Job ideas

I AM NOT ASKING FOR MONEY or DONATIONS

I only need to make a little over $1000 a month to move out of my parents' place.
Please give me ideas on ways to realistically do this without working at McDonalds

work at taco bell

Go to thrift store buy ugly shit and sell it at the local hipster store. They eat that shit up I can make 2.5-3k a month doing work only a few hours a day

McDonalds isn't that bad actually. If you don't want to work in the service industry try and find a trade you can apprentice under. One of my mates just got a pretty sweet plumbing apprenticeship.

But don't do that shit in Pittsburgh cus thats my turf

Grow pot.

Do you really do this?

grow up

yeah. you can get used panties for pecans in the thrift store. a load or two of my own on the gusset and they make 50 bucks on c.list. where are you at?

Pecans are expensive.

Is your dick big enough for porn?

sell pecans

Selling clothes from thrift stores to hipsters seems like a pretty good idea. I'm not OP but this prospect fascinates me.

Yeah Pittsburgh is loaded with dying old people with good clothing and rich hipsters going to college it is bank money ca$h

I have a deal with 3 different shops and it does not take long to know just what they want to buy

are you allowed to sell dirty underwear anymore

They don't buy undies that was not me I am

Shit I mean I am not
I am the rest

What kind of things do they like in general?

Men's clothing over woman's surprisingly as it is harder to get good quality men's clothing and the brand names that they like are kinda based on the shop I take some stuff to one of the stores and some stuff to others with a 50$ investment you can try your hand at it just make a day out of it and see how it goes but you won't start making real money for a month or two as you figure it out fully

But what as far as style?

I am literally in the same boat. Floating from job to job, stuck with my mother. Hate everything about it. Would rather live in a small apartment than live with her at this point. Issue is I have such a hard time getting jobs that pay higher than minimum. Even when I do work minimum wage job something always comes up that drains any savings I have. Right now I am in the red and barely affording my car. Just started looking for another job recently. Around here all of the jobs I want to get into are being filled by Mexicans.
Considered moving but that's hard when you have no money.

Western styles, old button downs, sweaters, dress pants if they have some kinda funkyness to them just hipster shit in general you kinda have to go to the place you intend to sell to and ask what they are looking for with winter coming sweaters are the top seller right now

I have done this for a few years now and I am not wealthy by any means but with life costs so low in Pittsburgh I can afford an apartment, food, cigs, and some steam games from time to time on it and still pay my way though school only dropping like 4 hours a day 5 days a week into it

Tried burger king? You're going to likely get shitty jobs - you get a shitty job, save up, get a better job, save up more, get some training for a decent job, get a decent job, save up enough for long term training, and after getting said training get a good job and have your life set. It isn't easy, but if it's worth it you'll find a way.

id try to get an entry job into a trade, some kind of apprentice, plumber, pest control, tire shop, these jobs wont pay much better than fast food but they can have long term potential if you like the career. Also consider jobs that other people dont want to do such as septic, garbage man or any other job that has a negative social stigma associated with it. garbage men can make over $20 per hour b/c they come home smelling like shit. but thats way more than 1k per month.

As a side note you should remember that no one ever got rich working for someone else, trying to start a business with very little overhead can be a great way to make money on the side, cutting grass is an obvious one, $20-30 per yard and you can rolling in the dough during the summer months

Jesus Christ you lazy fucks, there are groups that will help you get set up with an apprenticeship. It's money and training all in one.
Or join the military, easier to get in but you can't really quit.

Manufacturing, bro. I build car doors for a living. It's boring and repetitive, but it pays top dollar. Even if you're only an apprentice. Minimal social interaction too, in case you happen to be a spectacular autist.

I'm planning on working at the factory for another couple of years, just so that I have a solid employment history (I spent over four years NEET). I then want to apply for the merchant navy.

I'm in a similar boat, only I managed to move out, had to leave my job because of the distance, and have been unable to find a new one the last two months, so have been burning through my savings and if I don't make $600 by NYE I'm screwed.
I've considered doing something like writing lists for $100, via listverse.com/write-get-paid/, but really the amount of work and effort I'd put into it vs. the chance of it being accepted is probably not in my favor.

Probably fare better selling used underwear like anons brought up tbh.

Work 3rd shift security
Pros
Most likely alone all night
No hard labor
May be allowed to shitpost all night watch tv or read a book
May only have to work 3 or 4 12 hour shifts a week

Cons
May have to wear a stupid uniform
May have to do lots of walking while wearing steel toes. This will hurt your feet at first.
Will have to work holidays (Pro if you hate your family)
May have to work weekends
Paper work
Small chance you might die at work

Tell them you are happy to work 3rd shift or you want 3rd shift. Most people are looking for 1st and 2nd.

Fuck off, nightbeast.

Actually right now I'm working weekend day shifts
You've entered a den of nightbeasts my friend

In all seriousness more info is needed. I would say look for apprenticeships only because i'm in one now that offers promotions every 6 months with a guaranteed job at the end.

Has anyone done things like offer to build an online presence for small/new businesses for a fee? Like Google and Bing and Yelp and social media if they plan on using it, etc?
Or have the larger companies that offer this service really take over?
I'm thinking charge like $50 for what amounts to an hour and a half of work

Bump

2nd shift at a convenience store/service station

i reckon it's an alright idea

i think the difficult thing will be selling your services, you gotta figure out a pitch that explains what exactly you would do and just how beneficial it will be to the business (i assume a lot of older people have no idea about any of that kind of stuff and would be skeptical)

i was thinking of making a bunch of fake accounts on reddit and just padding them with useless comments and then try and get shit to the frontpage with product placement or "wow this company sent me a cool email in response to X" or whatever bullshit that they upvote there, but i have no idea how i would sell the service

If you charge more, the more likely they'll think you're good at.

Do you know where we are?

cough

I hate when you're in an interview and they act like the gatekeepers of the holy grail. What is my greatest weakness? Nigger you know im applying for cart pusher, right? Well if you must know, my greatest weakness is I keep ending up in shit jobs.
