Why are they the worst cancer?

Remember that apple cares about your privacy.
They even refused to comply to the FBI for access to an Iphone from a terrorist.
so basically Piracy is worse than terrorism.

No, terrorism just generates profits for companies and piracy is not.

Where will I download obscure full length HD Japanese porn now?

Someone has the whole magnet link database backed up somewhere I'm sure.

Damn. Does Holla Forums know of an alternative? How's the piratebay?

shit, I use torrentz.eu

Rarbg?

That's some extreme buyer's remorse.

kat had its own tracker? I thought they used whatever the fuck worked. A lot of the torrents I got some there had russian and other misc trackers. h

What are the chances he was using one of those "no logs" VPNs to login to Faceboot?

Would he really have been dumb enough to run the Faceberg page from this real IP?

People can be very smart in one are and fuck up badly in another. Just don't use Facebook.

That's a meta search engine but it's useful for finding more trackers.

That's just a repack group as far as I know

Use bitsnoop and TPB fam

I prefer having my movies in English.

keep up the good work

Apple can send itunes purchase info to the government about despite the fact Apple invented two-factor verification to encrypted this information, and will not give it to a customer who locks themselves out.
thenextweb.com/apple/2014/12/08/lost-apple-id-learnt-hard-way-careful-two-factor-authentication/

Impenetrable device, my ass. IOS is forced to appstore and forces to your apple id to use any of apple's services. Facetime/Imessage/Icloud/itunes all use your apple id and your email to use it's service. That includes trying to download free apps from the itunes. So Apple has logs of these actions in your account history

This news destroys any future icuck argument trusting Apple with your personal info. It means that if Apple has any records of your activities, they will give it to the feds.

pic related.

Moral of the story: Don't use Apple shit if you're hiding from feds.

Don't use Apple shit*

Fuck KA and its faggot community. Bring back BTDigg!

So what exactly is the argument against torrent sites now that they don't host any content. If having a website where people can share copyrighted content is illegal how does youtube or the entire WWW even stay up?

It's in English if you download the English version, not everything is in Russian.

Thanks Apple! :D

Youtube has better lawyers and is owned by google.

Absolutely none. They rely on the double-standard drilled into people's heads by PR that google, amazon, etc. are the good guys, while small sites, p2p networks, and 3rd party repositories are worse than hitler

If we put everyone in jail then no one will commit crimes.

It's a fool proof plan.

This reminds me of one of my favorite sayings,

The host is not liable according to the DMCA if the content is removed when the host is notified.

Download something for free.
Watch or do not watch ads for it.
(nothing, or barely enough what to sustain a server)
Terrorist are making money with it, in order to put bombs.

That explains why terrorism is so hard to kill.

Torrenting music available on itunes? What did he expect? Attack their business and get wrecked.
The refusal to cooperate with the fbi was also pure business. Apple promote their encryption as robust and their cooperation as reluctant, at one fell swoop. Marketing oblige.
Might this not be another honeypot, like tor, but proactively organised this time round? If the badguys believe apple encryption is secure, they'll use it. If it in fact isn't secure, apple shifts devices and scores brownie points with the agencies, while the badguys get busted.
Win-win for the industry and for the spooks.

when you pay for illegal torrents the money goes to terroists who buy bombs

You don't have to comply with the DMCA if you're not US based.

The most ironic part is how Apple wanted to pass themselves off as being protective of customer data and uncooperative with law enforcement for PR, only to do the exact opposite a couple of months later.

In the end, the only ones to blame here are the copyright leeches who push an unfounded, backwards, counterproductive system for their personal gain at the expense of everyone else.

For those of you using public trackers, what VPN would you recommend? I couldn't tell a good VPN from a hole in the ground, and some Plebbit fags I know recommended this: trust.zone/

I don't mind paying for a VPN but I'd like to be sure that they aren't just taking my money and then letting my ISP view all my downloads. What works for you, anons?

"I never asked for this."

torrentfreak has a good yearly list. Search for it

When oh when will people stop using clearnet torrents and get on i2p?

When i2p becomes user friendly for normalfags, as there will not be normalfag content there to attract the masses until normalfags themselves are able to use it.

It would be nice at least for people to switch from making .onion websites to .i2p. Tor was intended to be used primarily as a proxy, while i2p was designed from the ground up for hidden services. And now that Tor has been taken over by SJWs it is even more important to make the switch.

As for torrents, the normals are unfortunately content with paying for VPN subscriptions, despite the fact that they can never be trusted 100%. I just hope IPFS makes it trivial to tunnel through i2p, maybe then we can have a truly free internet.

what does ipfs provide that is even relevant here?

>kat.am/full/
Is this an archive or the site is back there?

Other than the torrent searchers and rutracker is there even anything else public and as big as tpb and kat were?

Must be an archive, it's missing a new show that came out just a few days before the original site got shut down. "Vice Principals" is no longer there.

Actually never mind, it's back again. Guess they're restoring things?

IPFS will eventually replace torrents.

I think you are right, but how long away are we from that point?

What's the advantages

Get torrent archives and you don't have to worry about sites going down
pastebin.com/knN28fdP

Torrentz will always love you. Farewell.
farewell fictional website

torrentz.eu got shut down too? Fucking hell, I am having problems at this point.

We told you MONTHS ago to start downloading everything because of the TPP. Now its dirty tendrils are creeping across the most popular piracy sites.

