AFAIK it's like this: Some drunken Soviet "premier" thought it's inconvenient that Crimea is a part of the Russian republic instead of Ukraine so he transferred it even though there were mostly Russians living there but who cares they're all Soviets now and the USSR will live forever.

Since most of the military remained with the Russians after the USSR fell apart they rented out their bases in the Crimea from Ukraine because the harbours there are their only realistic option for housing a fleet or two on their western seaboard. It kinda worked, Ukraine got paid because they won a round of "drunken premier" lottery and the Russians got a place to keep their navy.

Then the Ukrainians (specifically the ones funded and educated by Otpor which is more or less run and monied by Soros) lost their shit because their democratically elected president wanted away from the EU and towards Russia. There were a lot of unpleasant things happening (bomb threats, reports that would bloat the numbers of protesters who were bussed in - meaning (((someone))) financed it at least partially) which are (coincidentally) things that are starting to happen in Poland now. Since the new people that took over the country were very pro NATO and EU the Russians got anxious and there was some strife and there was a referendum and the people in Crimea (mostly Russians) decided to join Russia. I hear they even got the tourists back now (like a poorer Sweden but without all the nigs running around with knives).

If it stopped there there would now be talks and arbitrations about Crimea (and there'd be a chance for it to go back to Ukraine) but instead everyone is talking about the eastern part of Ukraine because the Russians allegedly (you have to say that word) sent troops there to destabilize the region (a lot of Russians live there, too) which is now kinda in civil war and everyone is talking about that which means Crimea is permanently in Russia now. That's what happens when there's someone capable running things. For more information on this overdoing your side in order to move the middle ground look into Josip Broz Tito (a communist, I know, but look at how he took Trieste after he took Istria and gave it back in talks afterwards instead of just taking Istria and having an arbitration take half away).

As for the kikery that happened in Ukraine it happened once before there and in both cases it was because the government liked Putin too much.

Allowing NATO access to their only year-round non-frozen port in the Black Sea would have been a disastrous strategic loss. Moves had to be made to not completely cripple their naval capacity, which leads to the annexation of Crimea before 'Ukrainian' forces were able to occupy it.

The US paid ukrainian ultra nationalists to overthrow the Pro russian goverment in a cold war tier move to try and isolate russia to destroy thier economy. The russians responded by annexing crimea and donbas the areas they need. This has caused division in the nationalist community because the ukranians are 14/88 tier nationalists but are bank rolled by the EU and US jews. And Russia has sent checnen mercenaries and gommies to fight for them. So one side is the right soldiers for the wrong team and the other is the wrong soldiers for the right team.

Why does everyone claim that Russia invaded Crimea? There is nothing to prove that. The fact of the matter is that Crimea held a referendum and voted to join with Russia, an overwhelming majority might I add.

There was no annexation. Crimea had the right to vote to leave and they did so. That is that. All the talk of annexation is media spin and lies from NATO kikes.

A lot of the pro-Russian forces in Ukraine were also supporters of communism, seems kind of fishy.

Ukraine have revolt every other year. One reach oligarch takes over previous one. The jews, muricans and whoever always take part in it, but they supported every government before current one. Nothing changes, only bydlo becomes more violent, but same shit happens everywhere.
