP ability. And a requiem form isn't always going to have powers that are an evolution of the regular form's
Jason Bell

Juan Reyes
He uses that for people, so it's likely not meant for such a large scale as an entire planet
Hunter Diaz
That's not how it works. I mean sure some stands manipulate physics but others can just do whatever they want. And member bohemian rhapsody wasn't a requiem Stan's and its range affected the entire planet
Oliver Cruz
Stopping time isn't the same as stopping the earth's rotation, I mean one that can make the earth stand still and stop spinning while time goes on normally
Matthew Campbell
Time as a concept in the jojo universe works on the idea of gravity and reference points, so dio effectively stops everything which in turn makes time, which is how we perceive being alive and at the same time remembering what happened in the past, appear halted. In short, Dio removes gravity from the field for all objects excluding himself, and therefore prevents the rotation and pull of planets on a universal scale. As an aside, Heavenly Maid has the exact opposite of dio's power endgame; he trades having a stand that takes other powers to have the power to speed time up.
Jaxson Bennett
You mean made in heaven. If there is an ability related to time that I would like to see it would be time being stolen or consumed. Where say time is taken from the enemy and used by the stand as extra time to gain the upper hand or get out of the way of an incoming attack. The user would see themselves normally but to anyone watching them their movements would be very sped up
Also on an unrelated note, have a poorly drawn The World Requiem
