what happens when you find out that something you bought contains animal by-products? do you throw it away?

I'd prefer to be sure, but it's pretty much impossible sometimes. I buy toiletries from a store that assures they don't test their products on animals, and I also check the materials of clothing and other fabric stuff to make sure there's no leather, fur or wool included, but like I said, it's impossible to be 100% sure. I just try to avoid animal products as much as reasonably possible, so if theoretically the store I'm at doesn't happen to carry a brand of glue that doesn't contain animal by-products and I'm desperate for glue, I don't really have a choice.

And no, I haven't thrown out my leather computer chair after going vegan. I already bought it, the damage is done, throwing it out at this point would just be a waste of resources and money.

Fry the mushrooms and onions, reduce heat to medium-low, put the rinsed beans in and cook for 8 minutes. Then add the other shit and mix it all up.

Diet is pretty normal, still having a few supplements while I adjust fully to the vegan diet (iron, zinc, flaxseed oil), although I still eat plenty of junk food.

No clue where to buy flaxseeds in my area, I have chia seeds but I don't think they're as versatile, I put them in smoothies.
I've taken a look and it seems that spinach has quite a bit of what I need, so I'll check some recipes from that, as for zinc I'll consider pumkin seeds, the only problem is I can't find any info on the extent that phytates stop mineral absorbtion so I don't know how much more I need to eat, and it's also more cost efficient to supplement than buy packet after packet of pumpkin seeds. I've heard that oats are a good source of zinc?

I'm vegetarian. I've been vegetarian since birth. I often wonder if my overall fitness, stamina and muscle mass would have been better off if I had a better diet. My parents ate meat growing up but decided to go veggie after they got married. I kid you not that a lot of my meals were either soya or just bread and cheese. I played a lot of sports and ran a lot in my high school years but still was a little flabby and had man boobs.

My diet absolutely sucks but its still better now that I live on my own. I try to eat healthy but its hard. Quite simply cooked vegetables aren't very filling or heavy in your stomach. That is unless you are eating whole raw carrots, and lots of it then the taste sucks. The days that I go gym, I need two protein shakes (whereas normal people will just need one). Based on my shit diet I should actually be having a protein shake almost every day but its something that makes my stomach feel weird if I have too much of.

Anyways my long rant aside, a vegan diet will be more asinine and dumb than a vegetarian one. I know I get some protein from milk and cheese. If I go vegan I'll just dead. Oh yea. I take flax seed tablets (source of omega 3,6,9) and I take a B complex and a B-12 vitamin almost daily. That shit is hard to get on a veggie diet. And it has a noticeable impact on your mood and ability to think clearly.

Vegan diets are probably only suitable for women. Because they don't need much muscle to look attractive. And they generally don't care about that stuff.

As a caveat to this statement, I meant that pigs are not ruminids that are good at digesting cellulose. Pigs meant for slaughter are not fed exclusively grass or straw because they won't put on enough weight.
