What's some good sci-fi that isn't Star Wars or Star Trek

What's some good sci-fi that isn't Star Wars or Star Trek.

LOGH
Stargate SG-1 and Universe
Lexx

THX-1138
Alien
Robot and Frank

Until the End of the World
Hardware
Cherry 2000

...

Cherry 2000 is garbage. Grow up.

There is literally none.

Stargate Universe is bad, really bad, handicap lesbian sex bad. SG-1 on the other hand was a fun show.

You could have just asked for good sci-fi

...

The Moon is a Harsh Mistress

just take the Laloux pill mate

Terminator 1 (2 is also good but not kino)
Logan's Run
Freejack

...

...

...

...

I liked it.

...

Rate.

UFO

Yes. Why does nobody acknowledge this movie.

FISH, PLANKTON, SEA GREENS, AND PROTEIN FROM THE SEA.

Oh, OP, here's my offering, since most of the other anons posted (and reposted) bunch of good stuff already.

Battlestar, Caprica, Almost Human

...

...

That's not Holla Forums shithead really good book though

Maybe I'm a dumbass but that show was honestly pretty interesting

Yes it was. With a better cast (other than glau) and more budget, it would be the best sequel to Terminator.

And if they ended up solving the Skynet issue by replacing it by Cameron, as it seemed to be the idea it would have been a genius ending.

Autofix.

kino

Honestly, the Starship Troopers anime was better than the live action movie.

Moon
Enemy Mine
Arena
Gattaca
Dark City
Spaced Invaders
the Back to the Future trilogy
Galaxy Quest
Circle
Fifth Element
Galaxy Quest
Virtuosity
Equilibrium
District 9
Casshern

As far as shows, there's some sitcoms in here, but my favorite sci-fi is all there as well. In Fringe's case I only really recommend the first season.

The TV show was better than the movie, anything related to the franchise is better than the movie.

It's shit/10

TV:
Red Dwarf, Odyssey 5, The Expanse, Battlestar Galatica, Stargate Universe, Farscape

Firefly if you like leddit and tip fedora

Movies:
Moon

Colorful, rich universe, large scope & vision, he made it when he was a kid with fine-tuning from sci-fi comics which is why it has "that" tone, all that was bad was the happy ending.
Just a poster.
Robocop is typical action slop (at least the last time I saw it) and Paul Verhoeven is a faggot.

Are you referring to Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets?

Wrong, it's a satire at the corporativism nature around the edge of the 80's, with the globalism trend rising and over the top conflict/conspirationism events
One of the few movies to incorporate well enough most genres in a single pack and not turn out like a circus, along with having a clear concept that is not overly pretentious but justifies all decisions

See it with brand new eyes and taking into account it's a soft satire (unlike a ridicolous one like Commando), not an action vehicle like Predator either nor a "drama" like Rambo
Almost all actors were comedians/kid's show actors if you check closely, and if you are foreign, i've seen it in american spanish and italian, neither does justice to its soft/amoral take on serious issues

Not an argument, friendo, but i won't contest that as he clearly is a perv

Literally Bladerunner by day, even some machines look the same from the chinese organ maker
Jewish taxi driver, also a lift-up from a Die Hard character, is saviour of the universe by escorting a slavic red head mary-sue (jewish) and protecting a black tranny from an egyptian prophecy
It's a heeb show
Was he a kid when he saw Bladerunner and checked Chariots of the Gods book? he's no more different than Tarantino in terms of ripping off
At least you seem to have a grain of taste

tl;dr It's not that good, art direction was a rip-off but it was cool, it would be better if it was aimed as a comedy due to JarJar Tranny and Gary Oldman as a clueless Blofeld

but pic related is one of the best character in scifi, if not television. any show can write a character who is good at their job, or even vaguely knows they should be good at their job. SGU is the only place to find the peter principle taken this far out of the galaxy, in fact

The prequels are kino

Isn't the second pic some Moebius ?

NO.

Took a while to get going, and had an issue of same set syndrome. If ever a show desperately needed more funding

Taste worthy of being selected by High Command for breeding.

Are the original V series or Battlestar Gallactica a good watch?

Yes, well guessed. He co-wrote the script and designed the concept art for the main characters and locations.

wait Commando was a satire?

Moebuis' colaboration with Rene Laloux. Great movie.

...

Yes, if you can abide by dated effects and writing.

If you can handle TOS, you should be OK with the original V, and Battlestar Galactica.

For a real challenge: watch Buck Rogers. Rogers is the ultimate millennial normie filter.

Kill yourself. Show is pure undistilled hallucinogenic kino

how annoying is the little guy?