Every major torrent site that goes down brings IPFS closer, but don't for a second think that the jews aren't going to try to stop that too. IPFS's power lies not in the current internet, but in it's scalability with future meshnets independent of this failed experiment we're currently using.

shit, man, now with torrentz going down things are really getting desperate. torrentproject and rarbg are still up, but for how long?

as for when ipfs will be ready to replace torrents, we need at least three things to happen and to happen in this order:
1) the duplication issue needs to be fixed, so that adding files to the ipfs swarm doesn't take any more memory than is necessary to create the pointers and can happen seamlessly
2) for the thousands of long-time pirates out there to then add their terabytes of collections to the swarm -- most likely we all have the same copies of everything, just sitting on our drives not being used
3) someone needs to build a high-quality, robust, searchable, user-contributed index of all those hashes (there's no point files being on the swarm if you can't discover them)

after that it will still be a pretty long time until normies will adopt it en masse, but that will be sped up by all these torrent-site shut-downs (unless it kills it completely and moves everyone to netflix, a real possibility)

Finally shit is happening
but normalfags were like:

Still will have to buy more HDD
So... are there any Russian torrent sites?

Any country that can host even with the TPP TIPP and TISA?

So R.I.P torrents?

China? North Korea? Basicly any country with government that do not give a fuck about intellectual rights. This will be amusing you know... downloading pirated games/movies from a coutry with censored internet.

no user you are the cancer

They can't have that shit both ways. And it would have been easy to share the schematics for that chip which would have allowed the FBI to pay a hardware company to do the de-layering and disable the attempt limit (TPM is security by obscurity and limited access to tools).

the closest thing to torrentz.eu is:

torrents-pro.org/

there's also:

torrents.me/

It's slower and it uses Google but it includes a couple of private torrents websites.

china's internet lines that go into and out of the country are hopelessly slow, i've been there. i'm talking even for websites that are not blocked

though i will add that high quality copies of films are freely available on the domestic chinese internet

Russian sites work if they are not blocked by your ISP

The thing is that... well they have their content in Russian

We would need to upload our links there if everything burns

Maybe sites will have the address of the torrents as text to have some safety

Just shut down m8.

torrentfreak.com/torrentz-shuts-down-largest-torrent-meta-search-engine-says-farewell-160805/

For now IPFS just needs content. Upload shit!
IPFS not being searchable is also good because the bad guys can't find stuff that infringe their "rights". Centralization makes it easy to shut down (as we have seen).

Upload content and mention your upload in an IPFS bread.

I have a few TB of content but no way am I letting ipfs break it all up into zillions of tiny chunks and write it one-for-one as new data on my disks just so I can help the nascent network. Once the duplication issue is fixed I definitely will. Hence point (1) in my post.

then neither can you, it's that simple -- if the indexing sites are themselves hosted on ipfs/ipns (which I assume they will be) then they're just as resistant to being shut down as the content itself (ie, totally)

...

This shit has been going on for a long time. It reminds me of a very old case (90's, I think?) where a university student was arrested because he allowed people to use his FTP server, and they shared some copyrighted shit on it. I guess maybe that's why stuff like napster and other decentralized protocols started to get popular. Well people were already sharing stuff via IRC bots at the time, so it was kind of dumb, but nobody really cared much about random FTP sites back then. At worst some sysadmin would find your deeply-nested cache of stuff on his server's /incoming directory (with subdirs having invisible spaces or other unprintable characters) and he'd just nuke that shit and you end up uploading your shit somewhere else.

You shouldn't have ever believed otherwise. Any big company is complicit with the government, because they're controlled by the same people who influence the government.
The only exception is some small companies like lavabit, but many just won't care about you either (or at least not when the feds start turning the heat up on them), and you won't know for sure until it's too late.

You're asking for your own demise. Anywhere "normies" go, it gets corrupted.

The more normies are on i2p, the harder it is for any person to be unmasked.

This

Places like kat are a dime a dozen, and the community is alive and well at katcr.co

btdigg has left a void that has proved to be irreplaceable.

torrenthound.com and rarbg.to are my new favs

Or they could've, y'know, imaged the dedicated flash memory containing the auth header and brute force it. On the version of iPhone the terrorist had, it really was that simple.

You're a faggot PsyOp shill.

Keep dreaming, cryptotard.

i2p will NEVER be used by normalfags. It will never be remotely fucking fast enough. Only neckbeards will ever use it for filesharing unless we literally get to a stage where it's physically impossible to share copyrighted content over clearnet.

For consumers, a VPN/seedbox is all you need to stay safe. And you can download you full hd movie in a matter of minutes. On i2p that'd take you a week if you're lucky.

No one is ever going to use darknet filesharing for anything other than cp until some genius in a basement somewhere figures out how to do it without crippling speed.

QFT. Also I just posted to the IPFS thread and noticed it did not get bumped to the top. Is the thread broken or maybe my VPN IP has some anti-spam no bump filter placed on it?

BTDigg is/was a pretty simple pet project of some Russians. It has shown signs of lack of interest for years: the DHT network view was far from full, and uptime wasn't always good.

There's BitSnoop and BTDB and some Chinese clone I forgot.

I2P is already normie-ready, Vuze has built-in I2P client. AFAIK, all you have to do is load a torrent with I2P tracker link and click OK to start the plugin. The problem is that when you make something normie-oriented (like Popcorn Time), MAFIAA rages at your opportunity to disrupt the status quo.

Your post reeks of lame incompetence.

Thepiratebay is best alternative?

Yes, user let's convert a lossy stream to a lossy file that was most likely uploaded from a lossy source which was also possibly transcoded into a video file to be uploaded. I'm fine with lossy music but transcodes promote poor quality which I find disgusting.

Well honestly, he should have seen it coming. I mean, using apple products...
