Here's the summary of the case

John David "Johnny" Gosch (born November 12, 1969) he was a 12-year-old paperboy in West Des Moines, Iowa, when he disappeared on September 5, 1982 and was presumed kidnapped.
On Sunday, September 5, 1982, in the suburb of West Des Moines, Johnny Gosch left home before dawn to begin his paper route. Though it was customary for Johnny to awaken his father to help with the route, the boy took only the family's dachshund, Gretchen, with him that morning. Other paper carriers for The Des Moines Register would later report having seen Gosch at the paper drop, picking up his newspapers. It was the last sighting of Gosch that can be corroborated by multiple witnesses.

A neighbor named Mike reported that he observed Gosch talking to a stocky man in a blue two-toned Ford Fairlane with Nebraska plates; Mike didn't know what was discussed because he was observing from his bedroom window. As Gosch headed home, Mike noticed another man following Gosch. John and Noreen Gosch, Johnny's parents, began receiving phone calls from customers along their son's route, complaining of undelivered papers. John performed a cursory search of the neighborhood around 6 a.m. He immediately found Johnny's wagon full of newspapers two blocks from their home.

The Gosches immediately contacted the West Des Moines police department, and reported Johnny's disappearance. Noreen, in her public statements and her book Why Johnny Can't Come Home, has been critical of what she perceives as a slow reaction time from authorities, and of the then-current policy that Gosch could not be classified as a missing person until 72 hours had passed. By her estimation, the police did not arrive to take her report for a full 45 minutes. Police came to believe that Gosch was kidnapped, but they were unable to establish a viable motive. They turned up little evidence and arrested no suspects in connection with the case.

Almost 20 years later his mother Noreen found a packet of photographs left on the doorstep of her home, the photos were of her son Johnny gagged and tied. Since then multiple photos have been found of her son on online pedophile websites

I find these cases interesting from both a historical and criminal perspective. You can view websites which have many of these and lesser known cases, some of which are being investigated by individuals long after the authorities officially gave up. I wonder what happened to these poor boys and girls how close they may have come to escaping or being rescued; only to see that chance slip away in front of them.

Now answer me this, perhaps feds monitoring Holla Forums could weigh in: if you have a suspect in custody and you have obtained overwhelming evidence that he was running a child sex trafficking/kiddy porn operation involving child sex tourism, and you have mountains of forensic evidence and witness testimony, why is it even necessary to offer him a deal? For what purpose?

What are “these kinds of cases?” They were and continue to be difficult to define. They all involve allegations of what sounds like child sexual abuse, but with a combination of some atypical dynamics. These cases seem to have the following four dynamics in common: (1) multiple young victims, (2) multiple offenders, (3) fear as the controlling tactic, and (4) bizarre or ritualistic activity.

—- (1) MULTIPLE YOUNG VICTIMS

In almost all the cases the sexual abuse was alleged to have taken place or at least begun when the victims were between the ages of birth and six. This very young age may be an important key to understanding these cases. In addition the victims all described multiple children being abused. The numbers ranged from three or four to as many as several hundred victims.

—- (2) MULTIPLE OFFENDERS

In almost all the cases the victims reported numerous offenders. The numbers ranged from two or three all the way up to dozens of offenders. In one recent case the victims alleged 400-500 offenders were involved. Interestingly many of the offenders (perhaps as many as 40-50 percent) were reported to be females. The multiple offenders were often family members and were described as being part of a cult, occult, or satanic group.

—- (3) FEAR AS CONTROLLING TACTIC

Child molesters in general are able to maintain control and ensure the secrecy of their victims in a variety of ways. These include attention and affection, coercion, blackmail, embarrassment, threats, and violence. In almost all of these cases I have studied, the victims described being frightened and reported threats against themselves, their families, their friends, and even their pets. They reported witnessing acts of violence perpetrated to reinforce this fear. It is my belief that this fear and the traumatic memory of the events may be another key to understanding many of these cases.

—- (4) BIZARRE OR RITUALISTIC ACTIVITY

This is the most difficult dynamic of these cases to describe. “Bizarre” is a relative term. Is the use of urine or feces in sexual activity bizarre, or is it a well-documented aspect of sexual deviancy, or is it part of established satanic rituals? As previously discussed, the ritualistic aspect is even more difficult to define. How do you distinguish acts performed in a precise manner to enhance or allow sexual arousal from those acts that fulfill spiritual needs or comply with “religious” ceremonies? Victims in these cases report ceremonies, chanting, robes and costumes, drugs, use of urine and feces, animal sacrifice, torture, abduction, mutilation, murder, and even cannibalism and vampirism. All things considered, the word “bizarre” is probably preferable to the word “ritual” to describe this activity.

1. The first response on Reddit to the simple question of "wtf is this" came from a guy who claimed to have worked at Area 51 and who said it was a child trafficking center.

2. Reddit immediately shut down the story, causing a Streisand effect and a presumption that the Area 51 poster was on to something.

3. The local authorities got grouchy as people started calling in and scoping and vandalizing the place, causing people to presume that they must be hiding something.

4. Reddit continued censoring the story, keeping interest going over time.

5. A shipping database listed the place receiving imports from China. Another user said his business was in the database for transactions that were not theirs, so it looks like that database was broken.

6. Some Ryulong-tier linguist said that the day care's name advertised a whorehouse in Spanish. It didn't.

7. Other speculation built on previous speculation.

The only solid info that I saw is the citations that the day care got, which explains why the place was empty. I don't know if the rabbit has ever been explained
