GCC implements asm() function that allows you to mix them. Mixing them is not as smooth as it is in HolyC, but it is possible to do it.

Not really. While the syntax is generally similar and several functions have nearly similar names, Terry wrote everything himself from scratch and being libC compatible was never a goal.
