I remember when I first took a break from 4chan was when everyone was going on about how they were oldfags and everyone else was a newfag and how they didn't do certain things on 4chan. Like people started hating on namefags way more than usual because LE ANONYMOUS!!! despite how namefags used to be way more common in the early years

If you had left it at that, OP, I would agree with you.

While overall that is disappointing to me too, there are two things that I see as being positives about that situation that you should not overlook.

1. What that means is that both 4chan and Reddshit are essentially dead, and will soon go the way of MySpace. (Still out there, but completely unused.) That is a good thing, in my opinion. The world is better off without them.

2. The second thing is related to the first. It is that if all those immature, cretinous, ignorant, inbred, shit-eating assholes all come here, there won't be anywhere else for them to go next but Facebook. This chan, at least in their minds, is their last refuge from mainstream social media. That has always been their main criticism of Holla Forums, that we are too close to mainstream, too much normie, and a "poor man's Facebook". Yet here they come, flocking to the very site they claimed sucked so badly. It is entertaining to watch this unfold, really. To watch them eating crow with every post makes me smile.

This is a dead-end site for these retards. They will have to learn to get along with each other and not shitpost it to death like they have with 4chan and Reddshit, or they will have to take that final step and invade Facebook. I don't know who would win that invasion, and I don't much care, but it would be fun to watch. Maybe the planet will get lucky and neither side will survive.
