It knew what it wanted to be unlike SATAM, which couldn't figure out if it was takeing itself seriously or not.

The show got better when it went all out in how over-the-top it was.

i'm not talking about cartoons where there's something to appeal to kids, and they still put in some clever mature writing that adults could enjoy too (like animaniacs or courage the cowardly dog), or something you grew up with and watch out of nostalgia, or something like the iron giant, where its so solid that anyone can enjoy it. i'm talking about stuff where the target demographic is strictly limited to people who just barely learned how to wipe their own ass, stuff exclusively made for babies and toddlers. stuff where, if you told another grown adult in a conversation that you actually watch and sincerely enjoy it, they would give you a funny look and avoid interacting with you in the future. stuff that you watch with your kid because they enjoy it, but on the inside, you want to hang yourself because of how excruciatingly brainless it is, and this is the 20th time you've been forced to watch it this week.

teletubbies, the wiggles, backyardigans, dora the explorer, peppa pig, this is the kind of stuff i'm talking about. a normal 70 year old man, devoid of dementia, alzheimer, or any mentally degenerative diseases, watching that while he eats breakfast.

I only watched Code Lyoko because I wanted to see more Sissi and Yumi fanservice. To be honest I don't feel any shame at all, but I figure anyone else in my situation would.

1. Amon from Legend of Korra was a meh villain at best whose threat escalated way too quickly for how short Book One is.

2. Lord Dominator from Wander Over Yonder was a mishandled character. There were too many times where Dominator's enemies look like they got the upper hand over her only for either Dominator to get a way out or for Wander/Hater to screw it all up. And while Hater does triumph against her his change was too sudden and should been seeded in more episodes.

I watch Steven Universe and I enjoy it. I used to like it more, but now I'm starting to see more and more flaws in it. Especially the fact Steven hasn't grown as a person at all and we're about 3 or 4 seasons into it.

I watch Adventure Time. It's not what it used to be, but there are still good episodes every now and again.

When I was a kid I had the biggest crush on pic related. Not so very odd these days, but back then waifus weren't really a thing so I was very cringey and IRL with it. I would divert any topic back to Jessie Bannon somehow. I had just learned how to spank my monkey and this was my go to girl, even when my friends had Playboys and net porn and shit. I got hooked on MLP and it awoke a special kind of autism that I didn't knew I have.
Hearing the lesbian horse say "Derpy" was the hypest moment that I've lived in front of a screen.
I bought the comics and a ton of merchandise, including japanese doujins and fanmade figures,
But then, they fired Faust to give wings to one of the main characters and made Equestria Girls, and I fucked off from the show and fandom.

And since I really needed a change of pace, I became a Berserkfag (this last part isn't shameful)

Star Vs. is only good for all the R34 it generates. Other than that, I can't stand the show all that much.

I'm surprised SU hasn't pissed me off as much as my example above has, despite the fact that it's the same thing here with me there…

Neither show is all that funny and both have slow/lethargic pacing in their storytelling I don't appreciate, especially with SU, as that show has been around longer, but ESPECIALLY with Star Vs., which has a short life span and isn't using it wisely AT ALL.

I always hated Marvel Comics and never liked Spiderman either until the movies with Kirsten Dunst and I always preferred DC but never liked their post-mid 80s stuff. I also think X-Men is the worst comic franchise of all time.

At one point, I found the banter on any board that discusses cartoons and anime much more enjoyable than cartoons and anime themselves, even though it mostly consisted of people bitching about how much they hated cartoons and anime.

But I realized why this is–it's not because I agree with all cartoons and anime being bad, it's because I'm just lonely and have no irl friends and I felt like I had to fit in by hating everything I enjoy.

Basically I was on Holla Forums on a particular thread about /ss/ at the time and we were discussing mother son rape because some shit head brought up Pearl and Steven from Crystal Dykes, and during the conversation I told some of the anons to check out milfz since it had some good stuff at the time. One user asked me if the site had any sibling porn too so I posting him a link to this favorite vid of mine at the time after copying the link. I then went to check my emails, and much to my surprise, Genndy actually responded to the email I sent him. We started talking about Samurai Jack, then I wanted to ask him if Huntor from that Evil Jack episode was an Imakandi (stupid question, I know, but bare with me), I then looked up a picture of Huntor from his appearance on Samurai Jack and proceeded to copy the link to the pic, but apparently the damn thing must've failed to do so or I misclicked or fuck who knows, all I know is that in my nervousness (since I'm talking to Genndy for pete's sake) I quickly posted the link and sent him the email in haste and excitement. I then closed the tab and decided to go check the picture of Huntor again to save it as a reaction pic since he's doing a pretty smug face, so when I click paste in the url, all I see is milfzr.com/brother-blackmails-sister-3
