The Armenian Genocide is sort of an illusion that arose because the AOG wants to have it's own version of the Holocaust. The reality is that as the Ottoman Empire was reduced to its core territories, it could no longer be a multi-ethnic empire anymore; it had to be divided up into ethnically homogenous nation-states, which meant that a lot of Greeks, Turks, and Armenians were going to have to move, and a lot were going to die. In the end the Greeks and Armenians did most of the dying and the Turks got almost all of Anatolia. I vaguely think it would have been nice if the European powers had been able to intervene to beat back the muzzies, but the British couldn't even take Gallipoli, so…
